Communications® SF154A2 or approved
equal.

Operation of all syst em emergency signals
shall be acc omplished by depressing the
push button switc h. When ac t ivated, the
switc h shall turn from Black to Red,
indicating that a c all has been plac ed.
Canceling the call shall be possible only at
the point of origin. The switch shall be
mounted on a white plastic faceplate,
marked 'EMERGENCY' in black lettering.
Fac eplate shall be made of flame
retardant White ABS plastic. Standard
mounting screws shall be provided.
Stat ion shall provide two (2)
separate sets of Form 'C' type c ontact
connections for activation of two (2)
separate signals/devices.

Contractor shall observe all local and
national elect rical and building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® SF154A2 push type emergency stat ion is used to initiate
system emergency signals. Signaling an emergency is accomplished by depressing the
locking push button switch located at the center of the fac eplate to t he "IN" position. In
this position, t he butt on will appear Red. Depressing the push butt on again cancels the c all
and the Red color disappears and turns Black. The signal c annot be cancelled except at t he
point of origin. The SF 154A2 can easily act ivate two (2) separate signals, since it c ontains
two (2) separate Form 'C' type dry cont ac t connec tions.
