1 Instruções importantes sobre segurança e meio-ambiente

Esta secção contém informações
sobre segurança que ajudarão na
proteção de riscos de ferimentos
pessoais ou danos materiais. A
não-observância dessas instruções
poderão invalidar a garantia.

1.1 Segurança geral

A

A máquina de secar pode ser
usada por crianças maiores
de 8 anos e por pessoas com
capacidades físicas, sensoriais
e mentais não totalmente
desenvolvidas ou com falta de
experiência e conhecimento,
desde que sejam supervisionadas
ou esclarecidas sobre a utilização
segura do produto e os riscos
a ela inerentes. As crianças não
devem brincar com o produto. As
tarefas de limpeza e manutenção
não devem ser feitas por crianças,
a não ser que supervisionadas por
alguém.

• Manter afastadas as crianças com
menos de 3 anos a menos que
supervisionadas permanentemente.

• Os pés ajustáveis não deverão
ser retirados. O espaço entre a
máquina de secar e o chão não
deve ser reduzido com materiais
como carpetes, madeira ou fita. Isto
acarretará problemas à máquina de
secar.

• Os procedimentos de instalação
e reparação devem ser realizados
sempre pela Assistência Técnica

• Nunca lave a máquina de secar
pulverizando ou vertendo água
sobre ela! Há risco de choque

Para os produtos com a função
de vapor:

• Usar apenas água destilada ou água
condensada no depósito da água da
máquina nos programas de vapor.
Não usar água corrente ou aditivos.
Quando usar a água condensada no
depósito da água, a mesma deve ser
filtrada e isenta de fibras.

• Não abrir a porta quando o programa
de vapor está a ser realizado. Pode
ser expelida água quente.

• Antes de colocar a roupa mo
programa de vapor, as manchas na
mesma devem ser removidas.

• Pode apenas colocar no programa
do vapor a roupa que não está suja
ou com manchas mas que tenha um
cheiro desagradável (remoção do
cheiro).

• Não usar quaisquer itens de
limpeza a seco ou materiais
adicionais num programa de vapor
ou em qualquer outro programa.

1.1.1 Segurança eléctrica

• As instruções de segurança
eléctrica deverão ser seguidas
enquanto é realizada a ligação
eléctrica durante a instalação.

• O aparelho não deve ser
alimentado através de
um dispositivo externo de
comutação, como por exemplo
um temporizador ou ligado a um
circuito que seja normalmente
e por conveniência ligado e
desligado.

• Ligue a máquina de secar a uma
saída de terra protegida por um
fusível que esteja dentro dos
valores especificados na placa
de características. Chame um
um electricista qualificado para
efectuar a instalação de terra. A
nossa empresa não deverá ser
responsabilizada por algum dano
que possa surgir quando a máquina
de lavartiver sido utilizada sem uma
ligação à terra de acordo com as
normas locais.

• A voltagem e o fusível permitido
estão expressos na placa de
características.

• A voltagem especificada placa
de características deve ser igual à

voltagem eléctrica da sua casa.

• Desligue a máquina de secar da
tomada quando não estiver em
uso.

• Desligue a máquina de secar
da corrente eléctrica durante
os trabalhos de instalação,
manutenção, limpeza e reparação.

• Não toque na ficha com as mãos
molhadas! Nunca puxe pelo cabo
para retirar da tomada, mas sempre
pela ficha.

• Não use cabos de extensão, fichas
múltiplas ou adaptadores para ligar
a máquina de secar à electricidade,
para que haja um risco mínimo de
incêndio ou choque eléctrico.

• O cabo de alimentação deve estar
acessível após a instalação.

• Os cabos eléctricos danificados
devem ser substituídos
notificando O Serviço de
Assistência Autorizado.

• Se a máquina de secar estiver
com defeito, não deve ser
utilizada, excepto de for
reparada por um agente da
assistência autorizada. Há risco
de choque eléctrico!

1.1.2 Segurança do produto

PERIGO!

PERIGO!

• Pontos a ser tomados em
consideração para perigo de
incêndio:

• As roupas ou itens abaixo
especificados não devem ser secos
na máquina de secar considerando
o perigo de incêndio.

• Peças de roupa sujas não lavadas.

• Peças sujas com óleo, acetona,
álcool, gasóleo, querosene,
removedores de nódoas,
terebentina ou parafina
removedores de parafina, devem
ser lavadas em água quente com
bastante detergente antes de serem
secas na máquina de secar.

• Especialmente por esta razão os
itens que contêm as nódoas atrás
especificadas devem ser muito bem
lavados, para tal utilize detergente
apropriado e escolha a temperatura
alta de lavagem

• As roupas ou itens abaixo
especificados não devem ser
secos na máquina de secar
considerando o perigo de
incêndio:

• Vestuário ou almofadas reforçados
com esponja de borracha (látex),
toucas de banho, têxteis resistentes
a água, materiais com reforço de
borracha e ombreiras de esponja de
borracha.

• Roupas limpas com produtos
químicos industriais.

• Itens como isqueiros, moedas,
peças metálicas, alfinetes, etc.,
podem danificar o conjunto do
tambor ou podem conduzir a
problemas funcionais. Por isso,
verifique toda a roupa que carregará
na sua máquina de secar.

• Nunca pare a sua máquina de secar
antes do programa terminar. Se tiver
de fazer isso, retire rapidamente
toda a roupa e estenda-a para
dissipar o calor.

• As roupas que são lavadas de
forma inadequada podem incendiar­se por si mesmas e mesmo
incendiar-se depois da secagem ter
terminado.

• Deve providenciar uma ventilação
adequada para prevenir a exaustão
de gases de dispositivos que
funcionam com outros tipos de
combustível, incluindo a chama
aberta a partir da acumulação no
compartimento devido ao efeito de
contra-explosão.

• A roupa interior que contenha
reforços metálicos não deverá ser
colocada na máquina de secar.
A máquina de secar pode ficar
danificada se os reforços metálicos
se soltarem e quebrarem durante a
secagem.

• Use amaciadores, produtos
semelhantes conforme as
instruções dos seus fabricantes.

• Limpe sempre o filtro para
barbotos antes ou depois de cada
carregamento. Nunca utilize a
máquina de secar sem ter o filtro
para borbotos instalado.

• Nunca tente reparar a máquina
de secar por conta própria. Não
realize qualquer procedimento
de reparo ou de substituição no
produto, mesmo se souber ou
tiver habilidade para isso, a menos
que seja claramente sugerido nas
instruções sobre o funcionamento
ou no manual de assistência
publicado. Caso contrário, poderá
colocar a sua vida e a dos outros
em perigo.

• Não deve existir uma porta
bloqueável, deslizante ou com
dobradiças que possa bloquear a
abertura de carregamento no lugar
onde a máquina de secar vai ser
instalada.

• Instale a sua A máquina de secar
em locais adequados para o
uso doméstico. (Casa de banho,
varanda fechada, garagem, etc.)

• Certifique-se de que os animais
domésticos não entrem na máquina
de secar. Verifique o interior
da máquina de secar antes de
funcionar com a mesma.

• Não se apoie na porta de
carregamento da sua máquina de
secar quando esta está aberta,
caso contrário poderá tombar.

• Não se deve permitir a acumulação
de fiapos em volta da secadora.

1.2 Montagem sobre uma máquina de
lavar

Deve ser utilizado um dispositivo de
adaptação entre as duas máquinas ao instalar
a máquina de secar sobre uma máquina
de lavar. O dispositivo de adaptação deve
ser montado por um agente de assistência
autorizado.
O peso total da máquina de lavar e da
máquina de secar - com carga completa ­quando são colocadas uma sobre a outra,
atinge aprox. 180 quilos. Coloque os produtos
sobre um piso sólido que tenha suficiente
capacidade de suportar a carga!

• A máquina de lava não pode ser

colocada sobre a máquina de secar.
Preste atenção aos avisos atrás referidos
durante a instalação na sua máquina de
lavar.

1.3 Utilização prevista

A máquina de secar destina-se ao uso
doméstico. Não é apropriada para uso
comercial e não deve ser usada para além
daquilo a que se destina.
Use máquina de secar apenas para secar
roupas que tenham a indicação na etiqueta.
O fabricante declina qualquer
responsabilidade pelo uso ou transporte
incorrecto.
A vida útil da máquina de secar que adquiriu
é de 10 anos. Durante este período, estarão
disponíveis peças de reposição originais para
funcionar correctamente a máquina de secar.

1.4 Segurança das crianças

Os materiais de embalagem são perigosos
para as crianças. Mantenha os materiais de
embalagem longe das crianças.
Os produtos eléctricos são perigosos
para as crianças. Mantenha as crianças
afastadas da máquina quanto esta estiver
em funcionamento. Não as deixe mexer na
máquina de secar. Use um bloqueio para
crianças para evitar que as mesmas mexam
na máquina de secar.

Mantenha a porta de carregamento fechada
mesmo quando a máquina de secar não está
a ser utilizada.

1.5 Conformidade com o regulamento
REEE e eliminação de resíduos

WEEE da UE (2012/19/EU). Este
produto porta um símbolo de
classificação para resíduos de
equipamentos eléctricos e

electrónicos (WEEE).
Este produto foi fabricado com materiais
e peças de alta qualidade, que podem ser
reutilizados e reciclados. No fim da sua
vida útil, não elimine o resíduo com o lixo
doméstico normal ou outro lixo. Leve-o
a um centro de recolha para reciclagem
de equipamentos eléctricos e eletrónicos.
Consulte as autoridades locais para se
informar sobre estes centros de recolha.

3 Instalação

Antes do chamar o Serviço de assistência
Autorizado mais próximo para a instalação
da máquina de secar, certifique-se de que
a instalação eléctrica e a descarga de água
são apropriadas, consultando o manual do
utilizador. Se não forem apropriadas, contacte
um electricista e um técnico qualificados para
procederem aos arranjos necessários.

• A preparação do local onde será
colocada a máquina de secar, bem como
as instalações eléctricas e de esgoto são
de responsabilidade do cliente.

AVISO!

A

• Antes da instalação, verifique
visualmente se a máquina de secar
tem defeitos. Caso a máquina de secar
esteja danificada, não a instale. Produtos
danificados poderão trazer riscos à sua
segurança.

• Deixe a sua máquina de secar descansar
por 12 horas antes de a ligar.

3.1 Local propriado para instalação

Instale a máquina de secar sobre uma
superfície estável e nivelada.
A máquina de secar é pesada. Não a mova
sozinho.

• Utilize a sua máquina de secar num
ambiente limpo e bem ventilado.

• O espaço entre a máquina de e o chão
não deve ser reduzido com materiais
como carpetes, madeira ou fita.

• Não tape os orifícios de ventilação da
máquina de secar.

• Não deve existir uma porta bloqueável,
deslizante ou com dobradiças que possa
bloquear a abertura de carregamento no
lugar onde a máquina de secar vai ser
instalada.

• Uma vez que a máquina de secar esteja
instalada, deve permanecer no mesmo
local onde as instalações foram feitas. Ao
instalar a máquina de secar, certifique-se
que a parede traseira não está a tocar em
nada (torneira, tomada, etc.).

• Coloque a máquina de secara uma
distância mínima de 1 cm dos outros
móveis.

• A sua máquina de secar pode ser
utilizada a temperaturas compreendidas
entre +5°C e +35°C. Se as condições
de funcionamento estiverem fora dessa
escala, a máquina de secar poderá ser
adversamente afectada e sofrer uma
avaria.

• A parte traseira da secadora deverá ser
colocada contra uma parede.

• Não coloque a máquina de secar sobre o
cabo de alimentação.

3.2 Remover a montagem de

segurança de transporte

do seu aparelho
puder ser
modificado,
deve consultar
as instruções de
montagem da

3.3 Ligar à drenagem

Deve descarregar a água acumulada após
cada ciclo de secagem.
Pode descarregar directamente a água
acumulada através da mangueira de descarga
de água fornecida com o produto, em vez de
descarregar periodicamente a água recolhida
no reservatório de água.

descarga separadamente com a máquina de
secar ao ponto de ligação de onde removeu
a mangueira do produto no passo anterior.
4 Ligue a outra extremidade da mangueira de
descarga directamente à rede de esgoto ou

3.4 Ajustar os pés

• Rode os pés para
a esquerda ou
para a direita até
que a máquina
de secar esteja
nivelada e firme.

3.5 Transporte da máquina de secar

Descarregue toda a água que ainda estiver
dentro da máquina de secar.
Se for feita uma ligação directa de descarga
da água, então remova as ligações da
mangueira.

3.7 Substituir a lâmpada de
iluminação

No caso de ser utilizada uma lâmpada de
iluminação no secador de roupa
A substituição da Lâmpada/LED utilizada
para iluminação do secador de roupa, deve
contactar o Serviço de Assistência Autorizado.
A(s) lâmpada(s) utilizadas neste aparelho
não é (são) adequada(s) para iluminação
doméstica. A finalidade desta lâmpada
é auxiliar o utilizador a colocar de forma
confortável a roupa no interior do secador.
As lâmpadas usadas neste aparelho têm de
suportar condições físicas extremas como
vibrações e temperaturas superiores a 50ºC

AVISO!

• Recomendamos que transporte a sua
máquina de secar na posição vertical. Se
não for possível transportá-lo na posição
vertical, recomendá-los transportá-lo
com o lado direito inclinado para a
frente, quando olhado de frente.

3.6 Avisos sobre sons

• É normal ouvir
um ruído metálico
do compressor
algumas vezes
durante o
funcionamento.

• A água recolhida durante o
funcionamento é bombeada para o
reservatório de água. É normal ouvir o
barulho do bombeamento durante este
processo.

4 Preparação

4.1 Roupa apropriada para secagem
na máquina de secar

Observe as instruções presentes nas
etiquetas do vestuário. Seque apenas a roupa
que tenha a etiqueta a dizer que se pode
secar numa máquina de secar e certifique-se
de que selecciona o programa apropriado.

4.2 Roupa não apropriada para
secagem na máquina de secar

• Tecidos bordados delicados, lã, roupas
de seda, roupas delicadas e valiosas,
itens impermeáveis e cortinas de tules
não são apropriados para secar na
máquina.

4.3 Preparação da roupa para a

secagem

• A roupa pode ficar emaranhada após a

lavagem. Desprenda as roupas antes de
as colocar dentro da máquina de secar.

• Roupas secas que possuem acessórios

metálicos como fechos de correr, viradas
ao contrário.

• Aperte os fechos, ganchos e fivelas e

botões metálicos.

4.4 O que pode ser feito para poupar

energia

• Centrifuge a sua roupa na velocidade

mais alta possível ao lavá-la. Assim, o
tempo de secagem é encurtado e o
consumo de energia reduzido.

• Separe a roupa de acordo com os tipos e

espessuras. Seque juntamente o mesmo
tipo de roupa. Por exemplo, os panos
de cozinha e toalhas de mesa podem
secar mais rápido que toalhas de banho
grossas.

• Siga as instruções no manual do utilizador

para a selecção do programa.

• Não abra a porta de carregamento da

máquina durante a secagem, a menos
que seja necessário. Se tiver mesmo que

abrir a porta, procure mantê-la aberta o
menos tempo possível.

• Não adicione roupa molhada com a
máquina de secar em funcionamento.

• Para modelos com uma unidade de
condensador: limpar o condensador uma
vez por mês ou após cada 30 operações
regularmente.

• Limpar o filtro periodicamente quando
existir um conjunto visível de resíduos
do ar ou quando o respetivo símbolo
acender, se existir um símbolo de aviso
de limpeza da gaveta do filtro.

• Para modelos com unidade de caldeira,
deve cumprir com as instruções de
ligação da caldeira.

• Durante o processo de secagem, arejar o
espaço onde o secador de roupa está a
funcionar.

5.3 Preparação da máquina de secar

• Ligar a máquina de secar

• Abrir a porta de carga.

• Colocar a roupa na máquina de secar
sem a obstruir.

• Pressionar e fechar a porta de carga.

a roupa não fica
presa na porta de
carga.

Selecionar o programa pretendido utilizando
o botão de selecção On/Off/Programa, a
máquina começará a funcionar.

Pode selecionar nos programas de tempo
entre 10 a 160 minutos para obter o nível
de secagem pretendido a uma temperatura
reduzida. Neste programa, o funcionamento
do tambor do secador ocorre durante o
tempo definido independentemente do nível
de secagem da roupa. Este produto encontra­se disponível para ser utilizado com cesto de
secagem opcional. Para os produtos que são
vendidos sem um cesto, pode obter um cesto
num serviço autorizado e usar os programas
de secagem acima especificados. Para os
detalhes de utilização, deve consultar o manual
do utilizador do cesto de secagem.

Ventila durante 10 minutos sem soprar ar
quente. Pode ventilar com este programa o
vestuário de algodão e linho que tenha estado
guardado durante muito tempo para remover
os odores do mesmo. Pode utilizar este
programa para ventilar e amaciar a roupa de
algodão que pode ser lavada na máquina de
lavar roupa. Não utilizar para secagem total.

Seca as camisas de uma forma mais delicada
e, dá origem a menos rugas e maior facilidade
ao passar a ferro.

Pode secar as calças, camisas, saias, ou
blusões de ganga neste programa.

Use-o para secar as peças de vestuário
de tecido sintético, algodão ou de tecidos
mistos ou os produtos à prova de água, como
por exemplo os casacos de trabalho, as
gabardines, etc. Volte-os do avesso antes de
colocar a secar.

em algodão como sintética. Vestuário de
desporto e de fitness podem ser secos com
este programa.

Este é um programa demorado que pode ser
utilizado para roupa de pessoas que sofram
de alergias ou para roupas que necessitem
de higienização (roupa infantil, toalhas,
roupa interior, etc. têxteis em algodão). São
disponibilizados níveis elevados de higiene
com temperatura elevada. ((Este programa
está identificado e aprovado pela “The British
Foundation” de Inglaterra (Allergy UK).))

Pode secar o vestuário com enchimento de
penas ou de fibras que tenha a indicação
na etiqueta que pode ser seco no secador
como uma peça única de roupa. Pode secar o
edredão de tamanho grande, as almofadas ou
os casacos como uma peça única de roupa.
Seque as suas roupas, tal como casacos e
blusões voltados do avesso.

Utilize este programa para ter 2 camisas
prontas para passar a ferro.

reduz significativamente o conteúdo de
alergénios no ambiente onde vivem os
pacientes que sofram de alergia. Tem o
objetivo de providenciar a segurança de que
os produtos são cientificamente testados ou
analisados de modo a providenciar
resultados mensuráveis.

5.5 Funções auxiliares

Vibração/Tempo
A máquina de secar emite avisos sonoros
quando o programa está concluído. Se não
pretender ter um aviso sonoro, deve premir
o botão “Vibração/Tempo”. Quando premir o
botão Vibração/Tempo, acender-se-á uma luz
e não será produzido qualquer aviso sonoro
quando o programa terminar.

• Pode selecionar esta função antes ou
depois do programa se ter iniciado.

O botão Vibração/Tempo é usado para ajustar
a duração do programa quando os programas
Guardar/Tempo são selecionados.
Nível de secagem
O botão de nível de secagem é usado para
ajustar o nível de secagem pretendido. A
duração do programa pode ser alterada
dependendo da seleção.

• Pode desativar esta função apenas antes
de iniciar o programa.

Hora de Fim

Pode retardar a duração do fim do programa

para até 24 horas com a função de Hora
de Fim.

1. Abrir a porta de carga e colocar a roupa.

2. Selecionar o programa de secagem.

3. Premir o botão de selecção de
duração de fim e definir a duração de
retardamento pretendida. O LED de Hora
de Fim fica iluminado. (Quando premido
e mantido premido o botão, a Hora de
Fim continua sem parar).

4. Premir o botão Iniciar / Pausa. A
contagem decrescente da Hora de Fim
começa. “:” O separador no meio da hora
de retardamento exibida fica a piscar.

• Pode adicionar ou remover roupa
durante a hora de fim. O tempo no visor
é o total do tempo de secagem normal e
hora de fim. O LED de Hora de Fim será
desligado na acumulação da contagem
decrescente, a secagem começa e o
LED de secagem acende.

Alterar a hora de fim

Se pretender alterar a duração de fim durante
a contagem decrescente:
Cancelar o programa rodando o botão de
seleção On/Off/Programa. Selecionar o
programa que pretende e repetir o processo
de seleção de Hora de Fim.
Cancelar a função de hora de fim.
Se pretender cancelar a contagem
decrescente de hora de fim e começar o
programa imediatamente.
Cancelar o programa rodando o botão de
seleção On/Off/Programa. Selecionar o
programa que pretende e premir o botão
Iniciar/Pausa.

5.6 Indicadores de aviso

• Os indicadores de aviso podem diferir
dependendo do modelo do seu secador
de roupa.

Limpeza do filtro

Quando o programa estiver concluído, o
indicador de aviso para a limpeza do filtro
acende.

Depósito de água

Quando o programa estiver concluído, o
indicador de aviso para o esvaziamento do
depósito da água acende.
Se o depósito de água encher enquanto o
programa está a decorrer, o indicador de

aviso começa a piscar e a máquina entra
Pausa. Neste caso esvaziar a água existente
no depósito e iniciar o programa premindo
o botão Iniciar / Pausa. O indicador de aviso
desliga-se e o programa é retomado.

Gaveta do filtro/ Limpeza do permutador
de calor.

Quando o programa acaba, o símbolo de
limpeza do permutador de calor ou da gaveta
do filtro podem acender.

5.7 Iniciar o programa

Premir o botão Iniciar / Pausa para iniciar o
programa.
Os indicadores de Iniciar/Pausa e Secagem
acendem para indicar que o programa já
começou.

5.8 Bloqueio Crianças

A máquina dispõe um bloqueio de crianças
que impede o programa da máquina de ser
interrompido quando os botões são premidos
durante o funcionamento. Quando o bloqueio
de crianças está ativo, todos os botões no
painel estão desativados exceto o botão de
selecção On/Off/Programa.
Premir os botões Nível de Secagem e
Vibração simultaneamente para os 3 botões
para ativar o bloqueio de crianças.
O bloqueio crianças deve ser desativado
para poder iniciar um novo programa
depois do programa atual terminar ou para
poder interferir com o programa atual. Para
desativar o bloqueio de crianças, deve manter
os mesmos botões premidos durante 3
segundos.

• Quando o bloqueio de crianças é
ativado, o indicador de aviso de bloqueio
de crianças no visor acende.

• O bloqueio Crianças é desativado
quando a máquina é desligada e ligada
de novo usando o botão Ligar/Desligar.

Quando o bloqueio de crianças está ativo:
Quando a máquina de secar está a funcionar
ou Pausa, os símbolos do indicador não serão
alterados depois de alterar a posição do
botão de seleção do programa.

• Quando a máquina de secar está a
funcionar e o bloqueio de crianças está
ativo, emite dois bipes quando o botão
de seleção do programa é rodado. Se
o bloqueio de crianças for desativado
sem rodar o botão de seleção do
programa para a respetiva posição
inicial, o programa terminará devido a
uma alteração na posição do botão de
seleção do programa.

5.9 Alterar o programa depois de ser
iniciado

Pode alterar o programa que selecionou para
secar a sua roupa com um programa diferente
depois da máquina ter começado a funcionar.

• Por exemplo, selecionar o programa
Secagem Extra rodando o botão de
seleção On/Off/Program para selecionar
Secagem Extra em vez de Secagem para
Passar a Ferro.

• Premir o botão Iniciar / Pausa para iniciar
o programa.

Adicionar ou remover roupa durante a
fase Pausa.

Se desejar adicionar ou remover roupa para/
da máquina de secar depois do programa de
secagem estar iniciado:

• Premir o botão Iniciar/Pausa para colocar
a máquina no modo Pausa. A operação
de secagem para.

• Abrir a porta de carga na posição Pausa
e fechar a porta depois de ter adicionado
ou retirado roupa.

• Premir o botão Iniciar / Pausa para iniciar
o programa.

• A adição de roupa feita depois da
operação de secagem ter sido iniciada
pode dar origem a que a roupa seca
no interior da máquina se misture com
a roupa molhada e que a roupa se
mantenha húmida depois da operação
terminar.

• Adicionar ou remover roupa durante a
secagem pode ser repetido quantas
vezes desejar. Mas este processo
interromperia continuamente a operação
de secagem e isso poderá dar origem
a que a duração do programa seja
alargada e aumentar o consumo de
energia. Portanto, é recomendado
adicionar a roupa antes do programa
iniciar.

• Se for selecionado um novo programa
rodando o botão de selecção do
programa enquanto a sua máquina
de secar estiver no modo Pausa, o
programa que está a decorrer termina.

AVISO!

• Não tocar na superfície interior do

tambor quando estiver a adicionar ou
a remover roupa durante um programa
contínuo. A superfície do tambor está
quente.

5.10 Cancelar o programa

Se desejar cancelar o programa e terminar
a operação de secagem por qualquer
razão depois da máquina de secar iniciar o
funcionamento, premir o botão Ligar/Desligar,
o programa será cancelado.

5.11 Fim do programa

No fim do programa, os símbolos de aviso
de Limpeza de Fibras do Filtro e Depósito
de Água no indicador de monitorização do
programa acendem. A porta de carga pode
ser aberta e a máquina fica pronta para uma
segunda secagem.
Colocar o botão de On/Off/Program na
posição On/Off para desligar a máquina.

NOTA

C

• Se a roupa não for retirada depois do
programa estar concluído, a função de
prevenção de rugas é ativada durante 2
horas para evitar que a roupa no interior
da máquina fique enrugada. O programa
faz rodar a máquina no tambor com 10
minutos de intervalo par a impedir que
fique enrugada.

AVISO!

• O interior da máquina de secar deve
estar extremamente quente quando
cancelar o programa durante o
funcionamento da máquina, portanto
deve iniciar o programa de arrefecimento
para permitir que o mesmo arrefeça.

6 Manutenção e limpeza

6.1 Superfície interior da porta do
tambor

O cabelo e fibras que são separados da
roupa durante o processo de secagem são
recolhidos pelo filtro de fibra.

• Abrir ambos os filtros (filtros interior e
exterior) remover o cabelo, as fibras, as
bolas de algodão, com a mão húmida ou
um aspirador ou um pano.

• Este produto tem de estar desligado
durante os trabalhos de manutenção e
limpeza (painel de controlo, corpo, etc.).

• As fibras são formadas durante o uso e
lavagem de roupas.

• Pode limpar a ranhura do filtro com um
aspirador.

AVISO!

A

• Após cada ciclo de secagem, limpar o
filtro de fibras e a superfície interna da
porta do tambor.

Para limpar o filtro de fibras:

• Abrir a porta do tambor.

• Segurar a primeira parte (filtro de entrada)

do filtro de fibras de duas partes e retirá-la,
puxando-a para cima.

• Recolher o cabelo, as fibras e as bolas de

algodão manualmente ou com um pano
macio.

• Retirar a segunda parte (filtro exterior)

puxando-a para cima.

• Limpar os dois filtros sob água corrente no
sentido inverso de acumulação de fibras
ou com uma escova macia. Secar o filtro
antes de o voltar a colocar.

• Inserir os filtros de
fibra um no outro e
colocá-los de novo
no lugar respetivo.

• Limpar o interior da porta do tambor e a
sua máquina de lavar com um pano macio
e húmido.

NOTA

C

• Assegurar que cabelo, fibras e as bolas
de algodão não caem na ranhura onde
os filtros estão instalados.

6.2 Limpar o sensor

Existem sensores
de humidade na
máquina de secar
que detectam se
a roupa está seca
ou não.
Para limpar os
sensores:

• Abrir a porta do tambor do secador.

• Deixar que a máquina arrefeça se ainda
estiver quente devido ao processo de
secagem.

• Limpar as superfícies metálicas com um
pano macio, humedecido com vinagre e
secar as mesmas.

Se se esquecer de esvaziar o depósito da
água, a máquina parará durante os ciclos
subsequentes de secagem quando o
depósito de água está cheio e o símbolo de
aviso de Depósito de Água estiver a piscar. Se
for este o caso, esvaziar o depósito de água e
premir o botão Iniciar / Pausa para retomar o
ciclo de secagem.
Para esvaziar o depósito de água:

1. Retirar o depósito da água na gaveta ou
no recipiente cuidadosamente.

NOTA

C

• Limpar as superfícies metálicas dos
sensores 4 vezes por ano.

• Não usar ferramentas metálicas quando
limpar as superfícies metálicas dos
sensores.

AVISO!

A

• Nunca usar solventes, soluções de

limpeza ou substâncias similares para
limpeza devido ao risco de incêndio e
explosão!

6.3 Esvaziar o depósito de água

A humidade da roupa é removida e
condensada durante o processo de secagem
e a água que aparece é acumulada no
depósito para a mesma. Esvaziar o depósito
de água depois de cada ciclo de secagem.

A

• A água condensada não é apropriada

para beber!

• Nunca remover o depósito de água

quando o programa está a decorrer!

2. Esvaziar a água existente no depósito.

• Se existir uma acumulação de resíduos
no funil do depósito de água, limpar o
mesmo com água corrente.

• Colocar o depósito de água na
respectiva posição.

NOTA

• Se o esvaziamento directo da água for
usado como opção, não há necessidade
de esvaziar o depósito da água.

6.4 Limpar o evaporador

Os cabelos e as fibras que não são
apanhados pelo filtro de fibras vão para as
aletas do evaporador atrás do resguardo e

acumulam-se aqui. Se o ícone do evaporador”

” estiver a piscar ou em períodos de 6

meses, limpar o evaporador.

• Abrir o resguardo

reencaminhamento
de ar no lugar,
mover os trincos
para a fechar e
fechar o resguardo.

AVISO!

• Pode limpar manualmente, desde que
use luvas de proteção. Não tente limpar
com as mãos desprotegidas. As aletas do
evaporador podem causar-lhe danos nas
mãos.

• A limpeza com movimentos da esquerda
para a direita podem danificar as aletas do
evaporador. Isto pode causar problemas de
secagem.

7 Resolução de problemas

A operação de secagem é demasiado longa.
Os poros do filtro de fibra (filtro interior e exterior)
podem estar entupidos. >>> Lavar os filtros de fibra
com água quente e secar.
A frente do evaporador pode estar entupida. >>>
Limpar a frente do evaporador.
As grelhas de ventilação na frente da máquina
podem estar fechadas. >>> Remover quaisquer
objetos na frente das grelhas de ventilação que
bloqueiam o ar.
A ventilação pode não ser a adequada porque a
zona onde a máquina está instalada é demasiado
pequena. >>> Abrir a porta ou as janelas para
impedir que a temperatura ambiente fique
demasiado elevada.
Pode ter-se acumulado uma camada de calcário
no sensor de humidade. >>> Limpar o sensor de
humidade.
Pode ter sido carregada uma quantidade excessiva
de roupa. >>> Não carregar excessivamente a
máquina de secar.
A roupa pode não ter sido adequadamente
centrifugada. >>> Realizar uma centrifugação com
maior velocidade na máquina de lavar.
As roupas saem húmidas depois da secagem.
Não deve ter sido usado um programa adequado
ao tipo de roupa. >>> Verificar a etiqueta de
manutenção no vestuário e selecionar um programa
adequado ao tipo de tecido ou usar programas do
temporizador adicionalmente.
Os poros do filtro de fibra (filtro interior e exterior)
podem estar entupidos. >>> Lavar os filtros de fibra
com água quente e secar.
A frente do evaporador pode estar entupida. >>>
Limpar a frente do evaporador.
Pode ter sido carregada uma quantidade excessiva
de roupa. >>> Não carregar excessivamente a
máquina de secar.
A roupa pode não ter sido adequadamente
centrifugada. >>> Realizar uma centrifugação com
maior velocidade na máquina de lavar..

O secador de roupa não roda ou o programa não
pode ser iniciado. O secador de roupa não funciona
depois de configurado.

A ficha de alimentação pode estar desligada.
>>>Assegurar que o cabo de alimentação está
ligado à tomada.
A porta de carga pode estar aberta. >>> Certificar
que a porta de carga está corretamente fechada.
Pode não ter sido definido um programa ou o
botão Iniciar / Pausa / Cancelar pode não ter
sido premido. >>> Certificar que o programa está
selecionado e que não está na posição Pausa.
Pode estar ativado o bloqueio de crianças. >>>
Desligar o bloqueio de crianças.

O programa foi interrompido sem razão aparente.
A porta do tambor pode não estar completamente
fechada. >>> Certificar que a porta de carga está
corretamente fechada.
Pode ter havido uma interrupção de energia. >>>
Premir o botão Iniciar / Pausa / Cancelar para iniciar
o programa.
O depósito da água pode estar cheio. >>>Esvaziar
o depósito de água

As roupas podem ter encolhido, estarem duras ou
estragadas.

Pode não ter sido usado um programa adequado
ao tipo de roupa. >>> Verificar as etiquetas de
manutenção na roupa e selecionar um programa
adequado para o tipo respetivo.
Fugas de água da porta de carga.
As fibras podem ter-se acumulado nos lados
interiores da porta de carga e na junta da porta
de carga. >>> Limpar as superfícies interiores da
porta de carga e as superfícies da junta da porta
de carga.
A porta de carga abre sozinha.
A porta do tambor pode não estar completamente
fechada. >>> Empurrar a porta de carga até ter
sido ouvido o som de fechar..

O símbolo de aviso do depósito de água está
aceso/a piscar.

O depósito da água pode estar cheio. >>>Esvaziar
o depósito de água
A mangueira de descarga da água pode ter caído.
>>> Se o produto estiver ligado diretamente a uma
drenagem de águas residuais, verificar a mangueira
de drenagem de água

A iluminação no interior do secador de roupa não
acende. (em modelos com lâmpada)

A máquina de secar pode não ter sido ligado
usando o botão Ligar/Desligar. >>> Verificar se a
máquina de secar está ligada..
A lâmpada pode estar a funcionar mal. >>>
Contactar um Serviço Autorizado para substituir a
lâmpada.
O ícone anti-vinco está aceso.
O modo anti-vinco que evita que a roupa no
secador se vinque possa ser ativado. >>> Desligar
o secador e retirar a roupa.
O ícone de limpeza do filtro de fibras está aceso.
Os filtros de fibra (filtro interior e exterior) podem
estar sujos. >>> Lavar os filtros de fibra com água
quente e secar.
Pode ser formada uma camada nos poros do filtro
de fibra que leva ao entupimento. >>> Lavar os
filtros de fibra com água quente e secar.
O filtro de fibras pode não ter sido colocado. >>>
Inserir os filtros interior e exterior nos respetivos
lugares.
É ouvido um aviso sonoro a partir da máquina.

1 Important instructions for
safety and environment

1.1 General safety

A

The dryer can be used by children
at and above 8 years old and by
persons whose physical, sensory
or mental capabilities were not fully
developed or who lack experience
and knowledge provided that they
are supervised or trained on the
safe usage of the product and the
risks it brings out. Children should
not play with the product. Cleaning
and maintenance works should not
be performed by children unless
they are supervised by someone.
Children of less than 3 years should
be kept away unless continously
supervised.

• Adjustable feet should not be
removed. The gap between the
dryer and the floor should not be
reduced with materials such as
carpet, wood and tape. This will
cause problems with the dryer.

Always have the installation and
repairing procedures carried
out by the Authorized Service.
Manufacturer shall not be held
liable for damages that may arise
from procedures carried out by
unauthorized persons.

• Never wash the dryer by spraying
or pouring water onto it! There is
the risk of electric shock!

• Use only distilled water or water
condensed in the water tank of the
machine in steam programs. Do
not use mains water or additives.
When using condensed water in the
water tank, it should be filtered and
cleared of fibres.

• Do not open the door when steam
programs are running. Hot water
may be expelled.

• Before putting laundry in a steam
program, stains on it should be
removed.

• You may only put laundry that is not
dirty or stained but permeated with
unpleasant odour in steam (odour
removal) program.

• Do not use any dry cleaning sets
or additional materials in a steam
program or in any program.

1.1.1 Electrical safety

should be followed while electrical
connection is made during the
installation.

• The appliance must not be
supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer,or
connected to a circuit that is
regularly switched on and off by
utility.

• Connect the dryer to a grounded
outlet protected by a fuse at the
value specified on the type label.
Have the grounding installation
performed by a qualified electrician.
Our company shall not be liable for
any damages that will arise when
the dryer is used without grounding
in accordance with the local
regulations.

• The voltage and allowed fuse
protection is stated on the type label

plate.

• The voltage specified on the type
label must be equal to your mains

voltage.

• Unplug the dryer when it is not in
use.

• Unplug the dryer from the mains
during installation, maintenance,
cleaning and repair works.

• Do not touch the plug with wet
hands! Never unplug by pulling
on the cable, always pull out by
grabbing the plug.

• Do not use extension cords, multi­plugs or adaptors to connect the
dryer to power supply in order to
decrease the risk of fire and electric

• Power cable plug must be easily
accessible after installation.

• Damaged mains cable should be
changed notifying the Authorized

operated unless it is repaired by an
authorized service agent! There is
the risk of electric shock!

1.1.2 Product safety

• Superheating of the clothes inside
of the dryer can occur if you cancel
the programme or in the event of
a power failure whilst the dryer is
running, this concentration of heat
can cause self-combustion and fire
so always activate the ventilation
programme to cool down or quickly
remove all laundry from the dryer in
order to hang them up and dissipate
the heat.

Points to be taken into
consideration for fire hazard:

Below specified laundry or items
must not be dried in the dryer
considering fire hazard.

• Unwashed laundry items

• Items soiled with oil, acetone,
alcohol, fuel oil, kerosene, stain
removers, turpentine, paraffin or
paraffin removers must be washed
in hot water with plenty of detergent
before being dried in the dryer.

For this reason especially the items
containing the above specified
stains must be washed very well,
to do this use adequate detergent
and choose a high washing
temperature.

Below specified laundry or
items must not be dried in the
dryer due to the fire hazard:

• Garments or pillows bolstered with
rubber foam (latex foam), shower
bonnets, water resistant textiles,
materials with rubber reinforcement
and rubber foam pads.

Clothing cleaned with industrial
chemicals.
Items such as lighter, match,
coins, metal parts, needle etc. may
damage the drum set or may lead
to functional problems. Therefore
check all the laundry that you will
load into your dryer.
Never stop your dryer before the
programme completes. If you must
do this, remove all laundry quickly
and lay them out to dissipate the
heat.

• Clothes that are washed
inadequately may ignite on their
own and even may ignite after
drying ends.

• You must provide enough ventilation
in order to prevent gases exiting
from devices operating with other
types of fuels including the naked
flame from accumulating in the
room due to the back fire effect.

A

• Underwear that contains metal
reinforcements should not be dried
in the dryer. Dryer may be damaged
if metal reinforcements come loose
and break off during drying.

• Use softeners and similar products

in accordance with the instructions

of their manufacturers.
Always clean the lint filter before or
after each loading. Never operate
the dryer without the lint filter
installed.

A

WARNING!

• Never attempt to repair the dryer
by yourself. Do not perform any
repair or replacement procedures
on the product even if you know
or have the ability to perform the
required procedure unless it is
clearly suggested in the operating
instructions or the published service
manual. Otherwise, you will be
putting your life and others’ lives in
danger.

• There must not be a lockable, sliding
or hinged door that may block the
opening of the loading door in the
place where your dryer is to be
installed.

• Install your dryer at places suitable
for home use. (Bathroom, closed
balcony, garage etc.)

• Make sure that pets do not enter the
dryer. Check the inside of the dryer
before operating it.

• Do not lean on the loading door of
your dryer when it is open, otherwise
it may fall over.

• The lint must not be allowed to
accumulate around the tumble dryer

• The tumble dryer is not to be used if
industrial chemicals have been used
for cleaning.

• Fabric softeners, or similar products.
should be used as specified by the
fabric softener instructions.

• Exhaust air must not be discharged
into a flue which is used for
exhausting fumes from appliances
burning gas or other fuels.

1.2 Mounting over a washing machine

• A fixing device should be used between
the two machines when installing the
dryer above a washing machine. The
fitting device must be installed by the
authorized service agent.

• Total weight of the washing machine
and the dryer -with full load- when
they are placed on top of each other
reaches to approx. 180 kilograms. Place
the products on a solid floor that has
sufficient load carrying capacity!

• Washing machine cannot be placed on
the dryer. Pay attention to the above
warnings during the installation on your
washing machine.

1.3 Intended use

• Dryer has been designed for domestic
use. It is not suitable for commercial
use and it must not be used out of its
intended use.

• Use the dryer only for drying laundry that
are marked accordingly.

• The manufacturer waives any
responsibility arisen from incorrect usage

• The service life of the dryer that you
purchased is 10 years. During this period,
original spare parts will be available to

1.4 Child safety

• Packaging materials are dangerous for
the children. Keep packaging materials
away from children.

• Electrical products are dangerous for the
children. Keep children away from the
product when it is operating. Do not let
them tamper with the dryer. Use the child­proof lock in order to prevent the children
to tamper with the dryer.

Before the calling the nearest Authorized
Service for the installation of the dryer, ensure
that electrical installation and water drain is
appropriate referring to the user’s manual.
If they are not suitable, contact a qualified
electrician and technician to make necessary
arrangements.

A

• Prior to installation, visually check if the
dryer has any defects on it. If the drier
is damaged, do not have it installed.
Damaged products cause risks for your
safety.

• Let your dryer wait for 12 hours before
starting to use it.

3.1 Appropriate installation location

Install the dryer on a stable and level surface.
Dryer is heavy. Do not move it by yourself.

• Operate your dryer in a well ventilated,
dust-free environment.

• The gap between the dryer and the
surface should not be reduced by the
materials such as carpet, wood and tape.

• Do not cover the ventilation grills of the
dryer.

• There must not be a lockable, sliding or
hinged door that may block the opening
of the loading door in the place where
your dryer is to be installed.

• Once the dryer is installed, it should stay
at the same place where its connections
have been made. When installing the
dryer, make sure that its rear wall does
not touch anywhere (tap, socket, etc.).

• Place the dryer at least 1 cm away from
the edges of other furniture.

• Your dryer can be operated at
temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
If the operating conditions fall outside
of this range, operation of the dryer will

be adversely affected and it can get
damaged.

• The rear surface of the tumble dryer shall
be placed against a wall.

3.2 Removing the transportation

stepped on and it is not folded between

3.4 Adjusting the feet

3.3 Connecting to the drain

You can directly drain accumulated water
through the water drain hose supplied with
the product instead of periodically draining the
water collected in the water tank.

3.6 Warnings about sounds

pumped to water tank. It is normal to
hear pumping noise during this process.

3.7 Changing the illumination lamp

In case an illumination lamp is used in your
laundry dryer.To change the Bulb/LED used
for illumination of your tumble dryer, call your
Authorized Service.The lamp(s) used in this
appliance is not suitable for household room
illumination. The intended purpose of this
lamp is to assist the user to place laundry in
the tumble dryer in a comfortable way. The
lamps used in this appliance have to withstand
extreme physical conditions such as vibrations
and temperatures above 50 °C

4 Preparation

4.1 Laundry suitable for drying in the
dryer

Always obey the instructions given on the
garment tags. Dry only the laundry having a
label stating that they are suitable for drying
in a dryer and make sure that you select the
appropriate programme.

• Delicate embroidered fabrics, woollen,
silk garments, delicate and valuable
fabrics, airtight items and tulle curtains
are not suitable for machine drying.

4.3 Preparing laundry for drying

• Laundry may be tangled with each other
after washing. Separate the laundry items
before placing them into the dryer.

• Dry garments having metal accessories
such as zippers, inside out.

• Fasten the zippers, hooks and buckles
and button sheets.

4.4 Things to be done for energy

saving

• Spin your laundry at the highest speed
possible when washing them. Thus,
the drying time is shortened and energy
consumption is reduced.

• Sort out the laundry depending on their
type and thickness. Dry the same type of
laundry together. For example thin kitchen
towels and tableclothes dries earlier than
thick bathroom towels.

• Follow the instructions in the user manual
for programme selection.

• Do not open the loading door of the
machine during drying unless necessary.
If you must open the loading door, do not
keep it open for a long time.

tumble drier’s operation lasts for the set time
independently from the dryness of laundry. This
product is available to be used with a drying
basket as option. For products that are sold
without a basket, you can obtain a basket
from an authorized service and use the drying

Ventilates for 10 minutes without blowing hot air.
You can ventilate the cotton and linen clothes
that have been enclosed for a long time with this
program to remove their odour. You can use this
program to ventilate and soften wool laundry that
can be washed in a washing machine. Do not
use for full drying.

It dries the shirts in a more sensitive manner, and

You can delay the end time of the program up
to 24 hours with End time function.

1. Open the loading door and place the
laundry.

2. Select the drying program.

3. Press the End Time selection button and
set the delay time you wish. End Time
LED will illuminate. (When pressed and
hold the button, End Time proceeds non­stop).

4. Press the Start / Stand-by button. End
Time countdown starts. “:” Separator in
the middle of displayed delay time flashes.

• You can add or remove laundry within
end time. Displayed time is the sum of
normal drying time and end time. End
Time LED will turn off at the end of
countdown, drying starts and drying LED
will illuminate.

Changing the end time

If you want to change the duration during the
countdown:
Cancel the program by turning the On/Off/
Program selection knob. Select the program
you want and repeat the End Time selection
process.
Cancelling the end time function
If you want to cancel the end time countdown
and start the program immediately:
Cancel the program by turning the On/Off/
Program selection knob. Select the program
you want and press the Start/Stand-by button.

5.6 Warning indicators

Filter cleaning

When the program is completed, the warning
indicator for filter cleaning turns on.

Water tank

If the water tank fills up while the program
continues, the warning indicator starts flashing
and the machine goes into stand-by. In this
case, empty the water tank and start the
program by pressing the Start / Stand-by
button. Warning indicator turns off and program
resumes.

Filter drawer /Heat exchanger cleaning

When the programme is finished, the cleaning
symbol of the heat exchanger or filter drawer
may light up.

5.7 Starting the program

Press the Start/Stand-by button to start the
program.
Start/Stand-by and Drying indicators will
illuminate to indicate that program started.

5.8 Child Lock

The drying machine has a child lock which
prevents the program flow from being
interrupted when the buttons are pressed
during a program. When the child lock is
activated, all buttons on the panel except
the On/Off/Program selection knob are
deactivated.
Press the Drying Level and Buzzer buttons
simultaneously for 3 buttons to activate the
child lock.
The child lock has to be deactivated to be
able to start a new program after the current
program is finished or to be able to interfere
with the program. To deactivate the child lock,
keep the same buttons pressed for 3 seconds.

• When the child lock is activated, the child
lock warning indicator on the screen
turns on.

• Child lock deactivates when the drying
machine is turned off and on by the On/
Off/Cancel knob.

• When the drying machine runs and
the child lock is active, it beeps twice
when the program selection knob is
turned. If the child lock is deactivated
without returning the program selection
knob to its previous position, program
will terminate due to the change in the
program selection knob position.

5.9 Changing the program after it is
started

You can change the program you selected to
dry your laundry with a different program after
the drying machine starts running

• For instance, select Extra Dry program
by turning the On/Off/Program selection
knob to select Extra Dry instead of Iron
Dry.

• Press the Start/Stand-by button to start
the program.

Adding and removing clothes during
stand-by

If you want to add or remove clothes to/from
the drying machine after the drying program
starts:

• Press the Start/Stand-by button to put
the drying machine in Stand-by state. The
drying operation stops.

• Open the loading door while in Stand­by state, and close the door after you
remove or add laundry.

• Press the Start/Stand-by button to start
the program.

NOTE

C

• Adding laundry after the drying operation
starts may cause the dried laundry inside
the machine to mix with wet laundry and
leave the laundry damp at the end of
operation.

NOTE

C

• Adding or removing laundry during drying
may be repeated as many times as you
wish. But this operation continuously
interrupts the drying operation, and thus
increases program duration and energy
consumption. So, it is recommended to
add laundry before the program starts.

• If a new program is selected by turning
the program selection knob while the
drying machine is in stand-by, the
running program terminates.

WARNING!

• Do not touch the inner surface of the
drum while adding or removing clothes
during a continuing program. The drum
surface is hot.

5.10 Cancelling the program

If you want to cancel the program and
terminate the drying operation for any reason
after the drying machine starts running, turn
the On/Off/Cancel knob, the program will be
cancelled.

WARNING!

A

• The inside of the drying machine shall
be extremely hot when you cancel the
program during machine operation, so
run the refresh program to allow it to cool
down.

5.11 End of program

When the program ends, the Last/Anti-Wrinkle
and Fibre Filter Cleaning Warning LEDs on
the program follow up indicator will illuminate.
Loading door may be opened and the dryer
machine becomes ready for another run.
Bring the On/Off/Program selection knob to
On/Off position to turn the drying machine off.

NOTE

• If the laundry is not removed after the
program is completed, the wrinkle
prevention function activates for 2 hours
to prevent the laundry inside the machine
to get wrinkled. The program tumbles
the laundry with 10-minute intervals to
prevent them from wrinkling.

6 Maintenance and cleaning

6.1 Loading Door Inner Surface

The hair and fibres that are separated from the
laundry during drying process is collected by
the Fibre Filter.

NOTE

C

• Fibres are formed during wearing and
washing clothes.

• You can clean the filter slot with a
vacuum cleaner.

WARNING!

A

• After each drying cycle, clean the fibre
filter and the inner surface of the loading
door.

To clean the fibre filter:

• Open the loading door.

• Hold the first part (inner filter) of the two

part fibre filter and remove it by pulling it
upwards.

• Collect the hair, fibres and cotton balls with

hand or with a soft cloth.

• Remove the second part (outer filter) by

pulling it upwards.

• Open both fibre filters (inner and outer
filters) remove the hair, fibre, cotton balls
with your damp hand or a vacuum cleaner
or a cloth.

• Clean both filters under water running in
reverse direction of fibre accumulation
or with a soft brush. Dry the filter before
placing it back.

• Insert the fibre filters
on one another and
place it back in its
place.

NOTE

C

• Ensure that hair, fibre and cotton balls do
not fall into the slot where the filters are
installed.

• Clean the loading door interior and its
washer with a soft damp cloth.

6.2 Cleaning the sensor

There are
dampness sensors
in the dryer that
detect whether
the laundry is dry
or not.
To clean the
sensors:

• Open the loading door of the dryer.

• Allow the machine to cool down if it is still
hot due to the drying process.

• Wipe the metal surfaces of the sensor
with a soft cloth, dampened with vinegar
and dry them.

NOTE

C

• Clean metal surfaces of the sensors 4
times a year.

• Do not use metal tools when cleaning
metal surfaces of the sensors.

WARNING!

A

• Never use solvents, cleaning agents or
similar substances for cleaning due to the
risk of fire and explosion!

6.3 Draining the water tank

Dampness of the laundry is removed and
condensed during drying process and the
water that arise accumulates in the water tank.
Drain the water tank after each drying cycle.

If you forget to drain the water tank, the
machine will stop during the subsequent drying
cycles when the water tank is full and the Water
Tank warning symbol will flash. If this is the
case, drain the water tank and press Start /
Pause button to resume the drying cycle.
To drain the water tank:

1. Remove the water tank in the drawer
or container carefully.

2. Drain the water in the tank.

• If there is lint accumulation in the funnel
of the water tank, clean it under running
water.

• Place the water tank into its seat.

NOTE

• If the direct water draining is used as an
option, there is no need to empty the
water tank.

• Condensed water is not drinkable!

• Never remove the water tank when the
program is running!

6.4 Cleaning the evaporator

The hair and fibres that are not caught by the
fibre filter goes to the fins of the evaporator
behind the toe board and accumulates here.
If the evaporator” ” icon is flashing or in 6

month periods, clean the evaporator.

• Open the toe
board by pressing
on it.

• To open the air

7 Troubleshooting

Drying operation takes too long.

Fibre filter (interior and exterior filter) pores may be clogged.
>>> Wash the fibre filters with warm water and dry.
Evaporator front side may be clogged. >>> Clean the front
side of the evaporator.
The ventilation grills in front of the machine may be closed.
>>> Remove any object in front of the ventilation grills that
blocks air.
Ventilation may be inadequate because the are the
machine is installed in is too small. >>> Open the door
or windows to prevent the room temperature from rising
very high.
A lime layer may have accumulated on the humidity
sensor. >>> Clean the humidity sensor.
Excessive amount of laundry might be loaded. >>> Do not
load the drying machine excessively.
Laundry might not have been wrung adequately. >>>
Perform a higher speed wringing on the washing machine.

Clothes come out damp after drying.

A program not suitable for the laundry type may have been
used.>>> Check the maintenance labels on the clothes
and select a program suitable for the clothes’ type or use
time programs as extra.
Fibre filter (interior and exterior filter) pores may be clogged.
>>> Wash the filters with warm water and dry.
Evaporator front side may be clogged. >>> Clean the front
side of the evaporator.
Excessive amount of laundry might be loaded. >>> Do not
load the drying machine excessively.
Laundry might not have been wrung adequately. >>>

Drying machine does not turn on or program cannot be
started. Drying machine does not run after it is configured.

Power plug might be unplugged. >>> Make sure the
power cord is plugged in.
Loading door might be open. >>> Ensure that the loading
door is properly closed.
A program might not be set or Start / Pause /Cancel
button might not be pressed. >>> Check that the program
is set and it is not in Pause position..
Child lock may be activated. >>> Turn off the child lock.

Program terminated prematurely for no reason.

Loading door might be closed completely. >>> Ensure
that the loading door is properly closed.
There might be a power outage. >>> Press the Start /
Pause / Cancel button to start the program.
Water tank may be full. >>> Empty the water tank.

Clothes have shrunk, hardened or spoiled.

A program not suitable with the laundry type might have
been used. >>> Check the maintenance labels on the
clothes and select a program suitable for the clothes.

Water drips from the loading door.

Fibres might have gathered on the inner sides of the
loading door and the loading door gasket. >>> Clean the
inner surfaces of the loading door and the loading door
gasket surfaces.

Loading door opens by itself.

Loading door might be closed completely. >>> Push the
loading door until the closing sound is heard.

Water tank warning symbol is on/flashing.

Water tank may be full. >>> Empty the water tank.
Water discharge hose might have collapsed. >>> If the
product is connected directly to the water drain check the
water discharge hose.

The lighting inside the drying machine does not turn on. (In
models with lamp)

The drying machine might not have been turned on using
On/Off button. >>> Check that the drying machine is
turned on.
Lamp might be malfunctioning. >>> Contact Authorized
Service to replace the lamp.

Anti-crease icon is lit.

Anti-Crease mode that prevents the laundry in the drier
to crease may be activated. >>> Turn the drier off and
remove the laundry.

Fibre filter cleaning icon is lit.

Fibre filter (interior and exterior filter) may be unclean. >>>
Wash the filters with warm water and dry..
A layer may be formed on the fibre filter pores that leads to
clogging. >>> Wash the filters with warm water and dry.
Fibre filters may not be inserted. >>> Insert the interior and
exterior filters to their places.

An audible warning is heard from the machine

Fibre filters may not be inserted. >>> Insert the interior and
exterior filters to their places.

Evaporator warning icon is flashing.

Evaporator front side may be clogged with fibres. >>>
Clean the front side of the evaporator.
Fibre filters may not be inserted. >>> Insert the interior and
exterior filters to their places.

The lighting inside the drying machine turns on. (In models
with lamp)

If the drying machine is plugged to the power outlet, the
On/Off button is pressed and the door is open; the light
turns on. >>> Unplug the drying machine or bring the On/
Off button to Off position.
