Kurzbeschreibung

Das CK 99 L ist ein professionelles Miniatur-Kon- densator-Ansteckmikrofon mit n ierenförmiger Richtcharakteristik. Auf Grund der kleinen Abmessungen ei gnet sich das Mikrofon i deal f ür a lle Anwendungen, w o unauffällige M ikrofontechnik und große Bewegungsfreiheit der Anwenderin/des Anwenders gefordert werden.

Der Fr equenzgang des Mi krofons is t s peziell auf Sprachübertragung ausgelegt.

Ein e xterner Wind schutz f ür die Dämpfung vo n Windgeräuschen beim Ei nsatz i m F reien i st i m Lieferumfang enthalten.

Das Mikrofon ist mit einem 1,6 m langen Kabel mit verriegelbarem Mi ni-XLR-Stecker zum Anschluss an den Phantomspeiseadapter MPA V L oder AKGTaschensender ausgestattet.

2 Anschluss

Einleitung

Das CK 99 L ist ein Kondensatormikrofon und benötigt daher eine Stromversorgung.

Anschluss mittels MPA V L
Siehe Abb. 1.
1. Stecken Sie den	Mini-XLR-Stecker (1 ) am
Mikrofonkabel bis z um Anschlag in die Mini-
XLR-Kupplung (2)	a m A nschlusskabel des
MPA V L (3).

Der Stecker (1) verriegelt sich automatisch. Zum Abziehen des Kabels drücken Sie auf den Entriegelungsknopf a m Mini X LR-Stecker (1)

2.Stecken Sie den MPA V L (3) a n einen symmetrischen XL R-Mikrofoneingang m it P hantomspeisung an.

3.Schalten Sie die Phantomspeisung ein. (Lesen Sie dazu in der Betriebsanleitung des jeweiligen Gerätes nach.)

3 Anwendung

Einleitung

Der große Vorteil eines an der Kleidung befestigten Mikrofons besteht darin, dass die Bewegungsfreiheit der Anwenderin/des Anwenders erhalten und die Hände frei bleiben.

Hinweis: Je geringer der Abstand zwischen dem Mikrofon und der Schallquelle, umso geringer ist die Gefahr akustischer Rückkopplungen.

• Wenn sich d er Mu nd a ußerhalb des Aufnahmewinkels des Mikro fons befindet, sinkt der Ausgangspegel des Mikrofons stark ab.

4 Reinigung

•Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse des Mikrofons mit einem mit Wasserbefeuchteten Tuch.

Brief Description

The CK 99 L is a professional miniature condenser clip-on microphone with a cardioid po lar pattern. Owing to its small size, the CK 99 L is an ideal choice for use in any situation requiring an inconspicuous mi crophone and maximum mobility fo r the user.

The microphone’s f requency response has been designed specifically for speech reproduction.

An external wi ndscreen supplied w ith t he mi crophone reduces wind noise when using the microphone on an open-air stage.

The microphone is fitted with a 1.6-m (5 ft. 3 i n.) cable wi th a locking mi ni XLR connector f or use

with the MPA V L phantom power adapter or AKG bodypack transmitters.

2 Interfacing

Introduction

The CK 99 L i s a condenser microphone a nd therefore needs a power supply.

Important: Using any power supply other than those recommended by AKG may damage your microphone and will void the warranty.

Connecting via MPA V LRefer to fig. 1.

1.Push the mini XLR connector (1) on the microphone c able al l the w ay in to t he mi ni XL R socket (2) on the cable of the MPA V L (3).

The connector will lock automatically.

To disconnect the cable, press the unlocking button on the mini XLR connector (1) and pull the connector(1) out of the socket (2).

Important: To avoid damaging the cable, never try to pull out the cable itself!

Connecting to a Bodypack Transmitter

•Refer to the manual of your bodypack transmitter.

3 Use

Introduction

The principal benefit of a m icrophone attached to the user 's clothes is that the microphone al lows the use r to m ove a bout fre ely a nd keeps thei r hands free.

Operating Notes

1.Insert the microphone into the fixing clamp on the supplied attachment clip.

2. Attach the microphone to the talker's clothes, e.g., on t he l apel, placing it as close as possible t o t he t alker's mouth.

Note: The smaller the distance between the microphone and the sound source, the higher the usable gain before feedback.

3.Ask the user not to turn their head more than 30 degrees t o the le ft o r right while t alking. (Refer to fig. 4.)

•Talking outside the pickup angle of the microphone will r educe t he microphone’s o utput level considerably.

•To clean the microphone case, use a soft cloth moistened with water.
