Boiler/Building Management Interface (BMI) For
Hydronic and Domestic Hot Water Heating Boilers
FEATURES
NEW BOILER/BUILDING MANAGEMENT INTERFACE (BMI) - Provides
connections for energy management systems and/or boiler sequencing controls and
allows these systems to control the firing rate of all Genesis and VF Boiler models.
WORKS WITH GENESIS STAGE FIRED MODELS AND MODULATING
VF BOILER MODELS -
systems or boiler sequencers to control the stage firing of 2, 3, and 4 stage Genesis
Boilers. When used with modulating VF Boilers the BMI accepts a 0 to 10 volt signal
from energy management systems or boiler sequencers for a fully modulating
system with optimum temperature control and maximum system efficiency.
PROVIDES SMOOTH SYSTEM OPERATION AND PREVENTS BOILER
SHORT CYCLING
systems and/or boiler sequencing controls are used to control the firing rate to
match the heat demand of the facility. By providing access to the firing rate of
the boiler, the energy management systems and/or boiler sequencing controls can
better control the system temperature which helps to prevent boiler short cycling
and provides smoother overall system operation.
Note - Can be ordered with the boiler and factory installed or ordered as a kit for
field upgrade.

1 - 3-stage boilers, or 1 - 4-Stage boiler (Has set point for domestic hot water and
outdoor reset for hydronic heating systems)
9005408105 - tekmar 268 Control - Can manage 9 - on/off boilers, 4 - 2-stage boilers,
3 - 3-stage boilers, or 2 - 4-Stage boilers (Has set point for domestic hot water and
outdoor reset for hydronic heating systems)
9007563005 - tekmar 275 Control - Can manage 1 to 4 modulating boilers with 0 to
10 Volt Signal (Has set point for domestic hot water and outdoor reset for hydronic
heating systems)
Please note that the above listed tekmar controls can all be used for both hydronic heating
and/or domestic hot water heating systems. All three controls include a remote 1/2” tank
temperature probe well to be installed in the hot water storage tank or hydronic heating
return loop for optimum temperature sensing.
