TheAxisproductusesa3.0VBR/CR2032lithiumbatteryasthepowersupplyforitsinternal real-timeclock(RTC).Undernormalconditionsthisbatterywilllastforaminimumofveyears.
LowbatterypoweraffectstheoperationoftheRTC,causingittoresetateverypower-up.When thebatteryneedsreplacing,alogmessagewillappearintheproduct’sserverreport.Formore informationabouttheserverreport,seetheproduct´ssetuppagesorcontactAxissupport.

ThehousingusedinthisAxisproductfeaturesArcticTemperatureControl,whichisenabledby settingtheColdStartupDelayswitchtoI(ON).Whenenabled,thisfunctioncontrolswhenthe camerarestartsafterapowercut,whentemperaturesarebelow0°C(32°F);thecameraisrst heatedtoapproximately0°C(32°F)beforeitinitializes.Thispreventsdamagetocameramodels thatincludemovingparts.
