Architects' & Engineers' Specifications

Staff station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / Tektone IR150B
or approved equal. Stat ion features shall include solid st ate call
placed and intercom in-use indic ators, call button, cancel button,
and 2.50" speaker/microphone with voice response. All functions
shall be provided by solid state circ uitry mounted on a printed
circuit board. The stat ion shall utilize a 2.50" x 2.50" speaker /
microphone for ac curate voice reproduction.

All st ation components shall be mounted on an attractive flame
retardant ABS plastic panel, in fog white color. Connections shall
be plug-in type.

Contract or shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

The IR150B shall be UL 1069 to the latest 4th Edition Standards.

IR150B Staff Station

The Alpha Communicat ions® IR150B Staff Station may be used to
provide communicat ion between the Nurse Call Master Control
Stat ion and utility or examination rooms, kitchen, or any locat ion
needed.

A call button is provided to initiate calls and a reset button to
cancel c alls. A solid stat e c all-placed indicator provides call
assurance. A sensitive speaker microphone permits hands-free
communication. The reliable solid stat e c ircuitry is mounted on
a rugged ABS plastic faceplate in a light texture, fog white color.
