The Telephone Auto Dialer Unit unit(s) shall be
Alpha Communicat ions® / Cornell model TAK-4202, or approved
equal. The TAK-4202 shall be used in conjunct ion with an Alpha
Communications® Emergency- Call (or similar) notificat ion system,
for up to two (2) inputs.

The TAK-4202 shall be a fully programmable auto dialer and digital
announcer, designed for message notification. Once a c ontact
input is detec t ed, t he TAK-4202 shall dial up to eight (8) phone
numbers and play a prerecorded message of up t o one (1) minute
in length.

Low voltage wiring shall be used and positive screw terminal and
plug-in connec tors shall be provided for installation wiring. T he

TAK-4202 shall be mountable right to the surface of the wall or in

a c ustomer-supplied junct ion box cabinet, and shall require a
cust omer supplied external phone line and jack.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

The Alpha Communications® / Cornell TAK-4202 is a fully
programmable auto dialer and digital announcer, designed for
message notification. Once an alarm c ontact is ac tuated, the TAK-

4202 can dial up to eight (8) phone numbers and play a pre-

recorded message up to one (1) minute in length.

Messages can be recorded locally or remot ely. When c onfigured as
an alarm dialer, the TAK-4202 has c all progress det ec tion
capability with normal and fast busy, c all pickup, CPC, and ring-to­answer detection.

Programming can be done with a touc h tone phone, or by using a
PC with a serial port connection and the supplied software. T he

TAK-4202 comes with the required 12VDC plug-in power supply,

and has up to two (2) inputs.
