The register trunk Txx username word password word command on page 2, step 5 of the
Total Access 900 Series User Accounts Quick Configuration Guide (document number 61210916L1-42.2)
has been replaced with the new sip-identity command.
The sip-identity command activates SIP trunk registration for the voice users.
The voice user extension and the SIP identity number must match.
The following example sets the sip-identity using extension 2501 and SIP trunk T02:
(config)#voice user 2501
(config-2501)#sip-identity 2501 T02
!Defines the SIP identity and associates the user 2501 with the Trunk T02.
(config-2501)#sip-identity 2501
!Defines the SIP identity and registers without authentication.
(config-2501)#sip-identity 2501
!Defines the SIP identity and registers with authentication.
