ZyXEL STB-2105 offers IP video services, such as Video-on-Demand and IPTV, based on MPEG-4

AVC/H.264 compression technology, to reach a wider audience or achieve a higher density of service,

and thus increased network utilization. This enables Telco/Service Providers to expand their

subscriber base and offer two or more video streams per household, where only one was previously

possible — creating opportunities for substantially increased revenues and faster return on their

IPTV investments.

ZyXEL STB-2105 supports High-Definition displays at 720p and 1080p with MPEG-4 part 10/H.264

format. High-Definition video offers exciting and dramatic viewing enjoyment with greater realism

and more detail, especially on large displays. It comes complete with digital audio outputs for an

even more exciting home theater experience.

Support for content security solutions

STB-2105 is compatible with a wide range of leading content protection and rights management

solutions without Smart Cards. Its Conditional Access capabilities will provide good protection in

regards to content provider concerns.
