SPECIFIC AT IONS

The apartment station(s) shall be Alpha
Communications® (V.I.P.™ series) model

IS407C or approved equal. Station fac eplate

shall be minimum .035" solid st ainless steel.
Momentary ac tion, metal push-butt ons shall
b e provided for TALK, LISTEN and DOOR
funct ions. Button markings shall be right on the
fac eplate. The speaker / microphone shall be a

2.75" (70mm) high-sensitivity t ype with
excellent voice-frequency and tone signaling
response. Color coded pigtails shall be
provided, and required wiring shall be only
three (3) c ommon wires and one (1) selec tive.
(Add 1-c ommon wire for systems with individual
apt. door push- butt ons that need to tone
through t he IS407C stations). Contract or shall
observe all loc al and national electrical and
building codes.

Push Buttons:

Individually replaceable Metal pushbuttons
with self-wiping plated contacts. Identified

TALK, LISTEN and DOOR.

Mounting:

Flush. Pre-punched mounting holes. Use

with IH101 flush mounting box or IH102 flush
mounting ring. Can also be surface mounted
using IH700G surface box.
