Control Unit
1. Select a location under the dash that will allow you to use the tie wraps to securely fasten the control unit.
2. Mount the control unit as high as possible to ensure maximum security.
3. Do not mount the control unit near moving parts.
5. Route wires from this point, leaving slack for ease of service.
NOTE: All wires are BLACK. Each wire has a WHITE label to identify their purpose (see Wiring Diagram). Remove the white label after you make your wire connections.

Ignition Disable
CAUTION : Make sure the wires are solidly connected. The ignition
circuit may draw very high current. We recommend that all
I
connections be soldered.
1. Locate the ignition switch loom under the dashboard.
2. Use a voltmeter to locate the one wire that shows +12 volts when the ignition key is in the "ON," "CRANK" and "RUN" positions, and 0 volts when the ignition key is in the "OFF" position.
3. Cut this wire in half. Test by attempting to start the engine with the ignition key. The starter will crank but the engine will not start.
4. Connect one of the control unit ignition and ignition input wires to the vehicle ignition switch side.
5. Connect the other control unit ignition wire to the vehicle ignition coil side.
Starter Disable
CAUTION : Make sure the wires are solidly connected. The starter
circuit may draw very high current. We recommend that all
I
connections be soldered.
1. Locate the ignition switch wire loom under the dashboard.
2. Use a voltmeter to find the one wire that will show +12 volts while the ignition key is in the "CRANK" position only. This should be the starter solenoid wire.
3. Cut the starter solenoid wire. Test by trying to crank the starter with the ignition key. If it does not crank, you have the correct wire.
4. Connect one of the control unit starter wires to the vehicle starter switch side.
5. Connect the other control starter wire to the vehicle starter solenoid side.

Additional Disable Circuit
The wires labeled 30 amp relay are used to immobilize a third circuit on the vehicle. This wire can be used to interrupt a secondary ignition wire or fuel pump relay.
CAUTION: Make sure the wires are solidly connected. The disable circuit may draw very high current. We recommend that all
I
connections be soldered.
1. Use a voltmeter to locate the wire you have chosen to immobilize.
2. Cut this wire in half.
3.
Connect one of the control unit 30 amp relay wires to one side of the vehicle wire.
4. Connect the other control unit 30 amp relay wire to the other end of the vehicle wire.
Optional Horn Output
1. Use a voltmeter to locate the vehicle (-) horn output wire, at the steering column.
2. Connect the control unit horn wire to the vehicle horn wire.
Coded Key Receptacle
1. Choose a location under the dashboard or in the center console that is easy and convenient for the customer.
2. Use the two supplied screws to mount the receptacle.
3. Plug the receptacle into the control unit.
Valet Switch
1. Discuss placement with the owner.
2. Choose a location for the valet switch that is hidden, but convenient for the owner to access.
3. Drill a ¼" hole and mount the switch.
4. Route the valet switch wires to the control unit.
5. Plug the valet switch BLUE connector into the control unit BLUE plug.

Power and Ground Connections
1. Connect the Immobilizer power wire (labeled "constant +12 volt") to one end of the fuse assembly. Connect the other end of the fuse assembly to the ignition switch harness constant +12 volt wire.
NOTE: This wire must be at least 14 ga.
2. Connect the Immobilizer ground wire (labeled "system ground ") to a solid chassis ground.
NOTE: An under-dash, factory ground bolt would be ideal.
3. Insert 5 amp fuse into fuse holder.
Adding/Deleting Coded Keys
1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position.
2. Flick the valet switch to the “ON” position.
3. Turn the ignition key to the “OFF” position.
4. Within 15 seconds, turn the ignition key ON, then OFF 5 times. The LED will flash rapidly to indicate the system is now in the programming mode.
5. Within 10 seconds, insert and remove the new coded key into the under-dash receptacle.
6. Within 10 seconds, insert and remove any additional key you wish to operate the Immobilizer. (You can add up to 4 coded keys to your Immobilizer.)
7. To exit programming, turn the ignition key to the “ON” position or wait 10 seconds and the Immobilizer will automatically exit programming.
8. In the event of a lost or stolen coded key, repeat steps 5 & 6 four times. This will automatically erase the missing coded key from memory.
