With your metal detector, you can hunt for coins, relics, jewelry, gold, and silver
just about anywhere. The detector is versatile and easy to use, features
include:
LCD Display—shows the probable type of metal with an arrow, the depth of
the target, DISC/NOTCH range, the level of SENS with segment, the operating
mode, and low battery indication.
Three Tone Audio Discrimination—sounds distinctive tones for different
types of metal.
Notch—ignores junk metal and finds valuable items by setting the disc and
notch range.
Super Slow Sweep Identification—with a very slow sweep of the search coil
to discriminate different types of metal.
Headphone Jack—lets you connect headphones (not supplied).
Waterproof Search Coil—lets you use the detector it shallow water.
Note: Your metal detector requires two 9-volt alkaline batteries (not supplied).

A few basic rules you should follow while using your detector
Always get permission before searching any site
Respect the rights and property of others
Observe all national, state and local laws when treasure hunting
Never destroy historical or archaeological treasures. If you are not sure
about an object you have found, contact a museum or historical
society in your area.
Leave the land and vegetation as is, and fill in any holes you dig.
Use the detector only in safe areas
Dispose of any junk you may find, only in approved areas. Do not
leave it for the next treasure hunter find.
PREPARATION
ASSEMBLING THE DETECTOR
1. Assembling your detector is easy and requires no special tools. Insert the
latch on the top of the handle into the assembly hole on the bottom of the
control box. Then slightly pull the handle in the direction of IN on the handle
to fix the latch in place. Secure the control box by fixing screw properly.

2. Unscrew the knob on the search coil and remove the knob connector.
Insert the stem and align the holes on the search coil bracket and the stem.
Push the connector through the holes and tighten the knob.
3. Wind the search coil cable around th e stem. Leave enough slack in the
cable. Insert the search coil cable plug into the five pin jack on the
front c ontrol boxs housing.
4. Turn the stems lock nut clockwise until it loosens. Lengthen or shorten so
when y ou stand upright wi th the detector in your hand, the search coil is
level with and about 1/2 to 2 inches above the ground with your arm
relaxed at your side. Turn the stems lock nut counter-clockwise to lock it in
place.
Caution:
DO NOT force the plug or you could d amage it. The search coils plug
fits into the connector only one way.
DO NOT over tighten the search coil or use tools such as pliers to
tighten it.
DO NOT disassemble the stem lock nut. In case you disassemble it
careless ly, place the washer o n the top of the stem connected with
the handle with the small
head of the washer
upwards. Then hitch the
stem lock nut on the
washer then tighten it to
lock it in place.
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
Cautions:
Use only fresh alk aline batteries of required size.
Do not mix the old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
