INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT! Only use the adaptor and attachments supplied with this
appliance. Please note, if the wrong adaptor is used, the blue LED will blink continuously. Once the wrong adaptor is removed the blue LED will continue to blink for some time after removal. This is normal. When charging the appliance the blue LED charging light will ash slowly and continuously until the battery has fully charged, then the blue LED charging light will stop ashing but remain on.

Charging the Appliance
• Before using for the rst time, the appliance should be fully charged
continuously for 3 hours. This initial super-charge ensures optimum power performance to ensure smooth fast trimming every time. Maximum battery capacity will only be reached after 3 charging and discharging cycles.
• 2 hours full charge will provide approximately 120 mins use and 20 mins
quick charge will supply 20 mins use.
• Ensure the appliance is switched off.
• Insert the appliance into the charging.
Cordless Operation
• Ensure appliance is charged for a minimum of 30 minutes. The blue LED
charging light will ash when the adaptor is correctly inserted into the appliance and connected to the mains.
• Once the appliance is fully charged the blue LED charging light will stop
ashing but remain on. Remove the mains cord from the appliance, turn on and use as required.
Preserving the batteries
• In order to maintain the optimum capacity of the Lithium-ion rechargeable
batteries, the trimmer should be fully discharged and then recharged for 3 hours every 6 months.
• For optimum performance, we recommend you charge the unit for at
least 30 minutes before using the appliance each time. This applies to whether you are using it with cordless power.
Preparation for Use
• Always inspect the appliance before use for noticeable signs of damage.
Do not use if damaged.
• Ensure the heads are free from hair and debris.
• Ensure the appliance is sufciently charged.
• Use on clean, dry hair that has been combed until tangle-free.
