DistributedBaseStationArchitecture
BBUandRRUconstitutethedistributedbasestationsystem.OnecentralBBUmanages agroupofRRUs,realizingrapidandexiblecongurationandnetworkingforthe basestationsystem.TheBBU+RRUsolutionisamoreexiblemodeforbasestation establishment.Itreducesrequirementsfortheequipmentroomandthefeedercableloss.
BBUisarrangedindoorsandconnectedwithRRU(usuallyarrangedoutdoors)through opticalber,asshowninFigure1-3.
