Sicherheit

• Das Gerät darf von Kindern und Personen, deren physische, sensorische oder geistige Fähigkeiten sowie Mangel an Erfahrung und Kenntnissen einen sicheren Gebrauch des Gerätes ausschließen, nur unter Aufsicht oder nach entsprechender Einweisung durch eine Person benutzt werden, die sicherstellt, dass sie sich den Gefahren des Gebrauchs bewusst sind.

Kinder sind zu beaufsichtigen, sodass sie nicht am Gerät spielen können.

Störungen-Kundendienst

• Sollte die Installation des Gerätes eine Änderung der elektrischen Hausinstallation verlangen, so darf diese nur von Elektro-Fachkräften durchgeführt werden.

• Eventuelle Reparaturen dürfen nur von einem Kundendienst oder sonstigen autorisierten Stellen durchgeführt werden.

• Es ist wichtig, daß nur OriginalErsatzteile verwendet werden.

• Dieses Gerät enthält im Kältekreislauf Kohlenwasserstoff. Aus diesem Grund darf die Wartung und das Nachfiillen ausschließlich von autorisiertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.

• Benutzen Sie nie Metallgegenstände um das Gerät zu reinigen, da es beschädigt werden könnte.

• Tritt eine Störung oder ein Defekt ein, versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren. Elektrogeräte dürfen nur von Elektro-Fachkräften repariert werden, da durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen erhebliche Folgeschäden entstehen können. Wenden Sie sich bitte an die nächste Kundendienststelle.

Gebrauch

• Die Haushaltskühl- und Gefriergeräte sind nur zur Einlagerung bzw. zum Einfrieren von Nahrungsmitteln bestimmt.

• Die beste Leistung erzielt man bei

Raumtemperaturen von +18°C bis +43°C (Klasse T); +18°C bis +38°C (Klasse ST); +16°C bis +32°C (Klasse N); +10°C bis +32°C (Klasse SN); die Geräteklasse ist auf dem Typschild angegeben.

Zu beachten: Wird dieses Gerätes bei anderen Umgebungstemperaturen betrieben als den in der entsprechenden Klimaklasse angegebenen Werten, sind folgende Hinweise zu beachten: sinkt die Umgebungstemperatur unter den angegebenen Mindestwert ab, könnte die Lagertemperatur im Gefrierabteil nicht mehr garantiert sein; es wird daher empfohlen, die eingelagerten Lebensmittel so rasch als möglich zu verbrauchen.

• Einaufgetautes Produkt darf nicht wieder eingefroren werden.

• Für das Aufbewahren bzw. das Einfrieren der Lebensmittel sind die Anweisungen des Herstellers zu befolgen.

• In allen Kühl- und Gefriergeräten bedecken sich im Laufe der Zeit alle kälteführenden Teile mit einer Reif bzw. Eissicht. Diese Schicht wird je nach Modell automatisch oder mit der Hand abgetaut.

• Die Reifsicht niemals mit Metallgegenständen abkratzen, das Gerät könnte beschädigt werden. Dazu nur den mitgelieferten Plastikschaber verwenden.

• Zum Lösen der festgefrorenen Eisschalen keine scharfkantigen oder spitzn Gegenstände benutzen.

• Es ist empfehlt, keine kohlensäurehaltigen Getränke in das Gefrier- bzw. Frosterfach für lange Zeit einzustellen: der Getränke-Behälter könntet sich brechen.

Aufstellung

• Sich vergewissern, daß das Gerät nach der Installation nicht auf dem Netzkabel steht.

Wichtig:

Beschädigte Versorgungskabel müssen durch ein Spezialkabel bzw. einen Spezialsatz ersetzt werden, die beim Hersteller oder den Kundendienststellen erhältlich sind.

• Während das Gerät in Betrieb ist, werden der Verflüssiger und der Kompressor, die sich auf der Rückseite des Gerätes befinden, heiß. Es ist darauf zuachten, dass die Luft um das Gerät frei zirkulieren kann, damit die Wärme abgeführt werden kann. Eine ungenügende Luftzirkulation kann einen unregelmässigen Betrieb bzw. Schäden am Gerät verursachen. Achten Sie auf die Installationsanweisungen.

• Teile, die heiß werden (z.B. Kompressorgehäuse, Verflüssiger und zugehörige Rohre), sollen nicht frei zugänglich sein. Wo es auch immer möglich ist, soll das Gerät mit der Rückseite gegen eine Wand gestellt werden.

Umweltnormen

Reinigung der Innenteile

Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, beseitigen Sie den typischen «Neugeruch» am besten durch Auswaschen der Innenteile mit lauwarmem Wasser und einem neutralen Reinigungsmittel.Sorgfältig nachtrocknen.

Bitte kkeine RReinigungs- bbzw. Scheuermittel vverwenden, ddie das GGerät bbeschädigen kkönnten.

GEBRAUCH

Während des Transports kann es vorkommen, daß das im Motorkompressor enthaltene Öl in den Kältekreislauf abläuft. Man sollte mindestens 2 Std. warten, bevor das Gerät in Betrieb genommen wird, damit das Öl in den Kompressor zurückströmen kann.

Erste Betrieb

Falls nach dem Inserieren des Steckers in die Stromsteckdose das Display nicht beleuchtet ist, die Taste (A) zum Einschalten des Gerätes drücken.

Es empfiehlt sich, um eine korrekte Erhaltung der Speisen zu garantieren, die Eco Mode Funktion zu aktivieren und das Gerät kann die folgende Temperatur angeben:

ca. +5°C im Kühlschrank

• Um eine andere Temperatur einzustellen siehe “Temperaturregelung”.

Wichtig

Wenn die Tür mehr als 7 Minuten offen bleibt, schaltet die Innenbeleuchtung automatisch aus , danach wird durch das Schliessen und die Öffnung der Tür die Funktion deaktiviert.

Gerät abschalten

Wird die Taste “A” für mehr als 1 sec. gedrückt , schaltet sich das Gerät ab. Dabei wird statt der Temperatur ein “Count -down” -3 - 2 - 1 angezeigt.

Temperaturregelung

Die Temperatur im Gerät kann durch Druck auf die Taste (B) gewählt werden.

Durch Druck auf die Taste (B) zeigt die Temperaturanzeige blinkend die eingestellte Temperatur. Sie können die eingestellte Temperatur bestätigen, indem Sie die Taste (E) drücken (es ertönt ein Ton) oder einige Sekunden warten (es ertönt kein Ton).

Die eingestellte Temperatur muss innerhalb 24 Stunden erreicht werden. Nach einen langen Stillstand des Gerätes ist es nicht nötig die Temperatur wieder einzustellen, da sie gespeichert bleibt.

Achtung

Bei Inbetriebnahme des Geräts stimmt während der Einlauf- und Stabilisierungs-Phase die Temperaturanzeige nicht mit der gewählten Temperatur überein. In dieser Zeit sind auch veschiedenere Anzeigen als der gewählte Wert möglich.

Funktionen Menu

Bei jedem Drücken der Taste D aktivieren sich die verschiedene Funktionen. Jede Funktion muss durch Taste E bestätigt werden. Falls es keine Bestätigung nach wenige Sekunden gibt, geht das Display aus und das Menükann normal bedient werden.

Funktion Raumtemperatur

Die Funktion Raumteperatur wird durch Drücken der Taste D (falls nötig mehrmals) aktiviert, bis das

entsprechende Bildsymbol sichtbar wird. Unter dieser Bedingung ist die angezeigte Temperatur die Raumtemperatur. Bestätigung der Wahl durch Drücken der Taste E innerhalb wenigen Sekunden. Ein Warnton ist zu hören und das dementsprechende Symbol leuchtet weiter. Die Funktion kann in jedem Moment durch Drücken der Taste D bis das dementsprechende Symbol blinkt, abgestellt werden, dann die Taste E drücken.

Funktion Child Lock

Die Funktion Child Lock wird durch Drücken der Taste D (falls nötig mehrmals) aktiviert, bis das

entsprechende Bildsymbol sichtbar wird. Bestätigung der Wahl durch Drücken der Taste E innerhalb weniger Sekunden. Ein Warnton ist zu hören und das dementsprechende Symbol leuchtet weiter. Unter dieser Bedingung, solange diese Funktion aktiv ist, haben daher eventuelle Verstellungen der Tasten keine Auswirkung. Die Funktion kann in jedem Moment durch Drücken der Taste D bis das dementsprechende Symbol blinkt, abgestellt werden, dann die Taste E drücken.

Funktion Shopping

Soll eine grössere Menge warmer Lebensmittel, zum Beispiel nach dem Einkaufen, untergebracht werden, empfiehlt es sich, die Funktion Shopping zu aktivieren, um sie schneller zu kühlen und einen Temperaturanstieg der bereits im Kühlschrank befindlichen Speisen zu vermeiden. Die Funktion Shopping wird durch Drücken der Taste D (falls nötig mehrmals) aktiviert, bis das

entsprechende Bildsymbol erscheint. Bestätigung der Wahl durch Drücken der Taste E innerhalb weniger Sekunden. Ein Warnton ist zu hören und das dementsprechende Symbol bleibt eingeschaltet. Nach ca. 6 Stunden schaltet sich die Funktion Shopping automatisch ab. Die Funktion kann in jedem Moment durch Drücken der Taste D bis das dementsprechende Symbol blinkt, abgestellt werden und dann die Taste E drücken.

Funktion Eco Mode

Die Funktion Eco Mode wird entweder durch Drücken der Taste D (falls nötig mehrmals) aktiviert, bis das

entsprechende Bildsymbol (Alternativ dazu können Sie auch die Temperatur auf + 5°C einstellen). Bestätigung der Wahl durch Drücken der Taste E innerhalb weniger Sekunden. Ein Bestätigungston ist zu hören und das dementsprechende Symbol bleibt eingeschaltet.

Unter dieser Bedingung die gewählten Temperaturen stellen sich automatisch (+5°C), auf die optimalsten Bedingungen zur Lebensmittelkonservierung ein. Die Funktion kann in jedem Moment durch Anderung der Temperatur im jeweiligen Fach abgeschaltet werden.

Gebrauch des Kühlschrankes

Die Temperatur dieses Faches kann zwischen + 2°C und + 8°C eingestellt werden. Im Normalbetrieb wird im Display die innere Temperatur des Kühlraumes angezeigt.

Achtung

Zu häufiges Öffnen oder zu langes Offenhalten der Türe kann zu Temperaturschwankungen führen. Abweichungen können auch durch eine zu große Menge an neu eingelagerten warmen Lebensmitteln verursacht werden.

Funktion Holiday “H”

Bei der Funktion Holiday beträgt die Temperaturvorgabe für den Kühlraum + 15 °C. Sie haben dadurch die Möglichkeit ohne dass es zu einer Geruchs- oder Schimmelbildung kommt - bei längerer Abwesenheit ( z. B. Urlaub) den leeren Kühlraum statt offen auch geschlossen zu halten. Vorteil: Unbeabsichtigtes Zufallen der Tür bzw. versehentliches Zudrücken der Tür durch Personen, die während Ihrer Abwesenheit Zutritt zu Ihren Wohnräumen haben, ist nicht mehr

möglich. Ohne die Urlaubsschaltung würde dies Geruchs- und Schimmelbildung zur Folge haben. Die Funktion Holiday H kann durch Drücken der Taste (B) eingestellt werden. Dadurch blinkt die aktuell eingestellte Temperatur am Display. Drücken Sie die Taste (B) erneut. Wenn auf dem Display der Buchstabe H angezeigt wird, können Sie die eingestellte Temperatur entweder durch Drücken der Taste (E) bestätigen (es ertönt ein Ton) oder einige Sekunden warten (es ertönt kein Ton) Jetzt befindet sich der Kühlschrank im Urlaubsbetrieb mit Energiesparmodus, und am Display wird "H" angezeigt. Diese Funktion kann zu jeder Zeit durch Ändern der Temperatur im entsprechenden Fach abgeschaltet werden.

Wichtig! Der Kühlraum muss mit H Funktion leer sein.

Hinweise zum richtigen Kühlen von Lebensmitteln und Getränken

Um die besten Leistungen des Kühlschrankes zu erreichen, beachten Sie bitte folgendes:

• Keine warmen Speisen oder

dampfenden Flüssigkeiten in den Kühlschrank einstellen.

• Geruchverbreitende Lebensmittel

müssen abgedeckt oder eingewickelt werden.

• Die Lebensmittel müssen so

eingelagert werden, daß die Kälte um sie frei zirkulieren kann.

Höhenverstellbare Abstellregale

Der Abstand zwischen den verschiedenen Abstellregalen kann je nach Wunsch geändert werden. Dazu die Regale herausnehmen und auf das gewünschte Niveau einsetzen.

Flaschenablage

Flaschen mit dem Flaschenhals nach vorne in die Ablage legen. Achtung: N ur ungeöffnete Flaschen waagrecht lagern.

Zur Lagerung angebrochener Flaschen kann die Flaschenablage schräggestellt werden. Dazu die Flaschenablage soweit nach vorne ziehen, bis sie sich nach oben abschwenken läßt, und dann die vordere Auflage in die nächsthöhere Ebene einschieben.

Höhenverstellung der Innentürablagen

Zur Einlagerung von LebensmittelPackungen verschiedener Größe, sind die Abstellregale der Innentür höhenverstellbar. Hierzu wie folgt vorgehen: das Abstellregal stufenweise in Pfeilrichtung drücken bis es frei wird; dann in der gewünschten Höhe wieder anbringen.

Tips für das Kühlen

Nachstehend einige praktische Ratschläge: Fleisch (alle Sorten) in Plastikfolie einpacken und auf die Glasplatte, die sich über der Gemüseschale (über den Gemüseschalen) befindet, legen.

In ddieser LLage kkann ddas FFleisch längstens 11-22 TTage aaufbewahrt werden. Gekochte NNahrungsmittel, kkalte Platten, uusw.

zugedeckt aufbewahren. Sie können auf jeden beliebigen Rost gelegt werden.

Obst uund GGemüse:

nach vorherigem Säubern und Waschen in der Gemüseschale (in den Gemüseschalen) aufbewahren.

Butter uund KKäse:

in speziellen Behältern aufbe-wahren oder in Alubzw. Plastikfolie einpacken, um den Kontakt mit der Luft zu vermeiden.

Milch iin FFlaschen:

gut verschlossen auf

die Konsol der Innentür stellen. Wenn BBananen, KKartoffeln, ZZwiebeln

und KKnoblauch nnicht vverpackt ssind, sollen ssie nnicht iin dden KKühlschrank gegeben wwerden.

Luftzirkulation

Im Gerät befindet sich ein Ventilator, der durch Drücken des Schalter eingeschaltet wird. Die nebende Kontrollampe leuchtet auf. Der Einsatz des Ventilators wird empfohlen, wenn die Raumtemperatur höher ist als 25 °C. Dies Funktion erlaubt eine schnelle Abkühlung des Lebensmittels und eine bessere Gleichförmigkeit der innere Temperatur.

Kältefach

Das Gerät ist mit diesem Fach ausgestattet, das für eine beste Lagerung von frischen Lebensmitteln wie Fisch, Fleisch, Meerfrüchte usw. geeignet ist. Dies Fach ist im unteren Teil direkt über der Gemüseschale positioniert.

Regelmäßige Reinigung

Viele sspezifisch ffür ddie RReinigung vvon Küchenoberflächen eerhältliche MMittel enthalten cchemische SSubstanzen, ddie die KKunststoffteile ddieses GGeräts angreifen bbzw. bbeschädigen kkönnen. Aus ddiesem GGrund iist ees empfehlenswert, ddas GGerät aaußen nnur mit wwarmem WWasser uund eetwas flüssigem TTellerspülmittel zzu rreinigen. Benutzen Sie nie Metallgegenstände um das Gerät zu reinigen, da es beschädigt werden könnte. Den Innenraum mit lauwarmem Wasser und Natron und die lackierten Teile mit einem Poliermittel reinigen. Gut nachwaschen und sorgfältig trocknen. Den Kondensator und den Motorkompressor mit einer Bürste oder einem Staubsauger reinigen. Dies begünstigt den guten Betrieb mit folglicher Stromersparnis.

Stillstandszeiten

Bei längerem Stillstand des Gerätes, müssen Sie folgendermaßen vorgehen:

• den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen;

• alle Lebensmittel herausnehmen;

• Gerät abtauen, Innenraum und Zubehörteile reinigen; die Türen offen lassen, um im Innern eine gute Luftzirkulation zu gewährleisten und somit Geruchsbildung zu vermeiden.

Innenlampe

Um die Lampe su wechseln, drücken die hintere Kupplung und gleichzeitig nehmen die Abdeckung in der PfeilRichtung heraus.

Ersetzen ddurch eeine nneue BBirne gleicher LLeistung ((die mmaximale Leistung iist aam LLeuchtkörper angegeben).

Abtauen

Eine Abweichung von ±6% von der Nominalspannung ist zulässig. Für die Anpassung des Gerätes an andere Spannungen muß ein Spartransformator angemessener Leistung vorgeschaltet werden.

INSTALLATION Austellung

Das Gerät sollte nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen wie Heizkörpern oder Öfen aufgestellt und vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt werden. Aus Gründen der Sicherheit muß eine Mindestbelüftung gesichert sein, wie aus der Abb. hervorgeht. Anordnung des Gerätes unter den Oberschränken der Küche. Achtung Die VVentilations - ÖÖffnungen

müssen iimmer ssaubergehalten wwerden. Die Nivellierung erfolgt durch Drehen

Bevor Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose einstecken, überprüfen Sie bitte, daß die auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes angegebene Spannung sowie Frequenz mit dem Anschlußwert des Hauses übereinstimmen.

Hintere Abstandsstücke

Im Gerät sind 2 Distanzstücke enthalten, die wie in der Abbildung gezeigt angebracht werden müssen.

Lösen Sie dazu etwas die Schrauben der Gehäuseabdeckung. Schieben Sie das Distanzstück unter den Schraubenkopf und ziehen Sie die Schraube wieder fest.

Transportsicherungen

Ihr Gerät ist mit Transportsicherungen versehen, die die Ablage während des Transportes sichern. Entfernen Sie diese wie folgt: Die Transportsicherungen zunächst entlang der Glasplattenkante so weit wie möglich nach vorne ziehen . Glasplatte hinten hochheben, in Pfeilrichtung ziehen bis sie vorne aus den Führungen freikommt und die Sicherungsteile entnommen werden können .

• Lösen Sie die Schraube der

Scharnierabdeckung (a) .

• Lösen Sie das obere Scharnier und

entfernern es (b).

• Lösen Sie die Schraube und

entfernen Sie den Türstopper. (c).

• Entfernen Sie die Türe.

• Mit einem Werkzeug entfernen Sie die

Abdeckung (e). Lösen Sie den Pin vom unteren Scharnier (f) und schrauben Sie ihn auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite wieder fest.

• Setzen Sie die Abdeckung (e) auf

der gegenüber- liegenden Seite wieder ein.

Türanschlag wechseln

Der Türanschlag kann von rechts (Lieferzustand) nach links gewechselt werden, falls der Aufstellort dies erfordert.

Warnung!

Während des Türanschlagwechsels darf das Gerät nicht am Stromnetz angeschlossen sein. Vorher Netzstecker ziehen.

Die folgenden Handlungsschritte sollten unter Mithilfe einer zweiten Person zum Anhalten der Türe durchgeführt werden.

• Öffnen Sie die Türe am aufrecht stehenden Gerät.

• Lösen Sie die Schrauben und entfernen die obere Kunststoffabdeckung.

• Lösen Sie die Bauteile (d) und befestigen Sie diese auf der gegenüberliegender Seite.

• Lösen Sie die Abdeckung und befestigen sie diese auf der gegenüberliegender Seite

• Legen Sie das Gerät auf die Geräterückseite.

• Tür wieder einsetzen.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Türe parallel zur Topabdeckung verläuft.

• Befestigen Sie den Türstopper auf der gegenüber- liegenden Seite.

• Positionieren und befestigen Sie das obere Scharnier, das Sie in der Verpackung der Gebrauchsanweisung finden, auf der gegenüber- liegenden Seite.

• Befestigen Sie die Schraube der neuen Scharnierabdeckung (die in der Verpackung der Gebrauchsanwidung finden).

• Stellen sie das Gerät wieder in die aufrechte Position.

• Öffnen Sie die Türe und befestigen Sie die Kunststoffabdeckung der oberen Türe mit den Schrauben.

• Befestigen Sie die Türgriffe auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite. Setzen Sie die Kunststoffabdeckungen, die Sie in der Verpackung der Gebrauchsanweisung finden, in die Löcher der ürsprünglichen Griffbefestigung.

Gerät in Position bringen,

ausrichten, warten mindestens 2 Std. bevor das Gerät in Betrieb genommen wird. Ans Stromnetz anschließen.

Falls Sie den Türanschlagwechsel nicht selbst durchführen möchten, verständigen Sie bitte den Kundendienst. Der Kundendienst führt dann den Türanschlagwechsel auf Ihre Kosten aus.

Service/Réparation

• Une éventuelle modification à l’installation électrique de votre maison qui devait être néces-saire pour l’installation de l’appareil ne devra être effectuée que par du personnel qualifié.

• Il est dangereux de modifier ou d’essayer de modifier les caractéristiques de cet appareil.

• Cet appareil contient des hydrocarbures dans son circuit de réfrigérant; I’entretien et la recharge ne doivent donc être effectués que par du personnel autorisé.

• En cas de panne, n’essayez pas de réparer l’appareil vous-même. Les réparations effectuées par du personnel non qualifié peuvent provoquer des dommages. Contactez le Service Après-Vente le plus proche et n’exigez que des pièces détachées originales.

Utilisation

• Les réfrigérateurs et/ou congélateurs ménagers sont destinés uniquement à la conservation et/ou congélation des aliments et des boissons.

• Pour le bon fonctionnement de votre appareil, la température ambiante du local doit être comprise entre +18°C et +43°C (Classe T); +18°C et +38°C (Classe ST); +16°C et +32°C (Classe N); +10°C et +32°C (Classe SN); La classe d’appartenance est indiquée sur la plaque signalétique.

ATTENTION:

En dehors des températures ambiantes indiquées par la classe climatique d’appartenance de ce produit, il est obligatoire de respecter les indications suivantes: lorsque la température ambiante descend sous la valeur minimum, la température de conservation du compartiment congélateur peut ne pas être garantie; il est donc conseillé de consommer les produits que ce dernier contient au plus vite.

• Un produit décongelé ne doit jamais être recongelé.

• Suivez les indications du fabricant pour la conservation et/ou congélation des aliments.

• Dans tous les appareils de réfrigération et congélation il y a des surfaces qui se couvrent de givre. Suivant le modèle, ce givre peut être éliminé automatiquement (dégivrage automatique) ou bien manuellement.

• N’essayez jamais d’enlever le givre avec un objet métallique, vous risqueriez d’endommager irréparablement l’évaporateur. N’employez pour cela que la spatule en plastique livrée avec l’appareil.

• De même, ne décollez jamais les bacs à glace avec un couteau ou tout autre objet tranchant.

• Ne placez ni bouteilles ni boîtes de boissons gazeuses dans le congélateur/compartiment à basse température, elles pourraient exploser.

Installation

• Assurez-vous, après avoir installé l’appareil, que celuici ne repose pas sur le câble d’alimentation.

Important: en cas de dommage au câble d’alimentation, il faudra le remplacer avec un câble spécial ou un ensemble disponibles chez le fabricant ou le service technique après-vente.

• L’appareil se réchauffe sensibilment au niveau du condenseur et du compresseur. Veillez à ce que l’air circule librement tout autour de l’appareil. Une ventilation insuffisante entraìnerait un mauvais fonctionnement et des dommages sur l’appareil. Suivez les instructions données pour l’installation.

• A cause du système de transport, l’huile contenue dans le compresseur pourrait s’écouler dans le circuit réfrigérant. Attendez 2 heures au moins avant de brancher l’appareil pour permettre à l’huile de refluer dans le compresseur.

A la première mise en service

Après avoir branché l'appareil, si l'afficheur ne s'illumine pas, appuyez sur la touche (A), de mise en

marche de l'appareil. Pour une conservation correcte des aliments sélectionnez la fonction Eco Mode et l' appareil sera prédisposé pour fournir la température suivante :

environ +5°C dans le compartiment réfrigérateur.

• Pour sélectionner une température différente voir "Réglage de la température".

Important Si au bout de 7 minutes la porte du compartiment réfrigérateur n'est toujours pas fermée, l'ampoule d'éclairage s'éteint automatiquement. Elle s'allume de nouveau à la prochaine ouverture de porte.

Arrêt de l’appareil

L'arrêt de l'appareil s'obtient en appuyant sur la touche (A) pendant plus d'1 seconde. Après quoi l'affichage indique un décompte de 3-2-1.

Réglage de la témpérature

La température peut être réglée en appuyant sur la touche (B).

En appuyant sur la touche (B), la température interne clignote sur l'afficheur.

Pour confirmer le choix de la température, pressez soit la touche E (vous entendrez le signal sonore), soit attendez quelques secondes (vous n'entendrez pas le signal sonore). L'afficheur inique ensuite à nouveau la température interne du compartiment. La température programmée est atteinte au bout de 24 heures. Cette température reste mémorisée même après une longue période de non utilisation de l'appareil. Il n'est alors pas nécessaire de sélectionner à nouveau une température.

Attention! Pandant la phase de stabilisation après la première mise en service, il est possible que la température affichée ne corresponde pas à la température programmée, la température affichée pouvant en l'occurrence être différente de la température programmée.

Menu des fonctions

A chaque pression sur la touche de fonction D, les fonctions s'activent. Chaque sélection de fonction doit être confirmée en appuyant sur la touche E. Si la sélection de fonction n'est pas confirmée dans les quelques secondes qui suivent l'affichage reprend son aspect initial. Les fonctions suivantes sont indiquées:

Fonction Température Ambiante

Appuyez sur la touche D (à plusieurs reprises si nécessaire) pour activer cette fonction jusqu'à ce que le

symbole correspondant apparaisse . Dans ces conditions, la température affichée est la température ambiante. Appuyez sur la touche E dans les quelques secondes qui suivent pour confirmer la sélection. Un signal sonore retentit et le symbole correspondant reste allumé. Vous pouvez désactiver cette function à tout moment en appuyant sur la touche D jusqu'à ce que le symbole correspondant clignote et ensuite sur la touche E pour confirmer.

Fonction Child Lock

Appuyez sur la touche D (à plusieurs reprises si nécessaire) pour activer cette function jusqu'à ce que le

symbole correspondant apparaisse . Appuyez sur la touche E dans les quelques secondes qui suivent pour confirmer la sélection. Un signal sonore retentit et le symbole correspondant reste allumé. Tant que cette fonction est activée, aucune modification n'est possible lorsque l'on appuie sur l'une des touches. Vous pouvez désactiver cette fonction à tout moment en appuyant sur la touche D jusqu'à ce que le symbole correspondant clignote et ensuite sur la touche E pour confirmer.

Fonction Shopping

La fonction Shopping sert à refroidir rapidement de grande quantité d'aliments à conserver dans le réfrigérateur, après avoir fait de gros achats par exemple.

Pour activer la fonction Shopping, appuyez sur la touche D (à plusieurs reprises si nécessaire) jusqu'à ce que

apparaisse le symbole dans l'afficheur. On doit confirmer en appuyant sur la touche E dans quelques seconds. Un signal sonore retentit et le symbole correspondant est allumé. Cette fonction se désactive automatiquement au bout de 6 heures et le symbole correspondant disparaît. Il est également possible de désactiver à tout moment cette fonction manuellement. Pour cela, appuyez sur la touche D jusqu'à ce que le symbole correspondant clignote et ensuite sur la touche E pour confirmer.

Fonction Eco Mode

Appuyez sur la touche D (à plusieurs reprises si nécessaire) pour activer cette fonction jusqu'à ce que le

symbole correspondant apparaisse (ou réglez la température sur +5°C). Appuyez sur la touche E dans les quelques secondes qui suivent pour confirmer la sélection. Un signal sonore retentit et le symbole correspondant reste allumé. Tant que cette fonction est activée, les températures programmées sont automatiquement sélectionnées (+5°C)

et garantissent des conditions optimales pour la conservation des aliments. Vous pouvez désactiver cette fonction à tout moment en modifiant la température sélectionnée dans l'un des compartiments. Il est possible de désactiver la fonction à tout moment en modifiant la température sélectionnée à l'intérieur du compartiment.

Utilisation du compartiment réfrigérateur

La température peut être réglée entre +2°C et +8°C. Pendant le fonctionnement normal l'afficheur indique la température à l'intérieur du réfrigérateur.

Attention! Un écart entre la température affichée et la température programmée est normal, en particulier lorsque:

• la température programmée a été

modifiée depuis peu,

• la porte du réfrigérateur est restée

ouverte pendant un certain temps,

• des aliments chauds ont été placés

dans le réfrigérateur.

Fonction Holiday “H”

Avec la fonction Holiday, la température nominalede fonctionnement du compartiment réfrigérateur est de + 15 °C. Ceci permet de laisser le réfrigérateur vide, fermé au lieu de l'ouvrir en cas d'absence prolongée (par ex. pendant les vacances), sans qu'il ne

se forme d'odeurs ou de moisissures. La Fonction Holiday "H" peut être réglée en pressant la touche B. En pressant la touche B, le réglage actuel de la température clignote sur l'afficheur. Pressez à nouveau la touche B. Lorsque la lettre H apparaît, le choix de la température peut être confirmé soit en pressant la touche E (vous entendrez un signal sonore), soit en attendant quelques secondes (vous n'entendrez pas de signal sonore). A présent, le réfrigérateur est réglé sur la fonction Holiday en mode d'économie d'énergie. L'afficheur indique la lettre H. Il est possible de désactiver la fonction à tout moment en modifiant la température sélectionnée à l'intérieur du compartiment.

Réfrigération

Pour obtenir le meilleur rendement du compartiment réfrigérateur:

• n’introduisez pas d’aliments encore

chauds ou de liquides en évaporation dans la cuve;

• couvrez les aliments, surtout s’ils

sont aromatiques;

• placez les denrées de façon à ce

que l'air puisse circuler tout autour.

Tablettes amovibles

Les glissières se trouvant sur les parois de la cuve vous permettent de positionner les tablettes à différentes hauteurs, selon vos besoins.

Clayette porte bouteille

Placez les bouteilles (ouverture vers l’avant) dans les emplacements prévus de la clayette. Si la clayette est placée à l’horizontal, ne placez que des bouteilles non entamées. Cette clayette porte bouteilles a la possibilité de s’incliner afin de favoriser le rangement de bouteilles déjà entamées. Pour cela, tirez la clayette vers l’avant jusqu’à ce qu’elle puisse pivoter vers le haut afin de glisser la clayette dans le support clayette supérieur.

Positionnement des balconnets de la contre-porte

Il est possible de changer de place les balconnets.

A cet effet procédez comme suit: Dégagez les balconnets en agissant

dans le sens indiqué par les flèches. Remontez les balconnets à la hauteur désirée.

Conseils pour la réfrigération

Où pplacer lles ddenrées?

Viande

(de toutes sortes): enveloppezla dans des sachets en plastique et placez-la sur la tablette en verre audessus du(des) bac(s) à légumes.

La ppériode dde cconservation eest dde 11 àà 2 jjours aau mmaximum.

Aliments ccuits, pplats ffroids, eetc.: placez-les, bien couverts, sur une clayette.

Fruits eet llégumes:

enveloppez-les soigneusement dans des feuilles d’aluminium ou de polyéthylène et mettez-les dans les casiers appropriés.

Brassage de l’air

Ce modèle est pourvu d’un dispositif qui brasse l’air uniformément. Cette technologie a pour effet d’uniformiser la température à l’intérieur du réfrigérateur plus rapidement pour atteindre une température plus basse tout en maintenant un taux d’humidité constant. La température idéale ainsi assurée à tous les niveaux du réfrigérateur offre plus de liberté pour le rangement de tous les aliments et permet une meilleure et plus longue conservation de ces aliments. Ce dispositif est spécialement approprié lorsque vous avez introduit une grande quantité d’aliments dans le compartiment réfrigérateur et par temps chaud (Température ambiante supérieure à 25° C). Pour actionner le brassage de l’air, basculez l’interrupteur qui se trouve sur celui-ci: le voyant s’allume. Veillez à ne pas placer d’aliments devant ce dispositif, ce qui aurait pour effet de diminuer le brassage de l’air.

Les appareils equippé dans le compartiment retr. avec la "zone la plus froide" sont indiqué pour une meilleure conservation de aliments frais, viande, poisons etc. L'espace est situé directement au dessus de la clayelle en verre du bac à legumes.

Nettoyage

IIl est ddonc rrecommandé dde nne llaver lle revêtement eextérieur dde ccet aappareil qu’avec dde ll’eau cchaude eet uun ppetit peu dde ddétergent lliquide ppour assiettes.

N'utilisez jamais des objets métalliques pour nettoyer l'appareil; vous risquez de l'endommager.

A l'occasion d'un dégivrage complet, lavez I'intérieur avec de l'eau tiède et du bicarbonate, rincez et séchez soigneusement.

Lavez la carrosserie avec de l'eau tiède savonneuse. Passez de temps en temps un produit à polir.

Dépoussiérez le condenseur situé à l'arrière de l'appareil à l'aide d'une brosse ou d'un aspirateur. Une accumulation de poussière risquerait de diminuer le rendement de l'appareil.

Arrêt prolongé

Lorsque l'appareil doit rester à l'arrêt pendant un certain temps, prenez les précautions suivantes:

• débranchez la prise de courant;

• videz l'appareil;

• dégivrez-le et nettoyez-le à fond;

• laissez les portes entrouvertes pour faire circuler de l'air, de façon à éviter les mauvaises odeurs.

Changement de l’ampoule

Appuyez sur l’enclichetage arrière et en même temps retirez le couvercle dans le sens de la flèche.

Dégivrage

Le dégivrage du compartiment réfrigérateur s’effectue automatiquement, à chaque arrêt du compresseur. L’eau de dégivrage est évacuée dans un bac situé à l’arrière de l’appareil où elle s’évapore.

ANOMALIE DE FONCTIONNEMENT

Si l'appareil marche mal, il faut contrôler:

• si la fiche est bien branchée à la

prise de courant et si l'interrupteur est éteint;

• s'il n'y a pas de panne de courant;

• si les commandes sont bien dans la

bonne position;

• s'il y a des traces d'eau au fond du

compartiment et si l'orifice d'écoulement de l'eau de dégivrage est bouché (voir chapitre “Dégivrage”).

Branchement électrique

Contrôlez, avant de brancher l’appareil, que le voltage et la fréquence indiqués sur la plaque signalétique correspondent à ceux de votre réseau. Tolérance admise: ±6%. Pour l’adaptation de l’appareil à des voltages différents, l’adjonction d’un autotransformateur d’une puissance adéquate est indispensable. Entretoises postérieures

l’intérieur de l’appareil, il y a deux entretoises qui doivent être montées comme indiqué sur la figure. Desserrez les vis et introduisez les entretoises sous la tête de vis, puis resserrez.

Arrêts pour clayettes

Votre appareil est équipé d’arrêts pour clayettes qui permettent de les bloquer pendant le transport. Pour les enlever, procédez de la façon suivante : déplacez les arrêts dans le sens de la flèche, soulevez à l’arrière la clayette, poussez-la vers l’avant jusqu’à ce qu’elle se dégage. Retirez les arrêts.

• Démontez le cache (e) et démontez le pivot de la charnière inférieure, remontez-le de l’autre côté.

• Remotez le cache (e) de l’autre côté.

• Remotez la porte sur le pivot de la charnière inférieure (f).

• Faites attention afin que les portes soient paralleles .

• Fixez l'arrêt de porte de l’autre côté.

• Positionnez et fixez la charniere superièure (contenue dans le sachet de la documentation) de l’autre côté.

• Fixez la vis de la nouvelle cachecharnière (contenu dans le sachet de la documentation).

Réversibilité des portes

Avant d'effectuer la réversibilité des portes, débranchez l'appareil. Comment procéder :

• Pour effectuer les opérations décrites ci-dessous, nous vous conseillons de vous faire aider par une autre personne pour éviter d'endommager les portes de l'appareil.

• L'appareil en position verticale, ouvrez la porte supérieure. Retirez les vis fixant le cache plastique de la porte supérieure et retirez-le.

• Enlevez la petite couverture en plastique (d) de le cache plastique de la porte et remontez-la de l’autre côté.

• Inclinez l'appareil sur l'arrière en intercalant un support (petit tabouret par exemple).

• Retirez les cache charnières en plastique (a).

• Dévissez la charnière supérieure (b) et retirez-la.

• Dévissez et retirez l'arrêt de porte (c).

• Retirez la porte.

Attention

La rréversibilité ddes pportes uune ffois effectuée, ccontrôlez qque lles jjoints magnétiques aadhèrent àà lla ccarrosserie. Si lla ttempérature àà ll’intérieur dde lla pièce eest ttrop bbasse ((en hhiver, ppar exemple), iil sse ppeut qque lles jjoints n’adhèrent ppas pparfaitement. • Replacez votre appareil en position verticale.

• Replacez le cache plastique de la porte supérieure en le fixant à l'aide des vis.

• Dévissez les poignées. Remontezles de l’autre côté après avoir percé les caches avec un poinçon. Couvrez les trous libres avec les caches contenus dans le sachet de la documentation.

Replacez, nivelez l’appareil et attendez au moins deux heures avant de le relier.

Assistenza / Riparazioni

Ogni eventuale modifica che si rendesse necessaria all’impianto elettrico domestico, per poter installare l’apparecchiatura, dovrà essere eseguita solo da personale abilitato.

Mai riparare l’apparecchiatura da soli. Le riparazioni effettuate da persone non competenti possono provocare dei danni. Contattare il Centro di Assistenza più vicino ed esigere solo ricambi originali.

Uso domestico

•

I frigoriferi e/o congelatori domestici sono destinati unicamente alla conservazione e/o congelazione degli alimenti.

•

Le migliori prestazioni si hanno con temperature dell’ambiente comprese tra +18°C e +43°C (Classe T); + 18°C e +38°C (Classe ST); +16°C e +32°C (Classe N); +10°C e +32°C (Classe SN); la classe di appartenenza é riportata sulla targa matricola ubicata nella cella a fianco del vano verdura.

Attenzione:

al di fuori delle temperature ambiente indicate dalla classe climatica di appartenenza di questo prodotto, si devono osservare le seguenti indicazioni: quando la temperatura ambiente scende al di sotto del valore minimo può non essere garantita la temperatura di conservazione nel vano congelatore; pertanto si consiglia di

consumare al più presto gli alimenti in esso contenuti .

•

In tutte le apparecchiature ci sono delle superfici che si coprono di brina. A seconda del modello, tale brina può essere eliminata automaticamente (sbrinamento automatico) oppure manualmente. Non tentare mai di togliere la brina con un oggetto appuntito, si rischierebbe di danneggiare irrimediabilmente l’evaporatore. Utilizzare a tale scopo una paletta in plastica.

•

Non mettere mai nello scompartimento a bassa temperatura (congelatore o conservatore) bibite gassate: possono esplodere.

•

Non introdurre mai liquidi o alimenti caldi e non riempire fino all’orlo i recipienti muniti di coperchio.

•

Non usare alcun dispositivo meccanico o altro mezzo artificiale per accelerare il processo di sbrinamento tranne quelli qui raccomandati.

•

Non usare mai oggetti metallici per pulire l’apparecchiatura; essa potrebbe venir danneggiata.

Installazione

Durante il normale funzionamento il condensatore ed il compressore, che sono posti sul retro dell’apparecchiatura, si riscaldano sensibilmente. Assicurarsi quindi che l’installazione venga eseguita come da istruzioni riportate sul libretto. Un’aerazione insufficiente comporterà sicuramente un cattivo funzionamento e dei danni all’apparecchiatura.

•

Assicurarsi, dopo aver installato l’apparecchiatura, che essa non appoggi sul cavo di alimentazione.

Importante:

se il cavo di alimentazione si danneggiasse, dovrà essere sostituito da uno speciale cavo o assieme disponibili presso il costruttore o il servizio di assistenza tecnica.

•

Se l’apparecchiatura viene trasportata in posizione orizzontale è possibile che l’olio contenuto nel compressore defluisca nel circuito refrigerante. Lasciare l’apparecchiatura in posizione verticale almeno 2 ore prima di metterla in funzione per dar modo all’olio di refluire nel compressore.

•

L’apparecchiatura non deve essere collocata nelle vicinanze di termosifoni o cucine a gas.

•

Evitate ogni esposizione prolungata dell’apparecchiatura ai raggi solari.

•

La parte posteriore dell’apparecchiatura deve ricevere una sufficiente circolazione d’aria e deve essere evitato qualsiasi danno al circuito refrigerante.

Prima accensione

Dopo aver inserito la spina nella presa di corrente, se il display non è illuminato premere il tasto (A),

accensione apparecchiatura. Per una corretta conservazione dei cibi è consigliabile impostare la funzione Eco Mode che garantisce un setting di: +5°C nel frigorifero

• Per impostare una temperatura diversa seguire "Regolazione della temperatura".

Importante Se la porta rimane aperta per alcuni minuti, la lampada di illuminazione interna verrà spenta elettronicamente; in seguito il funzionamento della lampada sarà rispristinato dalla chiusura e riapertura della porta stessa.

Spegnimento dell’apparecchiatura

Lo spegnimento si ottiene tenendo premuto il tasto (A) e rilasciandolo solo al termine di un conto alla rovescia della temperatura da -3 -2 -1.

Regolazione della temperatura

La temperatura può essere regolata premendo il tasto (B) fino a scegliere la temperatura desiderata visualizzata nel display. Per confermare la scelta premere il tasto E (il cicalino emette un breve suono) o attendere qualche secondo (nessun suono viene emesso). L'indicatore torna a visualizzare per alcuni secondi la temperatura appena selezionata e poi riprende ad indicare la temperatura interna del vano. La temperatura programmata sarà raggiunta entro le 24 h. Dopo un lungo periodo di spegnimento non è necessario reimpostare la temperatura in quanto rimane memorizzata.

Attenzione! Durante il periodo di stabilizzazione nella prima messa in funzione la temperatura visualizzata (interna al vano) può non corrispondere alla temperatura impostata (temperatura che si vuole raggiungere).

Il cicalino emette un breve suono e l'icona rimane accesa. E' possibile disattivare la funzione in ogni momento premendo il tasto D fino a far lampeggiare l'icona corrispondente e poi il tasto E.

Funzione Child Lock

La funzione Child Lock si attiva premendo il tasto D (se necessario più volte) finché non appare l'icona

corrispondente . Confermare la scelta di bloccare la tastiera premendo il tasto E entro alcuni secondi. Il cicalino emette un breve suono e l'icona rimane accesa. In questa condizione eventuali azioni sui tasti non comportano alcuna variazione finché la funzione è attiva. E' possibile disattivare la funzione in ogni momento premendo il tasto D fino a far lampeggiare l'icona corrispondente e poi il tasto E.

Funktion Shopping

Se si deve introdurre una gran quantità di cibi caldi, ad esempio dopo aver fatto la spesa, si consiglia di attivare la funzione Shopping per raffreddarli più velocemente e per evitare un innalzamento della temperatura degli altri alimenti già contenuti nel frigorifero. La funzione shopping si attiva premendo il tasto D (se necessario più volte) finché non appare l'icona

corrispondente . Confermare la scelta di attivare la funzione shopping premendo il tasto E entro alcuni secondi. Il cicalino emette un breve suono e l'icona rimane accesa. La funzione shopping si spegne automaticamente dopo circa 6 ore. E' possibile disattivare la funzione in ogni momento premendo il tasto D fino a far lampeggiare l'icona corrispondente e poi il tasto E.

Funzione Eco Mode

La funzione Eco Mode si attiva premendo il tasto D (se necessario più volte) finché non appare l'icona

corrispondente (o impostando la temperatura a +5°C). Confermare la scelta di attivare la funzione Eco Mode premendo il tasto E entro alcuni secondi. Il cicalino emette un breve suono e l'icona rimane accesa. In questa condizione le temperature selezionate si impostano automaticamente (+ 5°C), nelle condizioni ottimali per la conservazione dei cibi. E' possibile disattivare la funzione in ogni momento modificando la temperatura impostata nel vano.

Uso del vano frigorifero

La temperatura di questo scomparto può essere regolata tra + 2°C e + 8°C. Durante il funzionamento normale viene visualizzata la temperatura media del vano frigorifero.

Attenzione! E' normale avere una differenza tra la temperatura visualizzata e quella impostata. In particolare quando:

• è stata recentemente modificata la

temperatura impostata

• la porta è stata a lungo aperta

• sono stati introdotti degli alimenti

caldi.

Funzione Holiday “H”

Con la funzione Holiday la temperatura dello scomparto refrigerante è impostata a + 15 °C. Con ciò si ha la possibilità durante una lunga assenza (es. vacanze) di tenere il vano refrigerante vuoto con la porta chiusa evitando la formazione di cattivi odori sgradevoli o muffe. La funzione Holiday viene attivata premendo il tasto B (come per modificare la temperatura) più volte fino a visualizzare sul display la lettera H. Premere il tasto E per conferma. Ora l 'apparecchiatura si trova nella funzione Holiday con risparmio energetico. E' possibile disattivare la funzione in qualsiasi momento impostando la temperatura del vano frigorifero ad un valore diverso da 15°C.

Attenzione! Quando la funzione Holiday "H" è attiva lo scomparto frigo deve rimanere vuoto.

Refrigerazione dei cibi

Per utilizzare nel modo migliore lo scomparto refrigerante è necessario:

• non introdurre nella cella vivande

calde;

• coprire o avvolgere gli alimenti,

specie se contengono aromi;

• disporre gli alimenti in modo che

l’aria possa circolare liberamente attorno ad essi.

Ripiani mobili

Sulle pareti della cella sono ricavate delle guide che consentono il posizionamento dei ripiani a diverse altezze, secondo la necessità.

Portabottiglie

Mettere le bottiglie (con l’apertura verso il davanti) nel ripiano preposto. Se il ripiano è situato orizzontalmente mettere solo bottiglie chiuse. Questo ripiano ha la possibilità di essere inclinato per favorire lo stoccaggio di bottiglie già aperte. Per ottenere questo risultato tirare il ripiano verso l’alto in modo che possa girarsi verso l’alto ed essere posizionato sul ripiano superiore.

Ricircolo dell’aria

Il vano frigorifero è dotato di un dispositivo il quale viene attivato agendo sull’interruttore (vedi fig.), la spia verde accesa significa che il dispositivo è in funzione.

Si consiglia l’uso del dispositivo quando la temperatura ambiente supera i 25°C.

Questo dispositivo consente un raffreddamento veloce dei cibi ed una migliore uniformità della temperatura all’interno del vano.

Vano a bassa temperatura

L’apparecchiatura è dotata di questo vano, particolarmente adatto alla conservazione di cibi freschi, come pesce, carne, frutti di mare ecc.

Il vano è posizionato nella parte inferiore, direttamente sopra il cassetto verdura

Posizionamento delle mensole

Per permettere lo stoccaggio d’alimenti di diverse dimensioni, si possono posizionare le mensole ad altezze differenti.

Operare come segue: Spingere la mensola nel senso della

freccia fino a quando non si libera e posizionarla all’altezza desiderata.

Sbrinamento

Lo sbrinamento nel vano frigorifero avviene automaticamente. L’acqua derivante dallo sbrinamento, viene raccolta in una bacinella, posta nella parte posteriore sopra il compressore, dove evapora.

Si rraccomanda ddi ppulire periodicamente iil fforo ddi sscarico dell’acqua ddi ssbrinamento uutilizzando l’apposito ““pulitore”.

Distanziali posteriori

Nell’apparecchiatura sono inseriti due distanziali da applicare come indicato in figura. Allentare le viti, inserire i distanziali sotto la testa della vite e riavvitare.

Fermi-Ripiani

La vostra apparecchiatura è dotata di fermi-ripiani che consentono di bloccare i ripiani durante il trasporto.

Per rimuoverli operare come segue: rialzare posteriormente il ripiano,

spingerlo nel senso della freccia fino a quando non si libera e togliere i fermi.

Reversibilità della porta

Prima di ogni operazione staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente. Nel caso il luogo d'installazione o l'utilizzo lo richieda, la direzione di apertura della porta può essere modificata da destra a sinistra. Le apparecchiature disponibili sul mercato hanno l'apertura a destra. Eseguire le operazioni seguenti in base alle figure e alle spiegazioni.

Use

• The domestic refrigerators and freezers are designed to be used specifically for the storage of edible foodstuffs only.

Warning:

when the ambient temperature is not included within the range indicated for the class of this appliance, the following instructions must be observed: when the ambient temperature drops below the minimum level, the storage temperature in the freezer compartment cannot be guaranteed; therefore it is advisable to use the food stored as soon as possible.

• Frozen food must not be re-frozen once it has been thawed out.

• Manufacturers’ storage recommendations should be strictly adhered to. Refer to relevant instructions.

• The inner lining of the appliance consists of channels through which the refrigerant passes. If these should be punctured this would damage the appliance beyond repair and cause food loss. DO NOT USE SHARP INSTRUMENTS to scrape off frost or ice. Frost may be removed by using the scraper provided. Under no circumstances should solid ice be forced off the liner. Solid ice should be allowed to thaw when defrosting the appliance.

• Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer as it creates pressure on the container, which may cause it to explode, resulting in damage to the appliance.Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the thawing process other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Never use metal objects for cleaning your appliance as it may get damaged.

Installation

• During normal operation, the condenser and compressor at the back of the appliance heat up considerably. For safety reasons, minimum ventilation must be as shown in the instructions.

• Care must be taken to ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable.

Important:

if the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly availa-ble from the manufacturer or its service agent.

• If the appliance is transported horizontally, it is possible that the oil contained in the compressor flows in the refrigerant circuit. It is advisable to wait at least two hours before connecting the appliance to allow the oil to flow back in the compressor.

• There are working parts in this product which heat up. Always ensure that there is adequate ventilation as a failure to do this will result in component failure and possible food loss. See installation instructions.

• Parts which heat up should not be exposed. Wherever possible the back of the product should be against a wall.

USE

Cleaning the interior

Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories with luke-warm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry thoroughly.

First switch on

After plugging the plug into the power outlet, if the display is not illuminated, press key (A), appliance on. For a correct storage of the food select the Eco Mode function that guarantee the following temperature is set:

+5°C in the fridge

• To select a different temperature see "Temperature regulation".

Important If the door remains ajar for some minutes, the internal lighting will turn off electronically; after this, the lighting function will be reset by closing and opening the door itself.

Switching off

The appliance is shut off by pressing key (A) for more than 1 second. During this, a countdown of the temperature from -3 -2 -1 will be shown.

Temperature regulation

The temperature may be regulated by pressing the key B. By pressing the key B the current temperature setting flashes on the indicator and by pressing the key B again it is possible to change it. You confirm the choice of the temperature either by pressing the key E, (you will hear the buzzer) or by waiting for some seconds (you will not hear the buzzer). Then the indicator shows again the inside compartment temperature. The newly selected-temperature must be reached after 24 hours. After a long period out of use it is not necessary to set again the temperature because it remains stored.

Attention! During the stability period by the first starting the temperature displayed can not correspond to the setting temperature. During this time it is possible that the temperature displayed is different than the setting temperature.

Functions Menu

By activating the key D the functions menu is operating. Each function could be confirmed by pressing button E. If there is no confirmation after some seconds the display will go out from the menu and return in normal condition. The following functions are indicated:

The ambient temperature function is activated by pressing key D (several times if necessary) until the

Child Lock Function

In this condition any possible operation through the keys does not cause any change as long as this function is activated. It is possible to de-activate the function at any time by pressing key D until the corresponding icon will flash and then key E.

Shopping Function

If you need to insert a large amount of warm food, for example after doing the grocery shopping, we suggest activating the Shopping function to chill the products more rapidly and to avoid warming the other food which is already in the refrigerator. The Shopping function is activated by pressing key D (several times if necessary) until the corresponding icon

appears . You must confirm the choise by pressing key E within few seconds. You will hear the buzzer and the icon remains lighted. The Shopping function shuts off automatically after approximately 6 hours. It is possible to de-activate the function at any time by pressing key D until the corresponding icon will flash and then key E.

Holiday Function “H”

The Holiday function sets the temperature at + 15°C. This function allows you to keep the refrigerator shut and empty during a long holiday period ( e. g. the summer holidays) without the formation of a bad smell. The Holiday Function H may be regulated by pressing the key B. By pressing the key B the current temperature setting flashes on the indicator. Press the key B again. When on the display appears the letter H confirm the choice of the temperature or by pressing the key E, (you will hear the buzzer) or by waiting for some seconds (you will not hear the buzzer).

Now the refrigerator is in the Holiday function in the energy- saving mode and the indicator shows the letter H. It is possible to de-activate the function at any time by changing the selected temperature in the compartment.

Attention! The fridge compartment must be empty with Holiday function on.

Fresh food refrigeration

To obtain the best performance:

• do not store warm food or

evaporating liquids in the refrigerator;

• do cover or wrap the food,

particularly if it has a strong flavour.

• Position food so that air can

circulate freely round it.

Eco Mode Function

The Eco Mode function is activated by pressing key D (several times if necessary) until the corresponding icon

appears (or setting the temperature at +5°C). You must confirm the choice by pressing key E within few seconds. You will hear the buzzer and the icon remains lighted. In this condition the chosen temperatures are automatically set (+ 5°C), in the best conditions for storing food. It is possible to de-activate the function at any time by changing the selected temperature in the compartment.

Use of the fridge compartment

The temperature of this compartment may be regulated between +2°C and +8°C. During normal functioning the indicator shows the temperature inside the fridge.

Attention! Difference between the temperature displayed and temperature setting is normal. Especially when:

• a new setting has recently been

selected

• the door has been left open for a

long time

• warm food has been placed in the

compartment.

Movable shelves

The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series of runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired.

Bottle rack

Place bottles in the rack with the bottleneck to the front. Important: Only store unopened bottles horizontally. The bottle rack can be tilted for storing opened bottles. To do this pull the bottle rack forward until it can be tilted upwards, then slide the front support into the next level up.

Positioning the door shelves

To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be placed at different heights. To make these adjustments proceed as follows: Gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arrows until it comes free, then reposition as required.

Cold Store compartment

The models equippied with this feature in the fridge part, it is indicated for a best conservation of fresh foods as fish, meat, seafood, etc. It is placed in the lower part, directly above of the vegatable conservation drawer.

Air recycling

The refrigerator compartment is equipped with a device which can be turned on with the switch ( see fig.). The green light, when on, means that the fan is working. It is suggested that the device be used when the ambient temperature exceeds 25°C . This device allows for rapid cooling of foods and a more uniform temperature in the compartment.

Useful hints: Meat ((all ttypes):

wrap in polythene bags and place on the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer.

Cooked ffoods, ccold ddishes, eetc..: these should be covered and may be placed on any shelf.

Fruit aand vvegetables:

these should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the special drawer(s) provided.

Milk bbottles:

Clean the inside with warm water and bicarbonate of soda.

Rinse and dry thoroughly. Clean the condenser (black grill) and

the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush or a vacuum cleaner. This operation will improve the performance of the appliance and save electricity consumption.

Periods of non-operation

When the appliance is not in use for long periods, take the following precautions:

• remove the plug from the wall socket;

• remove all food;

• defrost and clean the interior and all accessories;

• leave the door ajar to allow air to circulate to prevent unpleasant smells.

Defrosting

Frost is automatically eliminated from the evaporator of the refrigerator compartment every time the motor compressor stops, during normal use. The defrost water drains out through a trough into a special container at the back of the appliance, over the motor compressor, where it evaporates.

INSTALLATION Location

The appliance should be installed well away from sources of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct sunlight etc. Ensure that air can circulate freely around the back of the cabinet. To ensure best performance, if the appliance is positioned below an overhanging wall unit, the minimum distance between the top of the cabinet and the wall unit must be at least 100 mm . Ideally, however, the appliance should not be positioned below overhanging wall units. Accurate levelling is ensured by one or more adjustable feet at the base of the cabinet.

Attention

It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply; the plug must therefore be easily accessible after installation.

Electrical connection

Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage and frequency shown on the serial number plate correspond to your domestic power supply. Voltage can vary by ±6% of the rated voltage. Shelf holders

Your appliance is equipped with shelf retainers that make it possible to secure the shelves during transportation.

To remove them proceed as follows: Move the shelf holders in the direction

of the arrow, raise the shelf from the rear and push it forward until it is freed and remove the retainers.

Rear spacers

In tthe aappliance, tthere aare ttwo sspacers which mmust bbe ffitted aas sshown iin tthe figure .. Slacken the screws and insert the spacer under the screw head, then retighten the screws.

Door reversibility

Before carrying out any operations, remove the plug from the power socket.

To change the opening direction of the door, proceed as follows:

• To carry out the following operations, we suggest that this be made with another person that will keep a firm hold on the doors of the appliance during the operations.

• Open the door with the appliance in the upright position. Unscrew the screws and remove the upper door plastic trim.

• Remove the little plastic cover from the door plastic trim and refit on the opposite side (d).

• Lay down the appliance back side down.

• Remove the screw of the hinge cover plug (a).

• Unscrew the upper hinge and remove it (b).

• Unscrew the screw and remove the door stopper (c).

• Remove the door.

• Remove using a tool the cover (e) unscrew the lower hinge pivot (f) and place it on the opposite side.

• Reinsert the cover (e) on the opposite side.

• Reinsert the door .

• Pay attention that the front board of the doors are parallel to the front board of the top.

• Fix the door stopper on the opposite side.

• Position and fix the upper hinge (that can be found in the instruction for use bag) on the opposite side .

• Fix the screw of the new cover hinge (that can be found in the instruction for use bag).

• Lift up the appliance to vertical position.

• Open the door and reposition the upper door plastic trim with screws.

• Fix the handle on the opposite side, insert the plastic plugs into the holes left open that can be found in the instruction for use bag.

Reposition, level the appliance, wait for at least two hours and then connect it to the power socket.

In case you do not want to carry out the above mentioned operations, contact the nearest After Sales Service Force.. The After Sales Service specialist will carry out the reversibility of the doors at your cost.
