TekTone model IR155B, or approved equal. Model IR155B shall
include solid-stat e c all placed and intercom in-use indicators a 6­foot-long washable T PU plastic pull cord for c all placement, and a

2.50" speaker / microphone with voice response.

All station components shall be mounted on an at tractive flame
retardant (UL® 94V-0) type fog white plastic fac e plate.
Connect ions shall be plug-in be plug-in type.

The stat ion shall utilize a 2.50" x 2.50" speaker / microphone for
accurate voice reproduction.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building c odes.

The IR155B shall be UL® Listed.

The Alpha Communications® / TekTone IR155B Emergency
Resident Stat ion provides for efficient use of the nursing staff by
permitt ing fast and reliable communic at ion between nurse and
resident.

Calling t he nurse is ac complished by pulling the 6-foot long nylon
pull cord mounted on the stat ion. Call-placed assurance and
intercom operation is indic at ed by reliable solid-stat e LED
indic at ors.

The speaker/microphone is sensitive enough to assure clear
conversations even with weak residents. Calls are cancelled (only
at the point of origin) by simply sliding the RESET switc h to the
'LEFT' position. The fac eplate is constructed of flame-retardant
(UL® 94V-0) plastic
