Specifications

Staff Station(s) shall be Alpha Communications®
/ TekTone model IR310E, or approved equal.
Model IR310E shall include LSI/Microprocessor
tec hnology, combination yellow c all-placed
indicator and c all button, combination red in-use
indicator and reset butt on.

The station(s) shall utilize a 2.50" x 2.50"
speaker/microphone for acc urate voice
reproduction. The station shall be field
programmable to emulate a patient stat ion, if so
desired.

All st ation components shall be mounted on
an attractive flame retardant ABS plastic panel,
in fog white color. Connections shall be plug-in
type.

The IR310E shall be UL 1069 to the latest 4th
Edition Standards. Contractor shall observe all
local and national elec trical and building codes.

IR310E Staff Station

The IR310E Staff St ation provides reliable t wo-way, hands- free c ommunication
between the nurse master st ation and utility room, kitc hen, or any location where a
nurse may need t o originate calls or where cord set s are not required. Calls are
placed by use of a momentary push button. Solid-stat e lamps on the panel indicate
that the call has been placed and t hat the interc om is in use. As an additional
feature, the staff station is field programmable function as a patient stat ion, if
desired.
