CLOCK SET UP
Insert 1 AA battery (not included) as indicated in the battery compartment.
Set the clock to the correct time using the setting wheel
HANGING YOUR WALL CLOCK
Make sure to utilize the hanger molded into the backside of your clock. Use a securely anchored screw, nail or hook to support the weight of
your clock. Make certain that the screw/nail head is large enough to prevent the clock from slipping off in the event that it is jarred or bumped.
When using outdoors, we recommend that you hang your clock in a protected location.
WHEN USING THIS CLOCK OUTDOORS
Low temperatures can affect the battery performance and hinder the discharge of enough current to properly power the clock motor. This may
affect the timekeeping accuracy of your clock during the winter months when temperatures fall below freezing. If this happens, simply reset
your clock when temperatures warm back up and it will resume normal function. To avoid this problem, we recommend using low temperature
Lithium batteries. For optimum performance, we also recommend that batteries are changed annually.
HOW THE THERMOMETER INSTRUMENT WORKS
The thermometer will provide an accurate measurement of the air temperature in the vicinity of the instrument. Dial type thermometers are
operated by sensitive bi-metal coil spring mechanisms that respond to the air temperature changes. The thermometer instrument has been
calibrated at the factory and should not need adjustment. As with all thermometers that are placed in a new location, you should always allow
a period of several hours for stabilization before determining whether it is reading accurately. Make sure that your thermometer is not placed
in direct sunlight, as this will affect the accuracy of your temperature reading. Should you determine that an adjustment of the thermometer is
needed, this can be achieved by gently rotating the back of the thermometer movement on the back of the unit slowly in either direction until
the correct temperature is shown on the dial.
HOW THE HYGROMETER INSTRUMENT WORKS
The hygrometer will provide an accurate measurement of the humidity in the vicinity of the instrument. Dial type hygrometers are operated by
sensitive bi-metal coil spring mechanisms that respond to humidity changes. The hygrometer instrument has been calibrated at the factory and
should not need adjustment. As with all hygrometers that are placed in a new location, you should always allow a period of several hours for
stabilization before determining whether it is reading accurately. Should you determine that an adjustment of the hygrometer is needed, this can
be achieved by gently rotating the back of the hygrometer movement on the back of the unit slowly in either direction until the correct humidity
is shown on the dial.
