1.0 SOUND COVER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) Getting Started
Its very important that you follow these instructions in the sequence noted. Read the instructions carefully before proceeding with the actual work.
WARNING Make certain that the 714XLT is unplugged. Do not plug the power cord into an AC outlet until the XLT is fully re-assembled, adjusted and ready to use. Unplug the XLT any time disassembly is required.
Find a suitable table upon which to set the XLT if not already mounted to the Baum USA optional carts (P/N 55849-001 or 279-834-BG-01).
1) Locate and remove the plugs (4) on the back of the non-operator side guard.(See figure 1, Item 1) These holes are for mounting the rear sound cover door.

2) Remove the guard from the non-operator side by
removing the four button head screws; using a an allen wrench.
3) Mount the bottom half of the hinge(Figure 2, Item 1) to the hinge mounting bracket(Figure 2, Item 2) so that the plastic side guard is clamped between them.(Figure 2, Item 3)
4) Make certain that the screws do not penetrate into the opening for the hinge pin.
Set aside panel until re-installation operation.
