AEMC® MEGOHMMETER CALIBRATION CHECKER
The Megohmmeter Calibration Checker (Cat. #5000.66) provides a quick and simple way to check the measurement accuracy of your megohmmeter.
The unit provides two test resistances of 150kΩ and 100MΩ.
NOTE: The 150kΩ terminal accepts test voltages up to 1000V. The 100MΩ terminal accepts voltages up to 2500V.
The Megohmmeter Calibration Checker (Cat. #5000.66) provides a quick and simple way to check the measurement accuracy of your megohmmeter.
The unit provides two test resistances of 150kΩ and 100MΩ.

To use the Calibration Checker:
1. Using the leads supplied with your megohmmeter, connect the black
terminal to its positive terminal.
2. Turn the megohmmeter’s dial to the kΩ setting and perform a test, as instructed by the instrument’s user manual. The resistance reading appears on the instrument’s LCD.
3. Check the reading. This should fall within the range of 150kΩ plus
or minus the megohmmeter’s accuracy value specified in the user manual.

4. Disconnect the lead from the 150kΩ terminal and insert it into the 100MΩ terminal.

5. Turn the megohmmeter’s dial to a setting. (Any voltage setting at
or below 2500V will work.)
6. Perform a test. The reading should be 100MΩ, plus or minus the
instrument’s accuracy value.
