Patient station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / T ekTone

IR318B or approved equal. The IR318B shall include solid state

circuitry, a yellow CALL PLACED LED, and a c ombination red IN-
USE indicat or and RESET button. The station shall also include a
6' long spring-loaded washable TPU plastic pull cord. The patient
call latc hing will be ac c omplished by solid-stat e, elect ronic
circuitry. The stat ion shall utilize a 2.50" x 2.50" speaker/
microphone for accurate voice reproduction.

All station components shall be mounted on an attract ive flame
retardant t ype fog white (UL® 94V-0) plastic
fac eplate. Connect ions shall be plug-in be plug-in type.

The IR318B shall be UL® Listed.

Contractor shall follow manufacturer's instructions and shall
observe all local and national electrical and building codes

IR318B Single Pull-Cord Patient StationIR318B Single Pull-Cord Patient Station

The IR318B Single* Pull-Cord Patient Stat ion is for use with the
Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone NC300 / NC300II Nurse Call
Systems. It provides reliable two way hands- free c ommunication
between patient and nurse. Calling the nurse is acc omplished by
pulling the pull-cord. Solid-stat e LEDs on fac eplate indicate
that the call has been placed and the intercom is in use.
