Presence station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / T ekTone
model SF350B or approved equal. Station(s) shall provide for
specific indications of st aff presence (green for nurse, yellow for
aide), and shall be used to transfer nurse follower from room
locat ion to room location. Depressing nurse presence butt on shall
automatically transfer indicat ion of all subsequent patient calls to
the remote location and master station. Depressing nurse or aide
presence button shall activate lamp(s) on dome light. Reliable,
solid state c omponents shall be used and plug-in connec tors shall
be electrical c onnections.

The SF350B shall be UL 1069 listed t o the latest 4t h Edition
Standards. Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical
and building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone SF350B presence stat ion
provides push button registration of presence of nurse (green lamp
indication), or aide (yellow lamp indication) at remote locat ions.
The nurse/aide presenc e indicator unit can also be used
to transfer the nurse follower feature (on the NC300 and/or

NC300II system) from room location to room location as t he

nursing staff proceeds with rounds. The depression of the nurse
presence registration button automatically transfers indication of
all subsequent patient calls to t he remote locat ion of t he nurse as
well as to the master stat ion. Plug-in connec tors provide for simple
wiring.
