or approved equal. Operation of all
system emergency signals shall
be ac complished by depressing the push
button switc h.

When activated, t he momentary switc h
shall provide a Normally Open or Normally
Closed dry contac t closure. T he switch
shall be mounted on a white plastic
fac eplate, marked 'EMERGENCY' in black
lettering. Faceplate shall be made of
flame retardant White ABS plastic.
Standard mounting screws shall be
provided.

Contractor shall observe all local and
national elect rical and building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® SF154AM momentary push t ype emergency st ation is used to
initiate syst em emergency signals. Signaling an emergency is ac complished by depressing
the momentary push butt on switc h loc ated at the center of the face plate. Once
depressed, a Normally Open or Normally Closed type dry c ontact c losure will be
activated for as long as the button is depressed. T he c all signal would typically be
cancellable at a remote location.
