ADC Compact Uro / Tomo Application
Software
ADC Compact Uro / Tomo Application Software is a
comprehensive group of MUSICA processing parameter
settings optimized for urography and tomography examinations.
It brings to these two areas all the ADC Compact system’s
advantages in terms of visualization and diagnosis.
The Uro examinations are divided into two groups: with and
without contrast.

For each main Tomo examination, one main Tomo menu has
been created which supports all sub-examinations.

Uro examinations are performed at a 200-speed class. Tomo
examinations on the other hand are performed at a 100-speed
class for extremities and a 300-speed class for non-extremities.

The MUSICA image processing enables more information to be
visualized in some parts of the image. By contrast with
conventional Uro images, in which the sides tend to be very
dark, MUSICA offers a gradated effect. MUSICA processing
further enhances contrast, making it easier for the radiologist to
trace stones and see the kidneys and urethra (Uro/Tomo). Prerelease trials concluded that the Uro/Tomo software applications
offered overall image quality and evaluation superior to those
offered by conventional film/screen systems.
The Uro/Tomo parameter sets are available as a single software
package.
Installation, including one day of application support, can be
carried out as soon as the customer has received his licence
number.
