experience in the classroom, 3M learned that presenters (whether
teachers or students) don’t appreciate being blinded. So, we set about
designing a series of projectors that could
• be mounted on a wall over an existing whiteboard,
• serve as the core of an interactive classroom, and
• keep the light out of everyone’s eyes
We call it the Super Close Projection system. The SCP716 is our basic
model, but serves as the building block with plenty of flexibility to grow
with your needs.
Quick & easy installation
When we designed the SCP716, we didn’t stop at the incredible
optics. We also designed a mounting system that’s as flexible as it is
straightforward, enabling installers to transform nearly any classroom
from “chalk talk” to immersive environment in a few hours.

Limited Warranty
The 3M SCP700 Series Projector(s), SCP Fixed Wall Mount and SCP Input/Output (I/O) Module, (the “3M Product”) is warranted to be free from defects in material or manufacture for a period of three (3) years
from the date of purchase or 4,000 hours of usage, whichever occurs first. All other accessories of the 3M Product (those in the applicable modular configurations), excluding the projector lamps, but including the
ceiling mounts, digital annotation sensors, and all other 3M branded accessories are warranted to be free from defects in material or manufacture for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
The lamp component of the 3M Product is warranted to be free from defects in material and manufacture for a period of for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of purchase of the 3M Product or 180 hours
of lamp usage, whichever occurs first. This warranty is for parts only and in the case of an approved warranty claim for a lamp, your exclusive remedy will be for a replacement product shipped to your location.
Optional product upgrades and/or accessories that are not sold as part of any modular configuration are subject to individual warranties.
