Emergency pull/push station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® /
TekTone SF381 or approved equal. Operation of emergency signals
shall be acc omplished by a short pull of the nylon c ord, or by
pulling/pushing down on the RED lever marked "EMERGENCY".

The red "CALL PLACED" L.E.D. indicator shall flash t o assure the
patient that the call has been placed.

Switc hing mechanism shall consist of a reliable DPDT switch.

The SF381 shall be UL 1069 Listed to the Latest 4t h Edition
Standards.Contrac tor shall observe all local and national elect rical
and building codes.

SF381 Addressable Emergency Pull/Push StationSF381 Addressable Emergency Pull/Push Station

The Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone SF381 may be used in
any area where act ivation of an emergency station is
required, without the need to install another device (suc h as
a multipurpose stat ion or other addressable device). T he SF381 is
designed to be connected directly to the stat ion buss wiring of
either the NC300 or the NC300II syst em. The SF381 includes dome
lamp output, and are addressed using dip switches mounted on the
rear of the SF381.

Due t o the flexibility of its design , t he SF381 may be used as a
PULL CORD EMERGENCY ST ATION, a NON-PULL CORD EMERGENCY
STAT ION, or a STAFF ASSIST EMERGENCY CALL STAT ION. T he pull
cord supplied may be used for emergency call activation or, if so
desired, the LARGE 1.5" Red pull down lever may be used for
'push' ac tivat ion.

The SF381 is typically used with t he NC300 and/or

NC300II systems. The SF381 is not designed for use in a shower or

'moist' environment. The SF381 is designed to be a stand-alone
push/pull cord unit and does not have outputs for additional (non
addressable) push/pull stat ions.
