For the highest video quality and performance, AXIS Q6035/-E PTZ Dome Network Cameras are
the choice. The indoor and outdoor-ready PTZ domes provide high-denition surveillance of large
areas and great details when zooming in. The high-speed PTZ domes are ideal for city and
perimeter surveillance, and for airports, seaports and casinos.
AXIS Q6035/-E cameras offer a rich viewing experience,
providing clear video of movements and sharp details for
identification purposes. The HDTV 1080p complies with
the SMPTE 274M standard regarding a 1920x1080 pixel
resolution, full frame rate at 25/30 frames per second,
HDTV color fidelity and a 16:9 format.
The cameras also support 50/60 frames per second
in HDTV 720p, ideal for applications that require the
capture of quick movements and smoother video.
The cameras’ 20x optical zoom, in combination with the
HDTV 1080p resolution, results in sharp and powerful
zoomed-in views.
Support for High Power over Ethernet simplies
installation. The indoor AXIS Q6035 is IP52-rated,
ensuring protection against dust and dripping water.
The outdoor AXIS Q6035-E, with IP66 and NEMA 4X
ratings, is protected against rain, sun, snow and ice.
Incorporating Axis' Arctic Temperature Control, the
outdoor camera can start up even at -40 °C (-40 °F).

Network Cameras provide the highest reliability and pan/tilt/zoom performance for surveillance
of large indoor and outdoor areas under wide operating conditions.
Ultimate video quality with high-speed pan/tilt/zoom
AXIS Q6035/-E cameras enable full frame rate video
in HDT V 1080p, which provides more than twice the
number of pixels compared with HDTV 720p. When the
cameras use HDTV 720p, users get double the number
of frames in a second (50/60 fps) for even smoother
video.
The high resolution together with 20x optical zoom
with autofocus results in exception zoomed-in details.
AXIS Q6035/-E provides a fast pan/tilt speed of 450°
per second, enabling the camera to get to a different
viewing position very quickly.
The cameras support multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG
video streams. H.264 greatly optimizes bandwidth and
storage without compromising image quality.

Day/night functionality and wide dynamic range
The cameras provide day/night functionality with an
automatically removable IR-cut filter for clear video,
even in low light conditions. The wide dynamic range
functionality enables better visibility of objects in both
dark and light areas of a scene.

Tour recording
The tour recording functionality
in AXIS Q6035/-E enables easy
setup of an automatic tour
using a device such as a
joystick to record an operator’s
pan/tilt/zoom movements and
length of time spent at each
point of interest. The tour can
then be activated at a touch of
a button or at a scheduled
time.

Active Gatekeeper
Active Gatekeeper enables AXIS Q6035/-E cameras to
automatically move to a preset position—to zoom in, for
instance, on a license plate—when motion is detected
in a pre-dened area, and to track the detected object.
Reliable and easy installation
AXIS Q6035/-E cameras are powered using High Power
over Ethernet, enabling easy installation. The cameras
connect to the supplied High PoE midspan with one
network cable for carrying power, video/audio and PTZ
controls. The midspan is then connected to a switch.
AXIS Q6035/-E cameras have IP ratings, in addition to
a NEMA rating for the outdoor cameras, ensuring easy
installation and reliable operation in indoor or outdoor
environments. No additional enclosures are required.
The Arctic Temperature Control functionality in the
outdoor PTZ cameras also ensures that the cameras
can start up even at -40 °C (-40 °F) following a power
failure.
The cameras are also designed with easy bayonet
mounting to Axis’ standard mounting accessories for
ceiling, wall, pole or corner installations. Mounting
brackets for hard and soft ceilings are included with

Intelligent video, audio and alarm management
Intelligent video functions such as video motion
detection, audio detection and applications supported
by AXIS Camera Application Platform can be used
as alarm triggers to activate recording and send
notications via e-mail, HTTP and TCP.
When an optional multi-connector cable is used, the
indoor AXIS Q6035 enables users to remotely listen in
and communicate with, for example, intruders. The cable
also allows the indoor camera to connect to external
devices such as sensors and relays to, for example, turn
on lights or lock doors when an alarm is triggered.
