A single solution for:
• visual mixing
• display recording
• video streaming
• image processing
FlexiVision III
Advanced imaging platform
FLEXIVISION III is Barco’s revolutionary, high-performance
Electro-Optical (EO) sensor video processing system. It consists
of a growing set of modular components that provide a
variety of imaging functions. These building blocks create
systems that process multiple sensor video inputs for
situational awareness displays.
Building upon previous generations of products and utilizing
leading edge technologies such as RapidIO
®
, Gigabit Ethernet,
and JPEG2000, F
LEXIVISION III enables advanced, real-time sensor
video processing for military surveillance and reconnaissance
applications. F
LEXIVISION III implements functions such as sensor
fusion, electronic image stabilization, video warping and video
networking for battlespace intelligence and network-centric
environments.

FLEXIVISION III processing functions
FLEXIVISION III consists of a single board solution that provides a multitude of
functions, as illustrated below. These functions may be cascaded to perform
further processing on a given input sensor video signal.
Image processing: Programmable video processing module enables
functions such as image stabilization, warping and
fusion
Video streaming: JPEG2000 module provides low latency video
streaming and lossless quality over Gigabit
Ethernet
Display recording: JPEG2000 module enables high-quality video
recording
Visual mixing: Universal frame grabber module enables image
scaling, zooming, positioning and overlay/underlay
capability
