Product assessments:
The product assessments were based on BS EN 140:1999, the English language version of EN 140:1998, respiratory
protective devices – half masks and quarter masks.
Product details:
The masks are designed for use as follows:
with a 3M specified pair of the same type of 3M Particulate Filters and, where applicable, their associated 3M Filter
Platforms and 3M Filter Retainers and/or 3M Gas and Vapour Filters,
as a component of a 3M Supplied Air Respirator System (airline compressed air system)
and
as a component of a 3M Dual Mode Supplied Air/Filtered Air Respiratory System (airline supplied compressed air/mask
mounted filter system).
The Filters and the Supplied Air and Dual Mode Supplied Air/Filtered Air Respiratory Systems are the subject of separate
CE Certificates.

Certificate validity:
The Certificate holder is responsible for ensuring that the Notified Body is advised of changes to any aspect of the overall processes
utilised in the manufacture of the product, failure to do so could invalidate the Certificate in respect of product manufactured
following the introduction of such changes.
The validity of this Certificate is also dependent on the annual assessment of the maintenance of the EC quality of production by
monitoring system, PPE Article 11B, as referenced on BSI Certificate CE 595701.
