Arecont Vision MicroDome® small, ultra low prole IP megapixel
cameras offer our great megapixel technology features like
superior image quality, excellent compression and fast frame
rates. MicroDome® is available in both ush and surface mount
congurations. An innovative spring arm design makes recessed
installation a snap: simply slide the camera through the hole and
secure the magnetized cover ring with a single screw. Excellent low
light performance is accomplished through the use of a mechanical
day/night switcher on all MicroDome® cameras, and by choosing
pixel binning on 3- and 5-megapixel models. Add optional true
Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and difcult lighting conditions are
overcome with MicroDome®.

Flush Mount

MicroDome® incorporates an innovative spring arm design meant
for simple installation into drop ceilings with no external hardware
required. Simply cut a hole in the ceiling and the MicroDome®
pops into place, securing itself with no fasteners to contend with.
The MicroDome® is a total Power over Ethernet (PoE) solution
eliminating the need for separate power cables.

Outdoor-Ready and Vandal-Resistant with MicroDome® Surface Mount

Install the MicroDome
outdoors. Small but tough, the MicroDome® Surface Mount camera is IP66 environmentally-rated and IK-10
impact-resistant. The camera can withstand dust and water ingress as well as forceful blows and still stay on
duty protecting your environment with detailed megapixel images.

MegaDynamic® Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)

Users can achieve clear images in extreme lighting conditions with MicroDome®
True WDR cameras in resolutions of 1080p and 3MP. Wide Dynamic Range up
to 100dB at full resolution balances light and dark areas in the same scene, such
as in the lobby of an ofce building with large windows, or the loading dock at
a distribution facility or in many retail environments.

any time, such as license plates, faces

megapixel cameras, along with the multiple lens options available as accessories
(see lens chart) offer users a variety of elds of view. This makes it possible for the
MicroDome® to do the work of multiple conventional cameras and provide critical
forensic information—all without the need and associated expense of system operators
having to “catch” activities of interest as they occur.

Compliant H.264 Compression

MicroDome’s compliant implementation of H.264 allows full frame rates and full resolution
without sacricing image quality. With bit rate control, the CPU load is decreased at both
the client (decompression) side and the server/storage side, allowing lower bandwidth and
storage relative to MJPEG. Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) allows for compatibility
with media players such as Apple QuickTime®, VLC and others.
