Charging your PadFone Station
We strongly recommend that you charge your PadFone Station fully before you use it with your PadFone.
To charge your PadFone Station:
1. Connect the power plug into the USB charger. Ensure that the power plug is attached securely in place.
2. Connect the USB connector into the USB charger’s USB port.
3. Connect the micro USB connector into your PadFone Station.
4. Insert the power plug into a wall socket.
CAUTION! Double-check the connections and ensure that the
power plug is securely attached to the AC Adapter to prevent
overheating and damage to the cables, adapter, or device.
IMPORTANT The 40-pin connector/port is used for charging
your PadFone Station only. It can not be used for transferring
data.
NOTICE
• Use only the power adapter that comes with your device. Using
a different power adapter may damage your device.
• Using the provided USB charger and USB cable to connect
your PadFone Station to a power outlet is the best way to
charge your PadFone Station.
• The input voltage range between the wall outlet and this
adapter is AC 100V - 240V; the output voltage through the
40-pin USB cable is DC 15V, 1.2A.

Inserting your PadFone into the PadFone Station
To insert your PadFone into your PadFone Station:
1. Hold your PadFone Station upside-down then push the latch to open the PadFone bay.

2. Align your PadFone into the PadFone bay sliding track. Orient your PadFone so that it matches the silhouette
guide in the bay.

3. Firmly insert your PadFone into the PadFone Station until the PadFone is secured in place.
NOTE Your PadFone Station briey vibrates when the
connection is secured.

4. Close the PadFone bay door and ensure that the latch rmly locks in place.

After successfully inserting your PadFone into the PadFone Station, Android automatically adjusts the screen
and apps to work on a tablet environment.
If an app was designed for a smaller screen, a zoom control will appear beside the clock.
NOTE: The following screen is for reference only and may appear differently from your device.

Removing your PadFone from the PadFone Station
To remove your PadFone from the PadFone Station:
1. Hold your PadFone Station upside-down then push the bay latch to open the PadFone bay.

2. Push the PadFone bay door up to a ninety-degree (90o) angle until the PadFone detaches completely from the
connectors.
IMPORTANT: Pushing the PadFone bay door up to a
ninety-degree (90o) angle allows the specially designed
push levers to eject the PadFone properly from the
PadFone Station.

WARNING: DO NOT use any tool or your hands to
manually remove the PadFone from the PadFone Station,
to prevent injury to self or damage to the devices.

3. Gently remove the PadFone out (A) then close the PadFone bay door (B).
