1.1 Sicherheit von Kindern und hilfsbedürftigen Personen

• Das Gerät darf von Personen (einschließlich Kindern), deren physische, sensorische Fähigkeiten und deren Mangel an Erfahrung und Kenntnissen einen sicheren Gebrauch des Gerätes ausschließen nur unter Aufsicht oder nach ausreichender Einweisung durch eine verantwortungsbewusste Person benutzt werden, die sicherstellt, dass sie sich der Gefahren des Gebrauchs bewusst sind.

Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht am Gerät herumspielen können.

• Halten Sie das Verpackungsmaterial unbedingt von Kindern fern. Erstickungsgefahr!

• Ziehen Sie vor der Entsorgung des Gerätes den Netzstecker, schneiden Sie das Netzkabel (so nah wie möglich am Gerät) ab und entfernen Sie die Tür, so dass spielende Kinder vor elektrischem Schlag geschützt sind und sich nicht in dem Gerät einschließen können.

• Wenn dieses Gerät mit magnetischer Türdichtung ein älteres Modell mit Schnappverschluss (Türlasche) an der

1.2 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Belüftungsöffnungen im Gehäuse oder in der Einbaunische nicht blockiert sind.

• Das Gerät ist für die Aufbewahrung von Lebensmitteln und/oder Getränken in einem normalen Haushalt bestimmt, wie in der vorliegenden Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben wird.

• Benutzen Sie keine mechanischen oder sonstigen Hilfsmittel, um den Abtauprozess zu beschleunigen.

• Verwenden Sie keine anderen Elektrogeräte (wie Speiseeisbereiter) in Kühlgeräten, wenn solche Geräte nicht ausdrücklich vom Hersteller für diesen Zweck zugelassen sind.

• Beschädigen Sie nicht den Kältekreislauf.

• Das Kältemittel Isobutan (R600a) im Kältekreislauf des Gerätes ist ein natürliches und sehr umweltfreundliches Gas, das jedoch leicht entflammbar ist.

Achten Sie beim Transport und bei der Aufstellung des Gerätes darauf, nicht die Komponenten des Kältekreislaufs zu beschädigen.

1.4 Reinigung und Pflege

• Schalten Sie vor Wartungsarbeiten immer das Gerät ab und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät nicht mit Metallgegenständen.

• Keine scharfen Gegenstände zum Entfernen von Reif und Eis im Gerät verwenden. Verwenden Sie einen Kunststoffschaber.

• Kontrollieren Sie den Tauwasserabfluss im Kühlraum in regelmäßigen Abständen. Reinigen Sie den Ablauf, falls nötig. Bei verstopftem Wasserabfluss sammelt sich das Wasser auf dem Boden des Geräts an.

1.5 Montage

Halten Sie sich für den elektrischen Anschluss strikt an die Anweisungen der betreffenden Abschnitte.

• Kontrollieren Sie nach dem Auspacken das Gerät auf eventuelle Beschädigungen. Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn es beschädigt ist. Melden Sie die Schäden umgehend dem Händler, bei dem Sie es erworben haben. Bewahren Sie in diesem Fall die Verpackung auf.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät mindestens vier Stunden stehen, bevor Sie es elektrisch anschließen, damit das Öl in den Kompressor zurückfließen kann.

• Ausreichenden Freiraum zur Luftzirkulation um das Gerät lassen; anderenfalls besteht Überhitzungsgefahr. Halten Sie sich für die Belüftung an die Installationsanweisungen.

• Das Gerät sollte zur Vermeidung von Verbrennungen durch Berührung von heißen Bauteilen (Kompressor, Kondensator) möglichst mit der Rückseite gegen eine Wand aufgestellt werden.

• Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von Heizkörpern oder Kochern installiert werden.

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Netzstecker des Gerätes nach der Installation frei zugänglich ist.

• Wenn ein Wasseranschluss vorgesehen ist, verbinden Sie das Gerät nur mit dem Trinkwasseranschluss.

1.6 Kundendienst

• Sollte die Wartung des Gerätes elektrische Arbeiten verlangen, so dürfen diese nur von einem qualifizierten Elektriker oder einem Elektro-Fachmann durchgeführt werden.

• Wenden Sie sich für Reparaturen und Wartung nur an Fachkräfte der autori-

1.7 Umweltschutz

Das Gerät enthält im Kältekreis oder in dem Isoliermaterial keine ozonschädigenden Gase. Das Gerät darf nicht wie normaler Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Die Isolierung enthält entzündliche Gase: das Gerät muss gemäß den geltenden Vorschriften entsorgt werden; sie erhalten diese bei Ihrer Gemeindeverwaltung. Nicht das Kälteaggregat beschädigen, insbesondere nicht in der Nähe des Wärmetauschers. Die Materialien, die bei der Herstellung dieses Geräts verwendet wurden und

2.1 Einschalten des Gerätes

Entfernen Sie den Aufkleber, der eventuell im Inneren des Gefrierraumes angebracht ist. Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Netzsteckdose.

2.2 Ausschalten des Geräts

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, um das Gerät auszuschalten.

2.3 Temperaturregelung

Die Temperatur wird automatisch geregelt. Bedienen Sie das Gerät wie folgt:

• Drücken Sie den Temperaturregler wiederholt, bis die LED aufleuchtet, die der gewünschten Temperatur entspricht. Die Temperatur kann im Bereich von +2 °C bis +8 °C eingestellt werden.

Eine mittlere Einstellung ist im Allgemeinen am besten geeignet.

Allerdings muss für eine exakte Einstellung berücksichtigt werden, dass die Temperatur im Inneren des Geräts von verschiedenen Faktoren abhängt:

•Raumtemperatur

• Häufigkeit des Öffnens der Tür

• Menge der eingelagerten Lebensmittel

• Standort des Geräts. Falls die Außentemperatur niedri-

ger als 16°C ist, drücken Sie die Temperaturregler-Taste, bis die LED aufleuchtet, die die niedrigste Temperatur anzeigt.

3. TÄGLICHER GEBRAUCH

2.4 Action Freeze -Funktion

Sie können die Funktion Action Freeze aktivieren, indem Sie die Taste Action Freeze so oft drücken, bis das Symbol Action Freeze aufleuchtet. Sie können die Funktion Action Freeze deaktivieren, indem Sie die Taste Action Freeze sooft drücken, bis die gewünschte Temperatur ausgewählt ist.

3.1 Reinigung des Innenraums

Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, beseitigen Sie den typischen „Neugeruch“ am besten durch Reinigen der Innenteile mit lauwarmem Wasser und einer neutralen Seife. Sorgfältig nachtrocknen.

3.2 Verstellbare Ablagen/Einsätze

Die Wände des Kühlschranks sind mit einer Reihe von Führungsschienen ausgestattet, die verschiedene Möglichkeiten für das Einsetzen der Ablagen bieten.

Die Türablagen können in unterschiedlicher Höhe positioniert werden, wodurch das Lagern verschieden großer Lebensmittelpackungen ermöglicht wird. Nehmen Sie die Einstellungen wie folgt vor: Ziehen Sie die Ablage langsam in Pfeilrichtung, bis sie sich herausheben lässt, und setzen Sie sie dann nach Wunsch wieder ein.

3.4 Flaschenhalter

Im voreingestellten Flaschenhalter können Flaschen (mit der Öffnung nach vorn) gelagert werden.

Legen Sie nur verschlossene Flaschen in den Flaschenhalter, wenn er sich in horizontaler Stellung befindet. Sie können den Flaschenhalter nach oben kippen, damit dort auch bereits geöffnete Flaschen gelagert werden können. Ziehen Sie dazu den Flaschenhalter nach oben und lassen Sie ihn in die nächsthöhere Stellung einrasten.

3.5 Obst-/Gemüseschublade mit Luftfeuchtigkeitsregelung

Die Schublade eignet sich zum Aufbewahren von Obst und Gemüse. Sie können die Schubladentrennwand in verschiedenen Positionen einsetzen und so die Aufteilung an Ihre persönlichen Bedürfnisse anpassen. Am Boden der Schublade befindet sich ein Gitter (je nach Ausstattung), um Obst und Gemüse vor Feuchtigkeit zu schützen, die sich auf dem Boden bilden kann. Entfernen Sie zu Reinigungszwecken alle Teile aus der Schublade.

3.6 Luftkühlung

Der Ventilator mit dynamischer Luftkühlungsfunktion kühlt Lebensmittel schnell und gleichmäßig. Er kann durch Drücken der VentilatorTaste (siehe „Bedienblende“) aktiviert werden. Die Ventilatorlampe leuchtet.

In die Glasablage ist eine Vorrichtung mit (über einen Schieber verstellbaren) Schlitzen integriert, die die Luftfeuchtigkeitsregelung in den Gemüsefächern ermöglicht. Bei geschlossenen Belüftungsschlitzen: der natürliche Feuchtigkeitsgehalt der Lebensmittel in der Gemüseschublade wird länger bewahrt. Bei geöffneten Belüftungsschlitzen: aufgrund des Luftstroms ist der Feuchtigkeitsgehalt in der Obst- und Gemüseschublade geringer.

Der Ventilator sollte eingeschaltet werden, wenn die Umgebungstemperatur über 25 °C steigt.

3.7 Gebrauch des Twist&Serve-Eiswürfelbereiters

3.8 Einfrieren frischer

Lebensmittel

Das Gefriergerät eignet sich zum Einfrieren von frischen Lebensmitteln und zum Lagern von gefrorenen und tiefgefrorenen Lebensmitteln über einen längeren Zeitraum. Aktivieren Sie zum Einfrieren frischer Lebensmitteln die Funktion Action Freeze mindestens 24 Stunden, bevor Sie die einzufrierenden Lebensmittel in das Gefrierfach hinein legen. Schieben Sie den Einsatz im Gefrierfach in die mittlere Halterung. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Einlage horizontal ist. Legen Sie die einzufrierenden frischen Lebensmittel auf diesen Einsatz. Die maximale Menge an Lebensmitteln, die in 24 Stunden eingefroren werden kann, ist auf dem Typenschild angegeben, das sich im Innern des Gerätes befindet. Der Gefriervorgang dauert 24 Stunden. Legen Sie während dieses Zeitraums keine weiteren einzufrierenden Lebensmittel in den Gefrierraum. Stellen Sie nach 24 Stunden, wenn der Gefriervorgang beendet ist, wieder die gewünschte Temperatur ein (siehe „Temperaturregelung“).

Dieses Gerät ist mit einer oder mehreren Schalen für die Herstellung und Aufbewahrung von Eiswürfeln ausgestattet. Der Twist&Serve-Eiswürfelbereiter befindet sich im Gefrierfach unter der Ablage. Er besteht aus einer doppelten Eiswürfelschale und einem Eisbehälter. Sie können die Eiswürfelschalen je nach Platzverhältnissen auf der linken oder rechten Seite anordnen. Ziehen Sie die Eiswürfelschalen heraus und füllen Sie diese maximal zu 3/4 mit Wasser. Drehen Sie, sobald das Wasser gefroren ist, den Knopf in Pfeilrichtung. Die Eiswürfel fallen direkt in den Eisbehälter. Ziehen Sie den Behälter heraus und entnehmen Sie die Eiswürfel.

3.9 Lagerung gefrorener Produkte

Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme oder nach einer Zeit, in der das Gerät nicht benutzt wurde, mindestens zwei Stunden lang auf den höheren Einstellungen laufen, bevor Sie Lebensmittel in das Gefrierfach hinein legen.

Kam es zum Beispiel durch einen Stromausfall, der länger dauerte als der in der Tabelle mit den technischen Daten angegebene Wert (siehe "Ausfalldauer") zu einem ungewollten Abtauen, dann müssen die aufgetauten Lebensmittel sehr rasch verbraucht oder sofort gekocht und (nach dem Abkühlen) erneut eingefroren werden.

3.10 Auftauen

Tiefgefrorene oder gefrorene Lebensmittel können vor der Verwendung je nach der zur Verfügung stehenden Zeit im Kühlschrank oder bei Raumtemperatur aufgetaut werden. Kleinere Teile können sogar direkt aus dem Gefrierraum entnommen und anschließend sofort gekocht werden. In diesem Fall dauert der Garvorgang etwas länger.

4. PRAKTISCHE TIPPS UND HINWEISE

4.1 Energiespartipps

• Öffnen Sie die Tür nicht zu häufig, und

lassen Sie diese nicht länger offen als unbedingt notwendig.

• Wenn die Umgebungstemperatur hoch

ist und der Temperaturregler auf eine niedrige Temperatur eingestellt und das Gerät voll beladen ist, kann es zu andauerndem Betrieb des Kompressors und damit zu Reif- oder Eisbildung am Verdampfer kommen. Stellen Sie in diesem Fall den Temperaturregler auf eine höhere Einstellung ein, die ein automatisches Abtauen und damit auch einen niedrigeren Energieverbrauch ermöglicht.

4.2 Hinweise für die Kühlung

frischer Lebensmittel

So erzielen Sie die besten Ergebnisse:

• Legen Sie bitte keine warmen Lebens-

mittel oder dampfenden Flüssigkeiten in den Kühlschrank.

• Decken Sie die Lebensmittel ab oder

verpacken Sie diese entsprechend, besonders wenn sie stark riechen.

• Legen Sie die Lebensmittel so hinein,

dass um sie Luft frei zirkulieren kann.

4.3 Hinweise für die Kühlung

Tipps: Fleisch (alle Sorten): wickeln Sie Fleisch in lebensmittelechte Tüten und legen Sie diese auf die Glasablage über der Gemüseschublade. Bitte lagern Sie Fleisch aus Sicherheitsgründen nur einen oder maximal zwei Tage auf diese Weise. Gekochte Lebensmittel, kalte Gerichte usw.: diese können abgedeckt auf eine Ablage gelegt werden. Obst und Gemüse: bitte waschen Sie Obst und Gemüse gründlich und legen Sie es in die speziell dafür vorgesehene(n) Schublade(n). Butter und Käse: diese sollten stets in speziellen luftdichten Behältern verpackt sein oder in Aluminiumfolie bzw. in lebensmittelechte Tüten eingepackt werden, um so wenig Luft wie möglich in der Verpackung zu haben.

Milchflaschen: bitte bewahren Sie Milchflaschen stets mit Deckel im Flaschenregal in der Tür auf. Bananen, Kartoffeln, Zwiebeln und Knoblauch sollten nicht im Kühlschrank aufbewahrt werden, außer diese sind dafür speziell verpackt.

4.4 Hinweise zum Einfrieren

Im Folgenden finden Sie einige wertvolle Tipps für einen optimalen Gefriervorgang:

• die maximale Menge an Lebensmitteln, die innerhalb von 24 Stunden eingefroren werden kann. ist auf dem Typschild angegeben;

• der Gefriervorgang dauert 24 Stunden. Legen Sie während dieses Zeitraums keine weiteren einzufrierenden Lebensmittel in das Gefrierfach;

• frieren Sie ausschließlich frische und gründlich gewaschene Lebensmittel von sehr guter Qualität ein;

• teilen Sie die Lebensmittel in kleinere Portionen ein, damit diese schnell und vollständig gefrieren und Sie später nur die Menge auftauen müssen, die Sie gerade benötigen;

• die einzufrierenden Lebensmittelportionen sollten stets luftdicht in Aluminiumfolie oder in lebensmittelechte Gefrierbeutel verpackt werden, um so wenig Luft wie möglich in der Verpackung zu haben;

• achten Sie beim Hineinlegen von frischen, noch ungefrorenen Lebensmitteln darauf, dass diese keinen Kontakt mit Gefriergut bekommen, da dieses sonst antauen kann;

• weniger fetthaltige Lebensmittel lassen sich besser lagern als fetthaltigere; Salz verkürzt die Lagerzeit von Lebensmitteln im Gefrierfach;

• werden Gefrierwürfel direkt nach der Entnahme aus dem Gefrierfach verwendet, können Sie zu Frostbrand auf der Haut führen;

4.5 Hinweise zur Lagerung

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die gefrorenen Lebensmittel vom Händler angemessen gelagert wurden.

• Achten Sie unbedingt darauf, die eingekauften gefrorenen Lebensmittel in der kürzest möglichen Zeit in das Gefriergerät zu bringen.

5. REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

• Öffnen Sie die Tür nicht zu häufig, und lassen Sie die Tür nicht länger offen als notwendig.

• Aufgetaute Lebensmittel verderben sehr schnell und eignen sich nicht für ein erneutes Einfrieren.

• Das Haltbarkeitsdatum auf der Tiefkühlkostverpackung darf nicht überschritten werden.

Der Kältekreis des Gerätes enthält Kohlenwasserstoffe; Wartungsarbeiten und Nachfüllen von Kältemittel dürfen daher nur durch vom Hersteller autorisiertes Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden.

5.1 Regelmäßige Reinigung

Das gesamte Gerät muss regelmäßig gereinigt werden:

• Viele Haushaltsreiniger für Küchen enthalten Chemikalien, die den im Gerät verwendeten Kunststoff angreifen können. Aus diesem Grund ist es empfehlenswert, die Außen- und Innenseiten des Geräts nur mit warmem Wasser und Neutralseife zu reinigen.

Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel oder Scheuerpulver für die Außenseiten, da dies den Lack oder die Antifinger-Edelstahl Beschichtung beschädigt.

• Prüfen und säubern Sie die Türdichtungen in regelmäßigen Abständen, um zu gewährleisten, dass diese sauber und frei von Fremdkörpern sind.

• Spülen und trocknen Sie sie sorgfältig ab.

• Reinigen Sie den Kondensator (schwarzes Gitter) und den Kompressor auf der

Geräterückseite mit einer Bürste. Dadurch verbessert sich die Leistung des Geräts und es verbraucht weniger Strom.

Ziehen Sie nicht an Leitungen und/oder Kabeln im Innern des Kühlschranks und achten Sie darauf, diese nicht zu verschieben oder zu beschädigen. Bitte achten Sie darauf, das Kühlsystem nicht zu beschädigen.

Schließen Sie das Gerät nach der Reinigung wieder an die Netzversorgung an.

5.2 Stillstandzeiten

Bei längerem Stillstand des Gerätes müssen Sie folgendermaßen vorgehen:

Bei normalem Betrieb wird Reif bei jedem Anhalten des Kompressors automatisch aus dem Verdampfer des Kühlschranks entfernt. Das Tauwasser läuft durch eine Rinne in einen speziellen Behälter an der Rückseite des Geräts über dem Motorkompressor, wo es verdampft. Reinigen Sie deshalb regelmäßig die Abflussöffnung des Tauwassers in der Mitte des Kühlschrankkanals, damit das Wasser nicht überfließt und auf die gelagerten Lebensmittel tropft. Benutzen Sie dazu bitte das mitgelieferte Reinigungswerkzeug, das sich bereits in der Ablauföffnung befindet.

7. MONTAGE

Lösen Sie die Schraube an der Lampenabdeckung. Drücken Sie mit einem Schraubendreher den hinteren Haken der Lampenabdeckung heraus und nehmen Sie die Abdeckung durch Ziehen nach unten ab. Ersetzen Sie die Lampe durch eine mit der gleichen Leistung, die für Haushaltsgeräte geeignet sein muss. (Die maximale Leistung ist auf der Lampenabdeckung angegeben.) Bringen Sie die Lampenabdeckung an. Ziehen Sie die Schraube an der Lampenabdeckung fest. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose. Öffnen Sie die Tür. Prüfen Sie, ob die Lampe brennt.

Ersetzen Sie die defekten Türdichtungen, falls erforderlich. Wenden Sie sich hierzu an den Kundendienst.

7.3 Elektrischer Anschluss

Kontrollieren Sie vor der ersten Benutzung des Gerätes, ob die Netzspannung und frequenz Ihres Hausanschlusses mit den auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Anschlusswerten übereinstimmen. Das Gerät muss geerdet sein. Zu diesem Zweck ist die Netzkabelsteckdose mit einem Schutzkontakt ausgestattet. Falls die

Um einwandfreien Betrieb sicherzustellen, sollte der Abstand zwischen der Oberseite des Gehäuses und dem Hängeschrank mindestens 100 mm betragen, wenn das Gerät unter einem Hängeschrank aufgestellt wird. Allerdings sollte die Aufstellung des Geräts unter einem Hängeschrank nach Möglichkeit vermieden werden. Die ordnungsgemäße waagrechte Ausrichtung des Gerätes kann mithilfe eines oder mehrerer verstellbarer Füße am Sockel des Gehäuses erfolgen.

WARNUNG!

Es muss möglich sein, das Gerät von der Hauptstromversorgung zu trennen; daher sollte der Netzstecker nach der Installation leicht zugänglich sein.

Steckdose Ihres Hausanschlusses nicht geerdet sein sollte, lassen Sie das Gerät bitte gemäß den geltenden Vorschriften erden und fragen Sie dafür einen qualifizierten Elektriker. Der Hersteller übernimmt keinerlei Haftung für Schäden oder Verletzungen, die durch Missachtung der oben genannten Sicherheitshinweise entstehen. Das Gerät entspricht den EU- Richtlinien.

7.4 Distanzstücke hinten

Im Gerät befinden sich zwei Distanzstücke, die, wie in der Abbildung gezeigt, angebracht werden müssen.

Lockern Sie dazu die Schrauben etwas und legen Sie die Distanzstücke unter die Schraubenköpfe. Anschließend ziehen Sie die Schrauben wieder fest.

7.5 Wechsel des Türanschlags

Vor dem Durchführen von Arbeiten am Gerät ist stets der Netzstecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen.

Die nachfolgend beschriebenen Schritte sollten von mindestens zwei Personen durchgeführt werden, um ein Herunterfallen der Türen zu vermeiden.

Beim Wechsel des Türanschlags muss wie folgt vorgegangen werden:

Bauen Sie das obere Scharnier aus und achten Sie darauf, dass die obere Tür nicht herunterfällt. Bewahren Sie es für eine zukünftige Benutzung auf. Entfernen Sie die obere Tür. Entfernen Sie die obere Halterung und befestigen Sie diese an der gegenüberliegenden Seite.

Lösen Sie das mittlere Scharnier (H). Schrauben Sie die Plastikstöpsel an der gegenüberliegenden Seite des mittleren Scharniers ab und setzen Sie diese in die Löcher ein, in denen sich vorher das Scharnier befand. Entfernen Sie die untere Tür.

Lösen Sie das Lüftungsgitter, das mit zwei Schrauben befestigt ist. Legen Sie das Gerät vorsichtig auf die Rückseite und schrauben Sie den verstellbaren Fuß komplett ab. Schrauben Sie den Fuß an der gegenüberliegenden Seite wieder an. Bauen Sie das untere Scharnier aus, indem Sie die Befestigungsschrauben lösen.

Schrauben Sie mit einem 12er-Schraubenschlüssel den Scharnierstift ab und bringen Sie ihn an der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Scharniers wieder an. Bauen Sie das untere Scharnier an der gegenüberliegenden Seite an und verwenden Sie dabei die zuvor entfernten Schrauben. Bringen Sie das Gerät vorsichtig wieder in seine Betriebsposition und richten Sie es waagerecht aus, indem Sie die verstellbaren Füße am Sockel des Kühlschranks mit den Händen oder einem Werkzeug hineinoder herausschrauben. Schieben Sie die Bohrungsabdeckung aus dem Lüftungsgitter, indem Sie sie in Pfeilrichtung herausdrücken und bringen Sie sie an der gegenüberliegenden Seite wieder an. Befestigen Sie das Lüftungsgitter mit den Schrauben.

Entfernen Sie die Kappen (1) an der Ober-

seite beider Türen und befestigen Sie diese an der anderen Seite.

Prüfen Sie alles erneut, um sicherzustellen, dass:

• Alle Schrauben fest angezogen sind.

• Der magnetische Dichtungsstreifen fest am Gerät befestigt ist.

• Die Tür korrekt öffnet und schließt.

Bei niedrigen Umgebungstemperaturen (z.B. im Winter) kann es sein, dass die

Im Zubehörbeutel befindet sich das obere Scharnier, das Sie benötigen, um den Türanschlag zu wechseln. Bringen Sie das Scharnier in Position, und schrauben Sie es fest. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Frontplatte der Tür parallel zur Frontseite der Geräteabdeckung ist. Rücken Sie das Gerät wieder an die richtige Stelle und richten Sie es waagerecht aus. Warten Sie mindestens vier Stunden, bevor Sie es wieder an die Stromversorgung anschließen.

Türdichtung nicht richtig am Gerät anliegt. Warten Sie in diesem Fall auf die natürliche Anpassung der Dichtung. Wenden Sie sich an den Kundendienst, wenn Sie bei den oben beschriebenen Schritten Unterstützung benötigen. Ein Kundendiensttechniker wird die Türen dann auf Ihre Kosten umbauen.

1.4 Entretien et nettoyage

1.5 Installation

Avant de procéder au branchement électrique, respectez scrupuleusement les instructions fournies dans cette notice.

• Déballez l'appareil et vérifiez qu'il n'est pas endommagé. Ne branchez pas l'appareil s'il est endommagé. Signalez immédiatement au revendeur de l'appareil les dommages constatés. Dans ce cas, gardez l'emballage.

• Il est conseillé d'attendre au moins quatre heures avant de brancher l'appareil pour que le circuit frigorifique soit stabilisé.

• Veillez à ce que l'air circule librement autour de l'appareil pour éviter qu'il ne

2.1 Mise en fonctionnement

Si un autocollant est collé est présent à l'intérieur du compartiment congélateur, retirez-le. Branchez l'appareil à une prise murale.

2.2 Mise à l'arrêt

Pour mettre l'appareil à l'arrêt, débranchez-le.

2.3 Réglage de la température

La température est réglée automatiquement. Pour faire fonctionner l'appareil, procédez comme suit :

• Appuyez et maintenez appuyée la touche de réglage de température jusqu'à ce que le voyant correspondant à la température souhaitée s'allume. La sélection se fait progressivement de + 2 °C à + 8 °C. En appuyant sur cette tou-

3. UTILISATION QUOTIDIENNE

2.4 Action Freeze fonction

Vous pouvez activer la fonction Action Freeze en appuyant sur Action Freeze la touche plusieurs fois jusqu'à ce que le voyant correspondant au symbole Action Freeze s'allume. Vous pouvez activer la fonction Action Freeze en appuyant sur Action Freeze la touche plusieurs fois, jusqu'à ce que la température souhaitée s'affiche.

3.1 Nettoyage intérieur

Avant d'utiliser l'appareil pour la première fois, nettoyez l'intérieur et tous les accessoires internes avec de l'eau tiède savonneuse pour supprimer l'odeur caractéristi-

Selon la taille des emballages des aliments conservés, les balconnets de la porte peuvent être positionnés à différentes hauteurs. Pour les ajuster, procédez comme suit : tirez progressivement dans le sens des flèches pour les dégager, puis repositionnez-les selon les besoins.

3.4 Compartiment à bouteilles

Placez les bouteilles (ouverture vers l'avant) sur la clayette prévue à cet effet.

Si la clayette est en position horizontale, placez uniquement des bouteilles non entamées. Cette clayette peut être inclinée afin de pouvoir y placer des bouteilles déjà ouvertes. Pour cela, tirez la clayette vers le haut afin qu'elle puisse glisser vers le haut et être placée sur le niveau supérieur.

3.5 Bac à légumes avec contrôle de l'humidité

Le bac convient au rangement des fruits et légumes. La séparation peut être placée dans différentes positions à l'intérieur du bac pour créer l'espace le plus adapté à vos besoins. La grille se trouvant au fond du bac (si présente) sépare les fruits et les légumes de l'humidité pouvant s'y déposer. Retirez tous les accessoires du bac avant de le nettoyer.

3.6 Brassage de l'air

Ce modèle est pourvu du dispositif Dynamic Air Cooling (DAC) qui brasse l'air uniformément. Cette technologie a pour effet d'uniformiser la température à l'intérieur du réfrigérateur plus rapidement pour atteindre une température plus basse tout en maintenant un taux d'humidité constant.

Lorsque les fentes de ventilation sont fermées : le taux d'humidité naturel des aliments conservés dans le bac à fruits et légumes est préservé plus longtemps. Lorsque les fentes de ventilation sont ouvertes : le taux d'humidité est plus bas, car la circulation d'air est plus importante.

Appuyez sur la touche de fonction du ventilateur (consultez le paragraphe « Bandeau de commande ») pour activer le ventilateur. Le voyant du ventilateur s'allume.

Activez le ventilateur lorsque la température ambiante est supérieure à 25 °C.

Cet appareil est équipé d'un ou de plusieurs bacs (selon modèle) pour la fabrication et la conservation des glaçons. Le distributeur de glaçons Twist&Serve est situé sous la clayette du compartiment congélateur. Il se compose d'un distributeur de glaçons (double bac) et d'un réservoir à glaçons. Selon vos besoins, vous pouvez déplacer le distributeur de glaçons à gauche ou à droite. Tirez les bacs à glaçons et remplissez-les d'eau potable non gazeuse jusqu'aux trois-quarts de leur hauteur de manière à permettre l'expansion de la glace. Lorsque les glaçons sont prêts, faites-les basculer dans le réservoir situé juste audessous des bacs à glaçons en tournant la poignée dans le sens de la flèche. Tirez le réservoir et retirez les glaçons.

Avant utilisation, les aliments surgelés ou congelés peuvent être décongelés dans le compartiment du réfrigérateur ou à température ambiante en fonction du temps disponible pour cette opération. Les petites portions peuvent même être cuites sans décongélation préalable (la cuisson sera cependant un peu plus longue).

4. CONSEILS UTILES

4.1 Conseils pour l'économie

Viande (tous les types) : enveloppez-la dans des sachets en plastique et placezla sur la tablette en verre au-dessus du bac à légumes. La période de conservation est de 1 à 2 jours au maximum. Aliments cuits, plats froids, etc. : placezles bien couverts sur une clayette. Fruits et légumes : placez-les une fois nettoyés dans le(s) bac(s) à légumes fourni(s). 5. ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

Cet appareil contient des hydrocarbures dans son circuit réfrigérant : l'entretien et la recharge ne

doivent donc être effectués que par du personnel autorisé.

5.1 Nettoyage périodique

L'appareil doit être nettoyé régulièrement :

• De nombreux détergents domestiques contiennent des produits chimiques qui peuvent attaquer/endommager les plastiques utilisés dans cet appareil. Il vous est donc recommandé d'utiliser un chiffon doux humidifié avec de l'eau chaude et un savon neutre pour nettoyer les surfaces intérieures et extérieures de l'appareil.

N'utilisez pas de pâtes ou de produits abrasifs pour nettoyer les surfaces extérieures car elles endommageraient la peinture, l'acier inoxydable ou le revêtement antitraces de doigts.

• lavez régulièrement le joint de porte en caoutchouc et assurez-vous qu'aucune saleté ne s'y trouve.

• rincez et séchez soigneusement.

• Nettoyez le condenseur (grille noire) et le compresseur situés à l'arrière de l'appareil avec une brosse. Cette opération améliore les performances de l'appareil et permet des économies d'électricité.

5.3 Dégivrage du réfrigérateur

Ne tirez pas, ne déplacez pas, n'endommagez pas les tuyaux et/ ou câbles qui se trouvent à l'intérieur de l'appareil. Attention à ne pas endommager le système de réfrigération.

Après le nettoyage, rebranchez l'appareil.

5.2 En cas d'absence prolongée ou de non-utilisation

Prenez les précautions suivantes :

• débranchez l'appareil

• retirez tous les aliments

• dégivrez si nécessaire et nettoyez l'appareil ainsi que tous les accessoires

• laissez la porte/les portes entrouverte(s) pour prévenir la formation d'odeurs désagréables.

Si, toutefois, vous n'avez pas la possibilité de débrancher et vider l'appareiI, faites vérifier régulièrement son bon fonctionnement pour éviter la détérioration des aliments en cas de panne de courant.

5.4 Dégivrage du congélateur

Le compartiment congélateur de ce modèle est "sans givre". Cela signifie qu'il n'y a aucune formation de givre pendant son fonctionnement, ni sur les parois internes si sur les aliments.

En fonctionnement normal, le givre est automatiquement éliminé de l'évaporateur du compartiment réfrigérateur à chaque fois que le compresseur s'arrête. L'eau de dégivrage est collectée dans un récipient spécial situé à l'arrière de l'appareil, audessus du compresseur, d'où elle s'évapore. Nettoyez régulièrement l'orifice d'écoulement de la goulotte d'évacuation de l'eau de dégivrage située au milieu du compartiment réfrigérateur pour empêcher l'eau de déborder et de couler à l'intérieur de l'appareil. Nettoyez l'orifice d'écoulement de l'eau de dégivrage avec le bâtonnet spécial se trouvant déjà dans l'orifice.

L'absence de givre est due à la circulation continuelle de l'air froid à l'intérieur du compartiment, sous l'impulsion d'un ventilateur à commande automatique.

6. EN CAS D'ANOMALIE DE FONCTIONNEMENT

6.1 Remplacement de l'ampoule

ATTENTION

Débranchez l'appareil du secteur.

Retirez la vis du diffuseur. Tirez le crochet arrière du diffuseur en verre vers l'extérieur en utilisant un tournevis et retirez-le en le tirant vers le bas. Remplacez l'ampoule par une ampoule de puissance identique, spécifiquement conçue pour les appareils électroménagers. (La puissance maximale est indiquée sur le diffuseur.) Installez le diffuseur de l'ampoule. Serrez la vis du diffuseur. Branchez la fiche de l'appareil à la prise secteur. Ouvrez la porte. Vérifiez que l'ampoule s'allume.

7. INSTALLATION

AVERTISSEMENT

Pour votre sécurité et le bon fonctionnement de l'appareil, veuillez lire attentivement les "Consignes de sécurité" avant d'installer l'appareil.

7.1 Emplacement

Pour garantir un rendement optimal si l'appareil est installé sous un élément suspendu, la distance entre le haut de l'appareil et l'élément suspendu doit être d'au moins 100 mm. Si possible, évitez de placer l'appareil sous des éléments suspendus. La mise de niveau se fait à l'aide d'un ou de plusieurs pieds réglables à la base de l'appareil.

Vous trouverez deux entretoises jointes à l'appareil qui doivent être installées comme indiqué sur la figure.

Desserrez les vis et introduisez l'entretoise sous la tête de vis, puis resserrez les vis.

7.5 Réversibilité de la porte

AVERTISSEMENT

Avant toute opération, débranchez la prise d'alimentation électrique.

Pour effectuer les opérations suivantes, il est conseillé de se faire aider par une autre personne pour maintenir fermement les portes lors de toute manipulation de l'appareil.

Pour changer le sens d'ouverture de la porte, suivez les étapes suivantes :

Enlevez la charnière supérieure en veillant à ce que la porte supérieure ne tombe pas et mettez la charnière de côté. Retirez la porte supérieure. Enlevez le support supérieur et placez-le de l'autre côté.

Dévissez la charnière intermédiaire (H). Dévissez les caches en plastique situés de l'autre côté de la charnière intermédiaire et introduisez-les dans les orifices laissés libres par la charnière démontée. Retirez la porte inférieure.

Retirez la grille de ventilation, fixée par deux vis. Couchez avec soin l'appareil sur sa partie arrière, dévissez complètement le pied réglable et vissez-le de l'autre côté. Retirez la charnière inférieure en dévissant les vis de fixation.

À l'aide d'une clé de 12 mm, dévissez la goupille de la charnière et remontez-la de l'autre côté de la charnière. Installez la charnière inférieure sur le côté opposé en utilisant les vis préalablement enlevées. Replacez l'appareil en position de fonctionnement et réglez le niveau de l'appareil en vissant/dévissant les pieds réglables (à la main ou à l'aide d'une clé appropriée). Faites glisser le cache de l'orifice pour l'extraire de la grille de ventilation en le poussant dans le sens de la flèche et remontez-le de l'autre côté. Installez la grille de ventilation et fixez-la à l'aide des vis.

Enlevez les caches (1) situés sur l'arête

supérieure des deux portes et placez-les sur le côté opposé.

Retirez la poignée. Dévissez le support supérieur de la tige de la poignée (h1). Dévissez le support inférieur de la poignée de la porte (h2). Dévissez le support supérieur de la poignée de la porte (h3). Installez le cache (1).

Contrôlez une dernière fois pour vous assurer que :

• Toutes les vis sont bien serrées.

• Le joint magnétique adhère bien à l'appareil.

• La porte ouvre et ferme correctement.

Si la température ambiante est basse (en hiver, par exemple), il se peut que le joint n'adhère pas parfaitement. Dans ce cas,

1.1 Sicurezza dei bambini e

delle persone fragili

• Questo apparecchio non deve essere usato da persone, bambini inclusi, con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o psichiche, oppure prive di conoscenza e esperienza, a meno che non siano state istruite all'uso dell'apparecchio da parte dei responsabili della loro sicurezza, oppure sotto vigilanza di questi.

I bambini devono essere sorvegliati per assicurarsi che non giochino con l'apparecchio.

• Tenere i materiali di imballaggio al di fuori della portata dei bambini. Alcuni materiali possono creare rischi di soffocamento.

• Qualora l'apparecchio venga demolito, estrarre la spina dalla presa, tagliare il cavo di collegamento (il più vicino possibile all'apparecchio) e smontare lo sportello per evitare che i bambini giocando possano subire scosse elettriche o chiudersi dentro l'apparecchio.

• Non usare dispositivi elettrici o altri mezzi artificiali non raccomandati dal produttore allo scopo di accelerare il processo di sbrinamento.

• Non utilizzare altre apparecchiature elettriche (per esempio gelatiere) all'interno del frigorifero, salvo quelle approvate per tale scopo dal produttore.

• Non danneggiare il circuito refrigerante.

• Il circuito refrigerante dell'apparecchiatura contiene isobutano (R600a), un gas naturale con un elevato livello di compatibilità ambientale che, tuttavia, è infiammabile.

Durante il trasporto e l'installazione dell'apparecchiatura, assicurarsi che nessuno dei componenti del circuito refrigerante venga danneggiato.

1.4 Pulizia e cura

• Non pulire l'apparecchio con oggetti metallici.

• Non usare oggetti appuntiti per rimuovere la brina dall'apparecchio. Usare un raschietto di plastica.

• Esaminare regolarmente il foro di scarico dell'acqua di sbrinamento nel frigorifero. Se necessario, pulirlo. Se il foro è otturato, l'acqua si raccoglie sul fondo dell'apparecchio.

1.5 Installazione

Per il collegamento elettrico, seguire attentamente le istruzioni dei paragrafi corrispondenti.

• Disimballare l'apparecchio e assicurarsi che non presenti danni. Non collegare l'apparecchio se è danneggiato. Segnalare immediatamente gli eventuali danni al negozio in cui è stato acquistato. In questo caso conservare l'imballaggio.

• Si consiglia di attendere almeno due ore prima di collegare l'apparecchio per consentire all'olio di arrivare nel compressore.

• Attorno all'apparecchio vi deve essere un'adeguata circolazione dell'aria, altrimenti si può surriscaldare. Per ottenere una ventilazione sufficiente seguire le istruzioni di installazione.

• Se possibile il retro dell'apparecchio dovrebbe essere posizionato contro una parete per evitare di toccare le parti calde o di rimanervi impigliati (compres-

sore, condensatore), evitando così possibili scottature.

• L'apparecchio non deve essere posto vicino a radiatori o piani di cottura a gas.

• Installare l'apparecchio in modo che la presa rimanga accessibile.

• Collegare solo a sorgenti d'acqua potabile (se è previsto un collegamento alla rete idrica).

1.6 Assistenza tecnica

• Gli interventi elettrici sull'apparecchiatura devono essere eseguiti esclusivamente da elettricisti qualificati o da personale competente.

• Gli interventi di assistenza devono essere eseguiti esclusivamente da tecnici autorizzati e utilizzando solo ricambi originali.

1.7 Tutela ambientale

Questo apparecchio non contiene gas che potrebbero danneggiare lo strato di ozono nel circuito refrigerante o nei materiali isolanti. L'apparecchio non deve essere smaltito assieme ai rifiuti urbani e alla spazzatura. La schiuma dell'isolamento contiene gas infiammabili: lo smaltimento dell'apparecchio va eseguito secondo le prescrizioni vigenti da richiedere alle autorità locali. Evitare di danneggiare il gruppo refrigerante, specialmente nella parte posteriore vicino allo scambiatore di calore. I materiali usati su questo apparecchio contrassegnati dal simbolo

2.1 Accensione

Togliere, se presente, l'etichetta incollata nella parte interna del comparto congelatore. Inserire la spina nella presa.

2.2 Spegnimento

Per spegnere l'apparecchio, staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.

2.3 Regolazione della temperatura

La temperatura viene regolata automaticamente. Per mettere in funzione l'apparecchiatura, procedere come segue:

• premere il tasto regolatore della temperatura diverse volte fino a quando non si accende il LED corrispondente alla temperatura desiderata. La selezione è progressiva, variando da + 2°C a + 8°C.

In condizioni normali, si consiglia di utilizzare una regolazione media.

Tuttavia, è importante ricordare che la temperatura all'interno dell'apparecchiatura dipende dai seguenti fattori:

• temperatura ambiente

• frequenza di apertura della porta

• quantità di alimenti conservati

3.1 Pulizia dell'interno

Prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio per la prima volta, lavare l'interno e gli accessori interni con acqua tiepida e un po' di sapone neutro in modo a togliere il tipico odore

dei prodotti nuovi, quindi asciugare accuratamente.

3.2 Ripiani mobili

Le guide presenti sulle pareti del frigorifero permettono di posizionare i ripiani a diverse altezze.

3.3 Posizionamento dei ripiani della porta

Per facilitare l'introduzione di alimenti di diverse dimensioni, i ripiani della porta possono essere posizionati ad altezze differenti. Per regolare l'altezza, procedere come segue: tirare delicatamente il ripiano nella direzione indicata dalle frecce fino a sganciarlo, quindi riposizionarlo dove necessario.

Non usare detergenti corrosivi o polveri abrasive che danneggiano le finiture.

3.4 Griglia portabottiglie

Disporre le bottiglie (con l'apertura in avanti) sull'apposito ripiano.

Se il ripiano è posizionato orizzontalmente, utilizzarlo solo per le bottiglie chiuse. Il ripiano può essere inclinato per consentire l'appoggio di bottiglie aperte. A questo scopo, tirare verso l'alto il ripiano in modo che possa ruotare in tale direzione e poggiare sul livello immediatamente superiore.

3.5 Cassetto verdura con controllo dell'umidità

Questo cassetto è particolarmente adatto per la conservazione di frutta e verdura. Collocare il separatore all'interno del cassetto in diverse posizioni per poter suddividere al meglio lo spazio a seconda delle personali esigenze. La griglia posta sul fondo del cassetto (se presente) separa la frutta e la verdura dagli eventuali depositi di umidità. Per poter pulire, svuotare il cassetto.

3.7 Uso del produttore di ghiaccio Twist&Serve

3.8 Congelazione dei cibi freschi

Il vano congelatore è adatto alla congelazione di cibi freschi e alla conservazione a lungo termine di alimenti congelati e surgelati. Per congelare alimenti freschi, attivare la funzione Action Freeze almeno 24 ore prima di introdurli nel vano congelatore. Spostare il ripiano presente nel vano congelatore mantenendolo in posizione orizzontale, posizionandolo nella sede intermedia. Riporre su tale ripiano i cibi freschi da congelare. La quantità massima di alimenti congelabile in 24 ore è riportata sulla “targa matricola”, un’etichetta presente sulle pareti interne dell’apparecchiatura. Il processo di congelamento dura 24 ore: finché non è concluso, non aggiungere altro cibo da congelare. Dopo 24 ore, quando il processo di congelamento è completato, ritornare alla temperatura desiderata (vedere "Regolazione della temperatura").

Questo apparecchio è dotato di una o più vaschette per la produzione e la conservazione di cubetti di ghiaccio. Il produttore di ghiaccio Twist&Serve si trova nel vano congelatore, sotto il ripiano. È formato da una doppia vaschetta e da un vaschetta di raccolta. A seconda delle esigenze di spazio, l'erogatore di ghiaccio può essere spostato a sinistra o a destra. Tirare la doppia vaschetta e riempirla d'acqua per 3/4 della capacità. I pezzi piccoli possono addirittura essere cucinati ancora congelati, direttamente dal congelatore: in questo caso la cottura durerà più a lungo.

3.9 Conservazione dei surgelati

4.1 Consigli per il risparmio

non lasciarla aperta più di quanto assolutamente necessario.

• Se la temperatura ambiente è elevata, il

termostato è impostato su una regolazione alta e l'apparecchio è a pieno carico, il compressore può funzionare in continuo causando la formazione di brina o ghiaccio sull'evaporatore. In questo caso, ruotare il termostato su una regolazione più bassa per consentire lo scongelamento automatico risparmiando così energia.

4.2 Consigli per la refrigerazione

Per ottenere i migliori risultati:

• non riporre nel frigorifero cibi caldi o li-

quidi in fase di evaporazione

• coprire o avvolgere il cibo, in particolare

se emana un odore forte

• posizionare il cibo in modo che l'aria

4.3 Consigli per la refrigerazione

Consigli utili: Carne (tutti i tipi): avvolgerla in sacchetti di politene e collocarla sul ripiano di vetro sopra il cassetto delle verdure. Per motivi di sicurezza, conservarla in queste condizioni solo per uno o due giorni al massimo. Cibi cucinati, piatti freddi ecc..: dovrebbero essere coperti e possono essere collocati su qualsiasi ripiano. Frutta e verdura: dovrebbero essere pulite accuratamente e collocate nell'apposito/i cassetto/i speciale/i. Burro e formaggio: dovrebbero essere posti in contenitori ermetici speciali o avvolti in pellicole di alluminio o sacchetti di politene per escludere per quanto possibile l'aria. Bottiglie di latte: dovrebbero essere tappate e conservate nell'apposito ripiano sulla porta.

Non conservare nel frigorifero banane, patate, cipolle o aglio se non sono confezionati.

4.4 Consigli per il congelamento

Per un processo di congelamento ottimale, ecco alcuni consigli importanti:

• la quantità massima di cibo che può essere congelata in 24 h è riportata sulla targhetta;

• il processo di congelamento dura 24 ore. In questo periodo non aggiungere altro cibo da congelare;

• congelare solo alimenti freschi, di ottima qualità e accuratamente puliti;

• preparare il cibo in piccole porzioni per consentire un congelamento rapido e completo e per scongelare in seguito solo la quantità necessaria;

• avvolgere il cibo in pellicole di alluminio o in politene e verificare che i pacchetti siano ermetici;

• non lasciare che cibo fresco non congelato entri in contatto con quello già congelato, per evitare un aumento della temperatura in quest'ultimo;

• i cibi magri si conservano meglio e più a lungo di quelli grassi; il sale riduce il periodo di conservazione del cibo;

• i ghiaccioli, se consumati immediatamente dopo la rimozione dal vano congelatore, possono causare ustioni da congelamento della pelle;

• si consiglia di riportare la data di congelamento su ogni singolo pacchetto per riuscire a tenere traccia del tempo di conservazione;

4.5 Consigli per la

conservazione dei surgelati

Per ottenere risultati ottimali

• Controllare che i surgelati esposti nei punti vendita non presentino segni di interruzione della catena del freddo

• Il tempo di trasferimento dei surgelati dal punto vendita al congelatore domestico deve essere il più breve possibile;

• Non aprire frequentemente la porta e limitare il più possibile i tempi di apertura;

ATTENZIONE

Staccare la spina dell'apparecchio prima di eseguire lavori di manutenzione.

Questo apparecchio contiene idrocarburi nell'unità di raffreddamento; la manutenzione e la ricarica devono pertanto essere effettuate esclusivamente da tecnici autorizzati.

5.1 Pulizia periodica

L'apparecchio deve essere pulito regolarmente:

• Molti detergenti per cucina contengono agenti chimici che possono intaccare/ danneggiare le parti in plastica di questa apparecchiatura. Per questo motivo, usare un panno morbido inumidito con acqua calda e un'emulsione di sapone neutro per la pulizia delle superfici esterne.

Non usare detergenti corrosivi o paste abrasive sulle superfici esterne che possono danneggiare la vernice o il rivestimento anti-impronte in acciaio inossidabile.

• Controllare regolarmente le guarnizioni della porta e verificare che siano pulite e prive di residui.

• Risciacquare e asciugare accuratamente.

• Pulire il condensatore (griglia nera) e il compressore sul retro dell'apparecchiatura con una spazzola. Questa operazione migliorerà le prestazioni dell'apparecchiatura riducendone i consumi di energia.

Evitare di tirare, spostare o danneggiare tubi e/o cavi all'interno dell'apparecchiatura. Prestare attenzione a non danneggiare il sistema refrigerante.

Dopo la pulizia, ricollegare l'apparecchio alla rete di alimentazione.

5.2 Periodi di inutilizzo

Quando l'apparecchio non è utilizzato per lunghi periodi, adottare le seguenti precauzioni:

Il vano congelatore in questo modello è di tipo "no frost", cioè non forma ghiaccio sulle pareti interne e sugli alimenti durante il funzionamento.

Durante l'uso normale, la brina viene eliminata automaticamente dall'evaporatore del vano frigorifero ogni volta che il motocompressore si arresta. L'acqua di sbrinamento giunge attraverso un condotto in un apposito recipiente posto sul retro dell'apparecchiatura, sopra il motocompressore, dove evapora. Pulire periodicamente il foro di scarico dell'acqua di sbrinamento, situato al centro del canale sulla parete posteriore, per evitare che l'acqua fuoriesca sugli alimenti. Usare l'apposito utensile già inserito nel foro di scarico.

L'assenza di ghiaccio è dovuta alla circolazione continua di aria fredda prodotta all'interno del vano da una ventola azionata automaticamente.

Prima della ricerca guasti, estrarre la spina dalla presa. Le operazioni di ricerca guasti non descritte nel presente manuale devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da elettricisti qualificati o da personale competente.

Durante l'uso, alcuni rumori di funzionamento (come quelli del compressore o del circuito refrigerante) sono da considerarsi normali.

Rimuovere la vite dal coprilampada. Tirare verso l'esterno il gancio posteriore del coprilampada utilizzando un cacciavite, quindi estrarre il coprilampada tirandolo verso il basso. Sostituire la lampada con una della stessa potenza e specificamente studiata per gli elettrodomestici. (la potenza massima è indicata sul coprilampada). Installare il coprilampada. Serrare la vite del coprilampada. Inserire la spina nella presa. Aprire le porte. Controllare che la lampadina si accenda.

7. INSTALLAZIONE

All'interno dell'apparecchiatura sono presenti due distanziatori che devono essere montati come illustrato in figura.

Allentare le viti e inserire il distanziatore sotto la testa della vite, infine riserrare le viti.

Per effettuare le seguenti operazioni, si raccomanda di farsi aiutare da un'altra persona che tenga ben ferme le porte dell'apparecchiatura.

Per cambiare la direzione di apertura della porta, procedere come segue:

Togliere la cerniera superiore, facendo attenzione che la porta superiore non cada e conservando la cerniera per uso successivo. Rimuovere la porta superiore. Togliere il supporto superiore e installarlo sul lato opposto.

Svitare la cerniera centrale (H). Togliere i tappi in plastica sul lato opposto della cerniera centrale e inserirli nei fori precedentemente occupati dalla cerniera. Rimuovere lo porta inferiore.

Togliere la griglia di ventilazione fissata con due viti. Adagiare delicatamente l'apparecchiatura sul lato posteriore, svitare completamente il piede regolabile e avvitarlo sul lato opposto. Togliere la cerniera inferiore svitando le viti di fissaggio.

Con una chiave da 12 mm, svitare il perno della cerniera e rimontarlo sul lato opposto della cerniera stessa. Installare la cerniera inferiore sul lato opposto, utilizzando le viti precedentemente tolte. Rimettere delicatamente l'apparecchiatura in posizione verticale, avvitando o svitando il piede regolabile alla base del frigorifero a mano o con uno strumento per garantire che sia in piano. Togliere la copertura della griglia di ventilazione facendola scorrere nella direzione indicata dalla freccia, quindi rimontarla sul lato opposto. Installare la griglia di ventilazione, quindi fissare le viti.

due porte e spostarli sul lato opposto.

Effettuare un controllo finale per verificare che:

• Tutte le viti siano serrate.

Rimuovere la maniglia. Svitare la staffa superiore dalla barra della maniglia (h1). Svitare la staffa inferiore della maniglia dalla porta (h2). Svitare la staffa superiore della maniglia dalla porta (h3). Inserire il tappo (1).

Installare la maniglia sul lato opposto. Riavvitare la staffa della maniglia sulla porta (h4). Ruotare la staffa insieme alla maniglia e avvitarle alla porta (h5) e alla staffa già inserita (h6). Installare la porta inferiore. Installare la cerniera centrale (H) sul lato opposto. Installare la porta superiore. Nella custodia della documentazione in dotazione si trova anche la cerniera superiore necessaria per la reversibilità. Inserire la cerniera e avvitarla. Verificare che il fronte della porta sia parallelo a quello della parte superiore. Riposizionare l'apparecchiatura, livellarla, attendere almeno quattro ore e inserire la spina nella presa.

• La guarnizione magnetica aderisca all'apparecchiatura.

• La porta si apra e si chiuda correttamente.

Se la temperatura ambiente è bassa (ad esempio in inverno), è possibile che la guarnizione non aderisca perfettamente. In tal caso, attendere che aderisca naturalmente.

8. RUMORI

Durante l'uso, alcuni rumori di funzionamento (come quelli del compressore o del circuito refrigerante) sono da considerarsi normali.

In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, including its hints and warnings. To avoid unnecessary mistakes and accidents, it is important to ensure that all people using the appliance are thoroughly familiar with its operation and safety features. Save these instructions and make sure that they remain with the appliance if it is moved or sold, so that everyone using it through its life will be properly informed on appliance use and safety. For the safety of life and property keep the precautions of these user's instructions as the manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by omission.

1.1 Children and vulnerable

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Keep all packaging well away from children. There is risk of suffocation.

• If you are discarding the appliance pull the plug out of the socket, cut the connection cable (as close to the appliance as you can) and remove the door to prevent playing children to suffer electric shock or to close themselves into it.

• If this appliance featuring magnetic door seals is to replace an older appliance having a spring lock (latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make that spring lock unusable before you discard the old appliance. This will prevent it from becoming a death trap for a child.

1.2 General safety

Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.

• The appliance is intended for keeping foodstuff and/or beverages in a normal household as explained in this instruction booklet.

• Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the thawing process.

• Do not use other electrical appliances (such as ice cream makers) inside of refrigerating appliances, unless they are approved for this purpose by the manufacturer.

• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

• The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable.

During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged.

If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged:

– avoid open flames and sources of ig-

nition

– thoroughly ventilate the room in

which the appliance is situated

• It is dangerous to alter the specifications or modify this product in any way. Any damage to the cord may cause a short-circuit, fire and/or electric shock.

WARNING!

Any electrical component (power cord, plug, compressor) must be replaced by a certified service agent or qualified service personnel to avoid hazard.

Power cord must not be lengthened.

Make sure that the power plug is not squashed or damaged by the back of the appliance. A squashed or damaged power plug may overheat and cause a fire.

Make sure that you can come to the mains plug of the appliance.

Do not pull the mains cable.

If the power plug socket is loose, do not insert the power plug. There is a risk of electric shock or fire.

You must not operate the appliance without the lamp cover (if foreseen) of interior lighting.

• This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it.

• Do not remove nor touch items from the freezer compartment if your hands are damp/wet, as this could cause skin abrasions or frost/freezer burns.

• Avoid prolonged exposure of the appliance to direct sunlight.

• Bulb lamps (if foreseen) used in this appliance are special purpose lamps selected for household appliances use only. They are not suitable for household room illumination.

1.3 Daily Use

• Do not put hot pot on the plastic parts in the appliance.

• Do not store flammable gas and liquid in the appliance, because they may explode.

• Do not place food products directly against the air outlet on the rear wall. (If the appliance is Frost Free)

• Frozen food must not be re-frozen once it has been thawed out.

• Store pre-packed frozen food in accordance with the frozen food manufacturer's instructions.

• Appliance's manufacturers storage recommendations should be strictly adhered to. Refer to relevant instructions.

• Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer compartment as it creates pressure on the container, which may cause it to explode, resulting in damage to the appliance.

• Ice lollies can cause frost burns if consumed straight from the appliance.

1.4 Care and cleaning

• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

• Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.

• Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the appliance. Use a plastic scraper.

• Regularly examine the drain in the refrigerator for defrosted water. If necessary, clean the drain. If the drain is blocked, water will collect in the bottom of the appliance.

1.5 Installation

For electrical connection carefully follow the instructions given in specific paragraphs.

• Unpack the appliance and check if there are damages on it. Do not connect the appliance if it is damaged. Report possible damages immediately to the place you bought it. In that case retain packing.

• It is advisable to wait at least four hours before connecting the appliance to allow the oil to flow back in the compressor.

• Adequate air circulation should be around the appliance, lacking this leads to overheating. To achieve sufficient ventilation follow the instructions relevant to installation.

• Wherever possible the back of the product should be against a wall to avoid touching or catching warm parts (compressor, condenser) to prevent possible burn.

• The appliance must not be located close to radiators or cookers.

• Make sure that the mains plug is accessible after the installation of the appliance.

• Connect to potable water supply only (If a water connection is foreseen).

1.6 Service

• Any electrical work required to do the servicing of the appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.

• This product must be serviced by an authorized Service Centre, and only genuine spare parts must be used.

2.1 Switching on

Remove, if present, the remove label stuck on the inside of the freezer compartment. Insert the plug into the wall socket.

2.2 Switching off

To switch off the appliance remove the mains plug.

2.3 Temperature regulation

The temperature is automatically regulated. To operate the appliance, proceed as follows:

• press the temperature regulator more times until the LED corresponding to the required temperature lights up. Selection is progressive, varying from +2°C to +8°C.

A medium setting is generally the most suitable.

However, the exact setting should be chosen keeping in mind that the temperature inside the appliance depends on:

• room temperature

• how often the door is opened

• the quantity of food stored

• the location of the appliance. If the ambient temperature is low-

er than 16°C press the temperature regulator until the LED corresponding to the lowest temperature lights up.

2.4 Action Freeze function

You can activate the Action Freeze function by pressing the Action Freeze button more times until the LED corresponding to the symbol Action Freeze indicator lights up. The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series of runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired.

To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be placed at different heights. To make these adjustments proceed as follow: gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arrows until it comes free, then reposition as required.

3.4 Bottle rack

Place the bottles (with the opening facing front) in the pre-positioned shelf.

If the shelf is positioned horizontally, place only closed bottles. This bottle holder shelf can be tilted in order to store previously opened bottles. To obtain this result, pull the shelf up so it can rotate upwards and be placed on the next higher level.

3.5 Vegetable drawer with humidity control

3.6 Air cooling

The Dynamic Air Cooling (DAC) fan let food cool quickly and a more uniform temperature in the compartment.

The drawer is suitable for storing fruit and vegetables. Place the separator inside the drawer in different positions to allow for the subdivision best suited to personal needs. The grille (if foreseen) on the bottom of the drawer separates the fruit and vegetables from any humidity that may form on the bottom surface. Remove all parts inside the drawer for cleaning purposes.

To regulate the humidity in the vegetable drawer the glass shelf incorporates a device with slits (adjustable by means of a sliding lever). When the ventilation slots are closed: the natural moisture content of the food in the fruit and vegetable compartments is preserved for longer. When the ventilation slots are opened: more air circulation results in a lower air moisture content in the fruit and vegetable compartments.

Press the fan function switch (refer to "Control panel") to activate the fan. The fan light comes on.

Switch on the fan when the ambient temperature exceeds 25°C.

3.7 Using of the Twist&Serve ice maker

This appliance is equipped with one or more trays for the production and the storage of ice-cubes. Twist&Serve ice maker is positioning in the freezer compartment under the shelf. It consists of a double tray ice dispenser and of an ice box. It is possible to shift the Ice Dispenser on left or on right according to your space needs. Pull the double tray Ice Maker and fill the trays with water at 3/4 of their maximum capacity. After the water has been frozen, twist the trays knob in the direction of the arrow so that the ice cubes fall directly into the box below. Pull the Ice box and pick up the Ice cubes.

3.8 Freezing fresh food

The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-frozen food for a long time. To freeze fresh food activate the Action Freeze function at least 24 hours before placing the food to be frozen in the freezer compartment. Move the shelf present in the freezer compartment to the middle seat, keeping it horizontal. Place the fresh food to be frozen on that shelf. The maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is specified on the rating plate, a label located on the inside of the appliance. The freezing process lasts 24 hours: during this period do not add other food to be frozen. After 24 hours, when the freezing process is completed, return to the required temperature (refer to "Temperature regulation").

3.10 Thawing

In the event of accidental defrosting, for example due to a power failure, if the power has been off for longer than the value shown in the technical characteristics chart under "rising time", the defrosted food must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then re-frozen (after cooling).

4. HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS

4.1 Hints for energy saving

• Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary.

• If the ambient temperature is high and the Temperature Regulator is set to low temperature and the appliance is fully loaded, the compressor may run continuously, causing frost or ice on the evaporator. If this happens, set the Temperature Regulator toward warmer settings to allow automatic defrosting and so a saving in electricity consumption.

4.2 Hints for fresh food

• do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator

• do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour

4.3 Hints for refrigeration

Useful hints: Meat (all types) : wrap in polythene bags and place on the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer. For safety, store in this way only one or two days at the most. Cooked foods, cold dishes, etc..: these should be covered and may be placed on any shelf. Fruit and vegetables: these should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the special drawer(s) provided. Butter and cheese: these should be placed in special airtight containers or wrapped in aluminium foil or polythene bags to exclude as much air as possible. Milk bottles: these should have a cap and should be stored in the bottle rack on the door. Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, if not packed, must not be kept in the refrigerator.

4.4 Hints for freezing

To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are some important hints:

• the maximum quantity of food which can be frozen in 24 hrs. is shown on the rating plate;

• the freezing process takes 24 hours. No further food to be frozen should be added during this period;

• only freeze top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned, foodstuffs;

• prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required;

• wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure that the packages are airtight;

• do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food which is already frozen, thus avoiding a rise in temperature of the latter;

• lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones; salt reduces the storage life of food;

• water ices, if consumed immediately after removal from the freezer compartment, can possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt;

• it is advisable to show the freezing in date on each individual pack to enable you to keep tab of the storage time.

4.5 Hints for storage of frozen

food

To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should:

• make sure that the commercially frozen foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer;

• be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred from the foodstore to the freezer in the shortest possible time;

• not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary;

• once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be refrozen;

• do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacturer.

Unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance operation.

This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its cooling unit; maintenance and recharging must therefore only be carried out by authorized technicians.

5.1 Periodic cleaning

The equipment has to be cleaned regularly:

• Many proprietary kitchen surface cleaners contain chemicals that can attack/ damage the plastics used in this appliance. For this reason use a soft cloth rinsed in warm water and neutral soap emulsion for cleaning internal and external surfaces.

Do not use detergents or abrasive paste for external surfaces as these will damage the paint, or stainless steel anti finger print coating.

• regularly check the door seals and wipe clean to ensure they are clean and free from debris.

• rinse and dry thoroughly.

• Clean the condenser (black grill) and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush. This operation will improve the performance of the appliance and save electricity consumption.

Do not pull, move or damage any pipes and/or cables inside the cabinet. Take care of not to damage the cooling system.

After cleaning, reconnect the equipment to the mains supply.

5.2 Periods of non-operation

When the appliance is not in use for long periods, take the following precautions:

• disconnect the appliance from elec-

• remove all food

• defrost (if foreseen) and clean the appliance and all accessories

• leave the door/doors ajar to prevent unpleasant smells.

If the cabinet will be kept on, ask somebody to check it once in a while to prevent the food inside from spoiling in case of a power failure.

5.3 Defrosting of the refrigerator

Frost is automatically eliminated from the evaporator of the refrigerator compartment every time the motor compressor stops, during normal use. The defrost water drains out through a trough into a special container at the back of the appliance, over the motor compressor, where it evaporates. Periodically clean the defrost water drain hole in the middle of the refrigerator compartment channel to prevent the water overflowing and dripping onto the food inside. Use the special cleaner provided, which you will find already inserted into the drain hole.

5.4 Defrosting of the freezer

The freezer compartment of this model, on the other hand, is a "no frost" type. This means that there is no buildup of frost when it is in operation, neither on the internal walls nor on the foods.

6.1 Replacing the lamp

CAUTION!

Disconnect the plug from the mains socket.

Remove the screw from the lamp cover. Pull outwards the rear hook of the lamp cover by using a screwdriver and remove the lamp cover pulling downwards. Replace the lamp with one of the same power and specifically designed for household appliances. (the maximum power is shown on the lamp cover). Install the lamp cover. Tighten the screw to the lamp cover. Connect the plug to the mains socket. Open the door. Make sure that the light comes on.

To ensure best performance, if the appliance is positioned below an overhanging wall unit, the minimum distance between the top of the cabinet and the wall unit must be at least 100 mm . Slacken the screws and insert the spacer under the screw head, then retighten the screws.

7.5 Door reversibility

Before carrying out any operations, remove the mains plug from the power socket.

To carry out the following operations, we suggest that this be made with another person that will keep a firm hold on the doors of the appliance during the operations.

To change the opening direction of the door, do these steps:

Remove the upper hinge taking care for the upper door not to fall off and keep it for future actions. Remove the upper door. Remove the upper support and install it in the opposite side.

Unscrew the middle hinge (H). Unscrew the plastic plugs located on the opposite side of the middle hinge and introduce them in the holes left free from the removed hinge. Remove the lower door.

Remove the ventilation grille which is fixed by two screws. Carefully place the appliance on its back, totally unscrew the adjustable foot and screw it in the opposite side. Remove the bottom hinge by unscrewing its fixing screws.

Using a 12 mm spanner, unscrew the hinge pin and reassemble it on the opposite side of the hinge. Install the lower hinge in the opposite side, using the screws previously removed. Carefully replace the appliance in its working position and adjust the level of the appliance by screwing / unscrewing the adjustable feet at the bottom of the cabinet using your fingers or a tool. Slide the hole cover out of the ventilation grille by pushing it in the direction of the arrow and reassemble it on the opposite side. Install the ventilation grille, fixing the screws.
