Information for Your Safety and Comfort
Read these instructions carefully. Keep this document for future reference. Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the product.
Turning the product off before cleaning
Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
Caution for plug as disconnecting device
Observe the following guidelines when connecting and disconnecting power to the external power supply unit:
• Install the power supply unit before connecting the power cord to the AC power outlet.
• Unplug the power cord before removing the power supply unit from the projector.
• If the system has multiple sources of power, disconnect power from the system by unplugging all power cords from the power supplies.
Caution for Accessibility
Be sure that the power outlet you plug the power cord into is easily accessible and located as close to the equipment operator as possible. When you need to disconnect power to the equipment, be sure to unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Warnings!
• Do not use this product near water.
• Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand or table. If the product falls, it could be seriously damaged.
• Slots and openings are provided for ventilation to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface.
This product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat register, or in a built-in installation unless proper ventilation is provided.
• Never push objects of any kind into this product through cabinet slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind onto or into the product.

• To avoid damage of internal components and to prevent battery leakage, do not place the product on a vibrating surface.
• Never use it under sporting, exercising, or any vibrating environment which will probably cause unexpected short current or damage rotor devices or lamp.
Using electrical power
• This product should be operated from the type of power indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power available, consult your dealer or local power company.
• Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord. Do not locate this product where people will walk on the cord.
• If an extension cord is used with this product, make sure that the total ampere rating of the equipment plugged into the extension cord does not exceed the extension cord ampere rating. Also, make sure that the total rating of all products plugged into the wall outlet does not exceed the fuse rating.
• Do not overload a power outlet, strip or receptacle by plugging in too many devices. The overall system load must not exceed 80% of the branch circuit rating. If power strips are used, the load should not exceed 80% of the power strip's input rating.
• This product's AC adapter is equipped with a three-wire grounded plug. The plug only fits in a grounded power outlet. Make sure the power outlet is properly grounded before inserting the AC adapter plug. Do not insert the plug into a non-grounded power outlet. Contact your electrician for details.
Warnings! The grounding pin is a safety feature. Using a power outlet that is not properly grounded may result in electric shock and/or injury.
Note: The grounding pin also provides good protection from unexpected noise produced by other nearby electrical devices that may interfere with the performance of this product.
• Use the product only with the supplied power supply cord set. If you need to replace the power cord set, make sure that the new power cord meets the following requirements: detachable type, UL listed/CSA certified, VDE approved or its equivalent, 4.5 meters (14.76 feet) maximum length.

Product servicing
Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage points or other risks. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel when:
• the power cord or plug is damaged, cut or frayed
• liquid was spilled into the product
• the product was exposed to rain or water
• the product has been dropped or the case has been damaged
• the product exhibits a distinct change in performance, indicating a need for service
• the product does not operate normally after following the operating instructions
Note: Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions, since improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to normal condition.
Warning! For safety reasons, do not use non-compliant parts when adding or changing components. Consult your reseller for purchase options.
Your device and its enhancements may contain small parts. Keep them out of the reach of small children.
Additional safety information
• Do not look into the projector's lens when the lamp is on. The bright light may hurt your eyes.
• Turn on the projector first and then signal sources.
• Do not place the product in the following environments:
• Space that is poorly ventilated or confined. At least 50cm clearance
from walls and free flow of air around the projector are necessary.
• Locations where temperatures may become excessively high, such
as inside of a car with all windows rolled up.
• Locations where excessive humidity, dust, or cigarette smoke may
contaminate optical components, shorten the life span and darken the image.
• Locations near fire alarms.
• Locations with an ambient temperature above 40 ºC/104 ºF.
• Locations where the altitudes are higher than 10000 feet.

• Unplug immediately if there is something wrong with your projector. Do not operate if smoke, strange noise or odor comes out of your projector. It might cause fire or electric shock. In this case, unplug immediately and contact your dealer.
• Do not keep using this product to break or drop it. In this case contact your dealer for inspection.
• Do not face the projector lens to the sun. It can lead to fire.
• When switching the projector off, please ensure the projector completes its cooling cycle before disconnecting power.
• Do not frequently turn off the main power abruptly or unplug the projector during operation. The best way is to wait for the fan to stop before turning main power off.
• Do not touch the air outlet grille and bottom plate which become hot.
• Clean the air filter frequently. The temperature inside may rise and cause damage when the filter/ventilation slots are clogged with dirt or dust.
• Do not look into the air outlet grille when projector is operating. It may hurt your eyes.
• Always open the lens shutter or remove the lens cap when the projector is on.
• Do not block the projector lens with any object when the projector is under operation as this could cause the object to become heated and deformed or even cause a fire. To temporarily turn off the lamp, press HIDE on the remote control.
• Do not operate lamps beyond the rated lamp life. It could cause it to break on rare occasions.
• Contact your local dealer or Acer service center when you need to change the lamp.
• The product will detect the life of the lamp itself. Please contact your local dealer or Acer service center for changing the lamp, when lamp warning message displays.
• Do not attempt to disassemble this projector. There are dangerous high voltages inside which may hurt you.
• Do not stand the projector on end vertically. It may cause the projector to fall over, causing injury or damage.
• This product is capable of displaying inverted images for ceiling mount installation. Only use acer ceiling mount kit for mounting the projector and ensure it is securely installed.

Caution for Listening

To protect your hearing, follow these instructions.
• Increase the volume gradually until you can hear clearly and comfortably.
• Do not increase the volume level after your ears have adjusted.
• Do not listen to music at high volumes for extended periods.
• Do not increase the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
• Decrease the volume if you can't hear people speaking near you.

First Thing First
Usage Notes
Do:
• Turn off the product before cleaning.
• Use a soft cloth moistened with mild detergent to clean the display housing.
• Disconnect the power plug from AC outlet if the product is not being used for a long period of time.
Don’t:
• Block the slots and openings on the projector provided for ventilation.
• Use abrasive cleaners, waxes or solvents to clean the unit.
• Use under the following conditions:
• In extremely hot, cold or humid environments.
• In areas susceptible to excessive dust and dirt.
• Near any appliance that generates a strong magnetic field.
• Place in direct sunlight.
Precautions
Follow all warnings, precautions and maintenance as recommended in this user's guide to maximize the life of your unit.
Warning:
• Do not look into the projector's lens when the lamp is on. The bright light may hurt your eyes.
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
• Please do not open or disassemble the product as this may cause electric shock.
• The product will detect the life of the lamp itself. Please contact your local dealer or Acer service center for changing the lamp, when lamp warning message displays.
• When switching the projector off, please ensure the projector completes its cooling cycle before disconnecting power.
• Turn on the projector first and then the signal sources.
• Do not use lens cap when projector is in operation.
• When the lamp reaches the end of its life, it will burn out and may make a loud popping sound. If this happens, the projector will not turn back on until the lamp module has been replaced. To replace the lamp, contact your local dealer or Acer service center.

Getting Started
Charging the product
The projector is built with an embedded battery for mobile use. Please charge the projector for 5 hours prior to its first use. Repeat charging will take around 3 hours.
The battery will be charged only when the projector is not in use (Power off). Connect one end of the supplied power adapter to DC IN jack and the other end to a power outlet to start charging.
Exchange the plug (EU, US etc.) of AC adapter that accommodates the type of power outlet in your country.
Charging LED Indicator
During charging, the LED indicator lights will flash as marquee. While the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator lights turns to solid blue.

Power On / Off / Standby
Push the Power button for 2 seconds to turn on the projector. Push the Power button again for 3 seconds to turn off the projector.
Standby mode: Push the Power button for 1 second to turn on / off the projector lamp to save the battery and system reboot time. (The LEDs are still on when the projector is in standby mode.)
Adjusting the Focus
Place the projector on a flat surface and toward a wall or a projection screen. Adjust the focus by turning the focus ring to get a sharp and clear picture.
Note: Use a tripod to increase the height of the projectional image
when necessary. The tripod socket is located under the projector.

Adjusting the brightness of projector
There is a brightness adjustment button on the top of the projector. It allows you to change the brightness.

Wireless projecting via Apple Airplay (iOS10)
1.Tap Setting -> WiFi to connect iPhone to Projector-xxxxxxxx shown on the top of projection screen.
2.Swipe up from the bottom bezel of the screen on your iPhone to bring up Control Center.

3.Tap on “AirPlay Mirroring” then choose “ Projector-xxxxxxxx”.
4.After connection, the screen has been mirror-projecting. *iOS device can project via EZCast APP also, the operation is same as an
Android device.
5.During projection, the smartphone can access cloud via 3G/4G network. It also can be done through the projector to link to a wireless network for cloud access.

Projecting from the wireless application software on Android devices
EZCast is an application that runs on your Android smartphone or iOS devices
and transmits still images or presentations to the projector. The EZCast is only used for a wireless connection.
1.Download and install the free EZCast app. Refer to the section of Main Screen.
2.Run EZCast after installation then click shown on screen in right top corner to search projector.
3.Choose WiFi Projector (Name as SSID shown on the top of projection screen) and enter the Login password shown on the projector screen as well. After connecting to the projector a blue connection icon will be shown on projection screen in right top corner
4.To connect the projector to a wireless network can support mirror projection and internet access. Tap shown on the EZCast screen in the left top corner,

Then, tap "Settings" and use the keypad displayed the mobile device to connect the projector to an available wireless network. The detail operation can be referred to “Connect the projector to Wi-Fi network for Internet access”.

EZMirror projection for Android MiraCast devices
EZMirror is the function of EZCast app and fully compatible with Miracast, you can click the EZMirror button in EZCast to Miracast mode.
1.Link with Projector-xxxxxxxx in Wi-Fi setting of Android device then open EZCast app to click <EZMirror> icon from the menu of . Projection screen will turn to the EZMirror screen.

2.Tap “ON” button shown on the screen. Once you turn it on, there is 60 seconds countdown for your mobile phone to connect with projector. Please enable Miracast function in smartphone setting page.

3.After Miracast connection, the screen has been mirror-projecting. Currently, the smartphone also can be connected to Internet via WLAN or 3G/4G.
Wireless projection from computer
1. Connect the computer to an available network for Internet access.
2. Open the Internet browser on your computer then enter the IP Address http://www.iezvu.com/download in the browser’s address bar.
3. Select the driver for Windows or Mac OS depending on your operating system and then click <Download> to enter the download page. Follow on-Screen instructions to complete the setup and reboot the computer.
4. When the installation is completed, an icon, labeled EZCast will appear on your computer desktop.
5.Power on the engine and enter to main screen of the projector.
6.Connect your computer to the projector Wireless network by selecting SSID: Projector-XXXXXXXX on the network list, enter the Password shown on the top of projection main screen and click <OK> to confirm.

7.Double-click EZCast icon on your computer desktop to start the application then click .When the screen displays the sleteion of "Projector-xxxxxxxx"double-click it to connect to projector.
8.Click“Mirror” to select the projection output method from Off (default) to
Mirror or Extension to start the wireless projection.
Connect the projector to Wi-Fi network for Internet access
It is recommended that you connect the projector to a Wi-Fi network (home network) so your computer, tablet, and smartphone can access to Internet at the same time. You only need to key in the network key to set up the connection for the first time. The projector will be automatically connected to the network when it’s powered on the next time.
1.Go to Setting menu, select and enter ‘Internet’.

2.Select the Wi-Fi network (SSID) you would like to connect with and confirm with OK button to open the password dialog and typed the password.

3. If wireless security is enabled on your Wi-Fi network, you should type the password (network key) by using the virtual keyboard on the smartphone or your PC keyboard.
4. Click OK to set up the Internet access point and make the connection. It will take a while till the connection is successfully established. In home screen you will see the connection status in the right top corner
5. After the projector is connected to your Wi-Fi network (home network), please close the APP on your smartphone / Computer. Next, please connect your smartphone to your Wi-Fi network (home network) and open the APP again use the serach button to connect to the projector again.
Note:Internet access performance is affected by various factors such as physical objects, distance, interference from other devices on similar frequencies, limited bandwidth etc. If the internet speed drops or intermittently disconnects during projection, we recommend you to select another access

point with a stronger signal or disable internet access to ensure the best experience for wireless projection.
HDMI Input
The projector has a built-in HDMI input port on the rear side. You can connect your external video Input source to the projector or output the projector’s screen to an LCD monitor or HDTV by using the appropriate cable.

Note:Apple Lightning Digital AV adapter is not included in the package.
HDMI Output
The projector has a built-in HDMI output port on the rear side. Using a HDMI cable to connect to an LCD monitor or a TV with an HDMI input port, the projector can transform a conventional TV or monitor into a Smart TV via the wireless connection to a phone or tablet.
Displaying the image on an External LCD Monitor
Use the HDMI cable to connect the HDMI output port on the rear panel of the projector to a LCD monitor or HDTV. After connecting, the screen switches to the LCD monitor automatically.

Troubleshooting
If your projector does not seem to be functioning properly, check the items below before you contact an authorized service center.
Symptom Check Point
The projector does not work when connecting to a smartphone, notebook or PC with cable.
The projector can’t be detected when running EZCast app.
The projected image is too dark.
The projected image is blurred.
The surface temperature of projector is high.
Recovering from abnormal
Check if HDMI cable is plugged correctly.
1.Enable your WLAN of PC or smartphone and select the access point labeled ‘Projector-XXXXXXXX’ to connect with the projector.
2.Disconnect the Ethernet cable from your computer to avoid affecting the wireless network connection.
1.Use the projector in a darker environment.
2.Increase the brightness by using the power adapter.
3.Scale down the projectional image size.
1.Adjust the focus. Please refer to “Adjusting the Focus”.
2.Check if the lens is dirty.
Because of the high-luminance LED, it is normal that this projector generates heat in long-time use. It will not affect the performance of the projector. Always keep the ventilation slots free of dirt or obstructions and operate the projector in a properly ventilated environment.
If the projector is running slow, freezing, crashing or locking up during the operation, you can try to insert a slim, pointy object into the reset hole to trigger a hardware reset.
