iPhone 4 Dock
Use the iPhone 4 Dock to charge iPhone, sync iPhone with
your computer, and play music on iPhone through external
speakers.
To charge iPhone and sync it with your computer:
1 Connect the dock to a USB 2.0 port on your computer (not
on your keyboard), using the cable that came with iPhone.

2 Put iPhone in the dock.
To charge iPhone using a power adapter (available
separately):
1 Connect the dock to a power adapter, using the cable that
came with either iPhone or the power adapter.
2 Extend the electrical prongs, if necessary, and plug the
adapter into a power outlet.

To play music through external powered speakers:
1 Using an audio cable that has a standard 3.5 millimeter
stereo miniplug, connect the speakers to the Line Out port
on the back of the dock.
2 Put iPhone in the dock, and then play a song.
