The intelligent c ontroller(s) shall be Alpha
Communications® / S.T.R.™ model SP300-12K,
or approved equal. The SP300-12K shall be built
into a rugged high impac t ABS plastic case, and
shall be powered by the model NTR211 power
supply. Contractor shall furnish the proper
number of SP300-12K units, depending upon
system c apacity.

Low voltage wiring shall be used and positive
screw terminal and plug-in connec tors shall be
provided for installation wiring. The SP300-12K
shall be mountable right to t he surfac e of the
wall or in a cust omer supplied junct ion box
cabinet.

Contractor shall observe all local and national
elect rical and building codes.

The Alpha Communications® / S.T .R.™ SP300-12K intelligent c ontroller is used only
with the HT3011W ReliaBUS™ series intercom and VH30-2D videointercom systems.
The SP300-12K provides the intelligent 'BUS' c ircuitry needed t o c ontrol
the ReliaBUS™ system func tions.

Each SP300-12K gets its power from the NTR211 power supply. All SP300-12K field
connections are positive sc rew t erminal type, or plug-in type.

For syst ems up to 56 apartments, use 2- SP300-12K units. For systems of 57-88
apartments, use 3- SP300-12K units. For systems of 89-120 apartments, use 4-

SP300-12K units.
