Introducción

Muchas gracias por haber optado por el kit de cuidado para mascotas Zoofari ZTPS 6 A1, en
adelante «kit de cuidado para mascotas». El producto que acaba de adquirir es de alta calidad y
está diseñado para durar mucho tiempo.

El manual de instrucciones contiene información importante sobre cómo utilizar el kit de cuidado
para mascotas de manera segura, así como indicaciones e información sobre las operaciones
cotidianas y sobre su eliminación. Antes de utilizar el kit de cuidado para mascotas, familiarícese
con el presente manual de instrucciones. Asimismo, el kit únicamente debe utilizarse en los lugares
y para los fines que se indican en el manual. En caso de vender o entregar el kit de cuidado para
mascotas a otra persona, también debe entregarse el manual de instrucciones, puesto que forma
parte integrante del aparato.

Uso conforme a lo previsto

El kit de cuidado para mascotas está diseñado para animales mamíferos con una altura hasta la
escápula de, como máximo, 40 cm. Es muy fácil de utilizar y únicamente debe usarse para cortar
y arreglar el pelo de los animales en entornos domésticos. Asimismo, también permite cortar y
cuidar las uñas de los animales domésticos.
Este kit de cuidado para mascotas no está destinado al uso profesional e industrial. Utilícelo
únicamente con fines personales, ya que cualquier otro tipo de uso se considerará contrario a lo
previsto. Además, el kit de cuidado para mascotas tampoco se puede utilizar fuera de recintos
cerrados ni en regiones con clima tropical. El kit de cuidado para mascotas únicamente debe
utilizarse para los fines que se detallan en el presente manual de instrucciones y bajo ningún
concepto debe utilizarse para el cuidado personal de los seres humanos. Utilice únicamente los
accesorios recomendados por el fabricante, ya que los demás accesorios podrían dañar el
aparato de manera permanente. Si se da esta situación, la garantía podría quedar invalidada.

Este kit de cuidado para mascotas cumple con todas las normas y reglamentaciones relevantes de
acuerdo con la conformidad CE. Si se realiza algún cambio en el kit de cuidado para mascotas sin
haberlo acordado con el fabricante, el cumplimiento de estas normas dejará de estar garantizado.
El fabricante no se hará responsable de los daños y averías derivados de este tipo de acciones.

los animales. No utilice nunca el kit de cuidado para mascotas para el cuidado

¡PELIGRO! El kit de cuidado para mascotas no está diseñado para utilizarse con un
temporizador externo o un sistema de control remoto.

intensas. Asimismo, también debe evitarse cualquier contacto con gotas y salpicaduras
de agua y líquidos agresivos. No utilice el kit de cuidado para mascotas cerca del
agua. Está prohibido sumergir el kit de cuidado para mascotas. No coloque recipientes
con líquido encima o junto al kit de cuidado para mascotas, tales como floreros o
bebidas. También debe prestarse atención a que el kit de cuidado para mascotas no se
exponga a vibraciones o sacudidas fuertes. Además, tampoco debe permitirse que
penetren cuerpos extraños en su interior, ya que el kit de cuidado para mascotas
podría resultar dañado.

¡ADVERTENCIA! Para evitar hacerse daño, no cambie nunca los peines guía (3, 4, 5,

6) con el aparato en marcha. Antes de cambiar los peines guía (3, 4, 5, 6), desenchufe
la clavija de alimentación de la toma de corriente.

¡ADVERTENCIA! No utilice nunca el aparato con un peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6) roto o
defectuoso. Si los peines guía (3, 4, 5, 6) no tienen todos los dientes, podrían herir al
animal.

Cable de alimentación

¡PELIGRO! Preste atención a que el cable de alimentación no pase por encima de

bordes afilados. No coloque el cable de alimentación cerca de superficies u objetos
calientes. El aislamiento del cable de alimentación podría resultar dañado. Podría
producirse una descarga eléctrica.

¡PELIGRO! No utilice la máquina cortapelo (1) cerca de una bañera o una ducha ni
encima de un lavamanos lleno de agua. La proximidad del agua implica riesgo de
descarga eléctrica, incluso si el aparato está apagado.

¡PELIGRO! No utilice la máquina cortapelo (1) mientras se esté lavando al animal o si
tiene el pelo mojado. Podría producirse una descarga eléctrica.

¡ADVERTENCIA! Coja el cable de alimentación siempre por la clavija y no tire del
propio cable.

¡ADVERTENCIA! No coloque muebles ni otros objetos pesados encima del cable de
alimentación y preste atención a que no se doble.

¡ADVERTENCIA! No haga nunca un nudo en el cable de alimentación ni lo ate a
otros cables. Coloque el cable de alimentación de manera que nadie pueda pisarlo y
que no moleste.

¡ADVERTENCIA! No utilice clavijas adaptadoras ni cables alargadores que no
cumplan con las normas de seguridad en vigor y no modifique en forma alguna el
cable de alimentación. A fin de prevenir posibles situaciones de peligro, si el cable de
alimentación resulta dañado, deberá encargar su sustitución al fabricante, su servicio
de atención al cliente o a otra persona igualmente cualificada.

Antes de poner en marcha el aparato

Extraiga el kit de cuidado para mascotas de la caja y elimine todo el material de embalaje.
Compruebe que el kit de cuidado para mascotas no esté dañado. Si encuentra algún desperfecto
en el kit de cuidado para mascotas, no lo ponga en marcha.

Accesorios

Tapa protectora para las cuchillas (2)

La tapa protectora para las cuchillas (2) tiene la finalidad de proteger tanto al usuario como al
cabezal de corte. Cuando no utilice la máquina cortapelo (1) tape el cabezal de corte con la tapa
protectora para las cuchillas (2).

Peines guía (3, 4, 5, 6)

¡ADVERTENCIA! Para evitar hacerse daño, no cambie nunca los peines guía (3, 4, 5,

6) con el aparato en marcha. Antes de cambiar los peines guía (3, 4, 5, 6), desenchufe
la clavija de alimentación de la toma de corriente.

Los distintos peines guía (3, 4, 5, 6) permiten seleccionar 4 longitudes de corte diferentes. Los
peines guía (3, 4, 5, 6) tienen una marca con la longitud de corte correspondiente.

Aceite para cuchillas (7)

Si el aparato se utiliza con regularidad, el cabezal de corte debe lubricarse de manera ocasional
con el aceite para cuchillas (7) suministrado. Cuando termine, limpie los restos de aceite con un
paño seco.

Cepillo de limpieza (8)

Al terminar de utilizar la máquina cortapelo (1), puede quitar los restos de pelo del cabezal de
corte con el cepillo de limpieza (8).

Cepillo (9)

El cepillo (9) está diseñado para cepillar el pelo largo de perros y gatos. Utilice este cepillo (9)
periódicamente para cepillar con mucho cuidado el pelo seco de su mascota, especialmente antes
de cortarlo, y quitar los pelos sueltos y los nudos profundos. De esta manera, evitará que se
produzcan enredos. Mientras esté utilizando el cepillo (9), no olvide ir quitando los pelos que se
vayan adhiriendo.

Maletín de almacenamiento (10)

Permite guardar el kit de cuidado para mascotas de manera ordenada y ocupando poco espacio.

Cortaúñas (11)

El cortaúñas (11) permite cortar las uñas de los animales. El cortaúñas (11) contiene un
mecanismo que permite bloquearlo cuando está cerrado. Para poder utilizar el cortaúñas (11),
debe soltarse el mecanismo de bloqueo. Tenga en cuenta que suelen ser necesarias 2 personas
para cortar las uñas de los animales.

Peine para mascotas (12)

Este peine para mascotas (12) está diseñado especialmente para peinar el exterior del pelo.
Después de bañar al animal, peine el pelo primero con el lado grueso y luego con el fino. De esta
manera, se eliminarán los nudos y se alisará el pelo al mismo tiempo.

Lima de uñas (13)

Después de cortar las uñas al animal, utilice la lima de uñas (13) para corregir las astillas u otros
daños que se hayan producido en las uñas y para alisarlas. Tenga en cuenta que suelen ser
necesarias 2 personas para limar las uñas de los animales.

Tijeras para mascotas (14)

Las tijeras para mascotas (14) pueden utilizarse para cortar el pelo del animal en aquellos lugares
a los cuales no puede accederse bien con la máquina cortapelo (1).

Si es la primera vez que corta o arregla el pelo de un animal, infórmese bien al respecto antes de
empezar.
Si fuera necesario, consulte a su veterinario o a una peluquería canina y felina profesional.

Puesta en marcha

¡PELIGRO! No utilice la máquina cortapelo (1) cerca de una bañera o una ducha ni

encima de un lavamanos lleno de agua. La proximidad del agua implica riesgo de
descarga eléctrica, incluso si el aparato está apagado.

Para poder diferenciarlos mejor, los peines guía (3, 4, 5, 6) tienen una marca con los
tamaños 3, 6, 9 y 12 mm.

Colocación y extracción del peine guía

Para colocar y extraer el peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6), proceda tal como se explica a continuación:

Colocación del peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6):

1. Seleccione un peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6) y
colóquelo en el cabezal de corte centrado y
desde arriba.

2. Pase la lengüeta de bloqueo del peine guía
(3, 4, 5, 6) por encima del borde inferior del
cabezal de corte hasta que encaje, tal como se
muestra en la ilustración.

Para colocar la tapa protectora para las
cuchillas (2), proceda de la misma manera.

Extracción del peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6):

1. Suelte la lengüeta de bloqueo del peine
guía (3, 4, 5, 6) presionándola hacia fuera por
el borde inferior del cabezal de corte, tal como
se muestra en la ilustración.

2. Extraiga el peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6) del
cabezal de corte hacia arriba.

Para extraer la tapa protectora para las
cuchillas (2), proceda de la misma manera.

Cortar el pelo

 En primer lugar, familiarícese con la máquina cortapelo (1) y sujétela de una manera que le

permita accionar el interruptor de encendido y apagado en cualquier momento. Sostenga el
aparato firmemente con la mano.

 Antes de cortar el pelo del animal, lávelo bien. De esta manera evitará que las cuchillas se

desgasten rápidamente a causa de la suciedad.

 El pelo debe estar seco y limpio antes de cortarlo. Cepille el pelo para deshacer los nudos.
 En primer lugar, extraiga la tapa protectora para las cuchillas (2) del cabezal de corte.
 A continuación, coloque el peine guía que desee (3, 4, 5, 6) en el cabezal de corte con las

púas hacia arriba y presione firmemente la lengüeta del peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6) por encima
del borde metálico inferior del cabezal de corte hasta que encaje. Preste mucha atención a
que el peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6) esté encajado correctamente antes de empezar a cortar el
pelo del animal.

Si no está seguro del peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6) que debe utilizar, empiece por uno grande
y luego cambie a otro más pequeño si lo considera oportuno.

 Enchufe la clavija de alimentación a una toma de corriente y conecte (posición «ON») el

interruptor de encendido y apagado que hay en el lateral de la máquina cortapelo (1) para
encenderla.

La máquina cortapelo (1) debe encenderse siempre antes de colocarla en el pelo del
animal. De esta manera evitará que se bloqueen las cuchillas.

 Para que el animal se familiarice con el ruido de la máquina cortapelo (1), enciéndala y

acérquela a él lentamente.

 Realice el corte en la dirección de crecimiento natural del pelo. Si el corte se realiza en

dirección opuesta a la de crecimiento del pelo, este se enderezará y quedará más corto.

 Como referencia, empiece a cortar por detrás de las escápulas y trabaje lentamente hacia

atrás y hacia abajo. Extreme el cuidado cuando corte el pelo en las zonas más sensibles del
cuerpo del animal, como la cabeza, la barriga, las piernas o la cola.

 Empiece a cortar el pelo lentamente y con mucho cuidado.

Es normal que el cabezal de corte se caliente durante el funcionamiento. Apague la
máquina cortapelo (1) de vez en cuando durante unos instantes y compruebe si el
bloque de corte se ha calentado demasiado para el animal. Si es así, deje enfriar la
máquina cortapelo (1) durante un rato.

Cuando termine de cortar el pelo o si quiere cambiar el peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6), ponga el
interruptor de encendido y apagado que hay en el lateral de la máquina cortapelo (1) en la
posición «OFF» para apagarla y, acto seguido, desenchufe la clavija de alimentación de la toma
de corriente.

Limpieza y cuidado

¡PELIGRO! Antes de limpiar el aparato, extraiga la clavija de alimentación de la toma
de corriente.

¡PELIGRO! No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua u otros líquidos.

 Si hay colocado algún peine guía (3, 4, 5, 6), extráigalo. Los peines guía (3, 4, 5, 6) se

pueden limpiar con agua y jabón. Acto seguido, séquelos bien.

 Para limpiar la carcasa de la máquina cortapelo, frótela con un paño ligeramente

humedecido. Está prohibido utilizar productos de limpieza agresivos.

 Para quitar los restos de pelo del cabezal de corte, utilice únicamente el cepillo de limpieza

(8). El cabezal de corte se ajusta en fábrica para ofrecer un corte óptimo. Por este motivo,
no se deben tocar los tornillos Phillips que hay en el cabezal de corte.

 ¡Está prohibido utilizar agua u otros líquidos, con excepción del alcohol medicinal, para

limpiar el cabezal de corte!

 Si el aparato se utiliza con regularidad, el cabezal de corte debe lubricarse de manera

ocasional con el aceite para cuchillas (7) suministrado. Aplique un máximo de 1 ó 2 gotas
de aceite para cuchillas (7) a la zona de las cuchillas del cabezal de corte y distribúyalo
bien. Limpie el aceite que sobre con un paño seco.

 Guarde el aparato en un lugar seco y sin polvo, siempre que sea posible dentro del maletín

de almacenamiento (10). Antes de guardar el aparato, coloque la tapa protectora para las
cuchillas. Opcionalmente, la máquina cortapelo (1) también se puede colgar de la anilla
que hay en el cable.

Eliminación e información medioambiental

Los aparatos que van acompañados de este símbolo cumplen con la directiva
europea 2012/19/EU. Todos los aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos usados deben
eliminarse aparte de la basura doméstica en los centros municipales previstos
para ello. Al eliminar correctamente los aparatos usados estará contribuyendo a
reducir los daños en el medio ambiente y el peligro para su propia salud. Para
obtener más información acerca de cómo eliminar correctamente un aparato
usado, consulte a su ayuntamiento, el organismo de eliminación de residuos o la

tienda donde adquirió el aparato.
El embalaje también debe eliminarse respetando el medio ambiente. Los cartones deben
depositarse en contenedores de papel o deben entregarse en centros de recogida públicos para
garantizar su reutilización. Las láminas y las piezas de plástico incluidas en el volumen de
suministro deben ser recogidas por la empresa municipal de eliminación de residuos y eliminadas
correctamente.

Notas sobre la conformidad

Este aparato cumple con los requisitos básicos y las demás prescripciones

relevantes de la Directiva sobre compatibilidad electromagnética 2004/108/EC,

la Directiva ERP 2009/125/EC y la Directiva de baja tensión 2006/95/EC. La

declaración de conformidad correspondiente está incluida al final del presente

manual.

Información sobre la garantía y el servicio técnico

Este aparato tiene 3 años de garantía a partir de la fecha de compra. Recuerde que, si detecta
desperfectos en este aparato, usted tiene derechos legales respecto al vendedor del producto. La
garantía que se detalla a continuación no limita en modo alguno esos derechos legales.

Condiciones de garantía

El plazo de garantía empieza a partir de la fecha de compra. Guarde el comprobante de caja
original en un lugar seguro, puesto que lo necesitará para acreditar que hizo la compra. Si el
producto sufre un defecto de material o de fabricación dentro de este periodo de tres años a partir
de la fecha de compra, nos haremos cargo de la reparación o sustitución gratuitas del producto,
de acuerdo con nuestro propio criterio.

Plazo de garantía y reclamaciones legales

La prestación de la garantía no alarga el plazo de garantía. Esto es válido también para las
piezas sustituidas y reparadas. Los daños y desperfectos que ya existían al adquirir el producto
deben notificarse inmediatamente después de quitar el embalaje. Una vez finalizado el plazo de
garantía, todas las reparaciones son de pago.

Volumen de la garantía

El aparato ha sido fabricado en conformidad con las normas de calidad más exigentes y ha sido
revisado minuciosamente antes de entregarse. La prestación de garantía cubre los defectos de
material y de fabricación. Esta garantía no cubre las piezas del producto que estén expuestas a
desgaste habitual, pudiendo ser consideradas piezas de desgaste, ni tampoco los daños en las
piezas frágiles, como interruptores, baterías o componentes de cristal. La garantía quedará
invalidada si el producto resulta dañado, se utiliza incorrectamente o es manipulado. Para utilizar
el producto correctamente deben respetarse todas las instrucciones contenidas en el manual de
instrucciones. Debe evitarse expresamente cualquier finalidad de uso o manejo que difiera de lo
recomendado o que esté contraindicado en el manual de instrucciones. El producto está diseñado
únicamente para el uso particular, y no para el uso comercial o industrial. El manejo incorrecto e
inadecuado, el uso de la fuerza bruta y las intervenciones no realizadas por uno de nuestros
centros de servicio autorizados invalidarán la garantía. La reparación o sustitución del producto no
dan lugar a ningún plazo de garantía nuevo.

Procesamiento de la garantía

Para que su solicitud se tramite lo más rápido posible, proceda de la siguiente manera:

- Antes de poner en marcha el producto, lea detenidamente la documentación adjunta. Si
experimenta algún problema y no puede solucionarlo con ayuda de esas instrucciones,
llame a nuestro servicio de atención al cliente.

- Siempre que vaya a realizar una consulta, tenga preparado el comprobante de caja y
la referencia o el número de serie del aparato para poder acreditar la compra.

Thank you for purchasing a Zoofari pet grooming set ZTPS 6 A1, hereinafter referred to as pet
grooming set. You have thus purchased a high-quality and durable product.

These operating instructions contain important information on the safe use of the pet grooming set,
as well as instructions and information on its daily use and disposal. Read these operating
instructions thoroughly before using the pet grooming set and use it only for the purposes specified
in the range of application that is described. If you sell or pass on the pet grooming set to someone
else, be sure to always include these operating instructions. They are an integral part of the device.

Intended use

This pet grooming set is suitable for mammals with a maximum shoulder height of about 40cm. It is
easy to use and intended solely for cutting and trimming pet hair in private households. It also offers
you the possibility of clipping and grooming your pets' claws.
This pet grooming set is not designed for commercial use or installation and operation in a
company. This pet grooming set may only be used for private purposes, and any other use is not as
intended. Furthermore, the pet grooming set may not be used outdoors or in tropical climates. Use
the pet grooming set solely for the purposes shown in these operating instructions, and never for
human hygiene purposes. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer as non­recommended accessories may damage the device permanently. This could void your warranty.

This pet grooming set meets all relevant norms and standards in conjunction with CE conformity. In
the event of any modification to the pet grooming set that was not approved by the manufacturer,
compliance with these standards is no longer guaranteed. The manufacturer does not accept any

pet grooming set for human hygiene purposes. It is intended solely for the grooming of
pets. There is a risk of injury.

DANGER! The pet grooming set is not intended to be operated with an external time
switch or a separate remote control system.

DANGER! This pet grooming set can be used by children aged 8 and older and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the pet

5, 6). If teeth are missing from the attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6), an injury may result.

Mains cable

DANGER! Make sure that the mains cable is not connected over sharp edges. Never

place the mains cable in the vicinity of hot surfaces or objects. The insulation of the
mains cable could be damaged. It poses an electric shock risk.

DANGER! Never use the pet hair clippers (1) in the vicinity of the bath / shower or
over a sink filled with water. Proximity to water poses a risk of electric shock, even if the
device is switched off.

DANGER! Do not use the pet hair clippers (1) while you are bathing your pet or when
its coat is wet. It poses an electric shock risk.

WARNING! Always handle the mains cable by the plug and do not pull on the cable
itself.

WARNING! Do not place furniture or other heavy objects on the mains cable and
ensure that it is not kinked.

WARNING! Never tie a knot in the mains cable and do not tie cables together. Place
the mains cable so that no one can trip over it and it does not cause an obstruction.

WARNING! Do not use adapter plugs or extension cables that do not comply with
applicable safety standards, and do not make any alterations to the mains cable! If the
mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service
representative or a similarly qualified person to prevent any safety hazards.

Accessories

The blade protective cover (2)

The blade protective cover (2) is used to protect the user and the shaving head. Put the blade
protective cover (2) on the shaving head of the pet hair clippers (1) when you are not using them.

The attachment combs (3, 4, 5, 6)

WARNING! Never change an attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6) during operation to

prevent injury. Remove the mains plug from the socket before changing the attachment
comb (3, 4, 5, 6).

You can set 4 different cutting lengths by means of the various attachment combs (3, 4, 5, 6). The
different cutting lengths are imprinted on the attachment combs (3, 4, 5, 6).

The blade oil (7)

If the device is used regularly, the shaving head should be oiled occasionally. Use the supplied
blade oil (7) for this purpose. Remove excess oil with a dry cloth.

The cleaning brush (8)

After using the pet hair clippers (1), you can remove hairs from the shaving head with the cleaning
brush (8).

The pet hair brush (9)

The pet hair brush (9) is suitable for the fur of long-haired dogs and cats. Use the pet hair brush (9)
regularly to carefully brush your pet's dry coat to remove loose and knotted hair from its undercoat,
particularly before cutting. This prevents the fur from becoming tangled. Regularly remove hair from
the pet hair brush (9) during use.

Storage case (10)

This is used to store your pet grooming set in a tidy and space-saving manner.

The claw clipper (11)

You can trim your pet's claws with the claw clipper (11). The claw clipper (11) is equipped with a
locking mechanism which secures the claw clipper (11) in its closed position. Release the lock if you
want to use the claw clipper (11). Please note that 2 people are usually needed to clip an animal's
claws.

The fur comb (12)

This fur comb (12) is especially suitable for combing guard hair. After bathing your pet, first comb
its guard hair with the coarse side of the comb and then with the fine side. You remove knots and
make its fur sleek.

The claw file (13)

Use this claw file (13) after trimming your pet's claws in order to remove burrs and damage to the
claws and to make them even. Please note that 2 people are usually needed to file an animal's
claws.

The fur scissors (14)

With the fur scissors (14), you can trim your pet's fur even in places which are not easily accessible
with the pet hair clippers (1).

If you have never previously cut or trimmed your pet 's fur, try to obtain in advance as much
information as possible on the subject.
If necessary, consult a vet or a professional animal keeper.

First use

DANGER! Never use the pet hair clippers (1) in the vicinity of the bath / shower or

over a sink filled with water. Proximity to water poses a risk of electric shock, even if the
device is switched off.

The sizes 3, 6, 9, 12mm are imprinted on the attachment combs (3, 4, 5, 6) to facilitate
differentiation.

Attaching / removing attachment comb

To attach or remove an attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6), proceed as follows:

Attaching comb (3, 4, 5, 6):

1. Place the selected attachment comb (3, 4,
5, 6) down centrally on the shaving head.

2. Slide the locking mechanism of the
attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6) over the lower
side of the shaving head until it engages, as
shown in the illustration.

You attach the blade protective cover (2) in the
same manner.

Removing comb (3, 4, 5, 6):

1. Release the locking mechanism of the
attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6) by pressing it
over the lower side of the shaving head, as
shown in the illustration.

2. Lift the attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6) up off
the shaving head.

You remove the blade protective cover (2) in
the same manner.

Cutting/trimming

 First, familiarise yourself with the pet hair clippers (1) and try to hold the device so that you

can press the on/off switch at any time. Make sure that you are holding the device securely.

 Your pet's coat should be thoroughly cleaned before cutting it. You thus prevent the blades

from becoming worn too rapidly due to existing dirt.

 The coat to be cut must be clean and dry. Brush through the coat to remove any knots.
 First, remove the blade protective cover (2) from the shaving head.
 Now attach the desired attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6) to the shaving head with the teeth

facing upward and press the tab of the attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6) firmly on the lower
metal side of the shaving head until it engages. Ensure that the attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6)
has engaged correctly before you start cutting your pet's coat.

If you are not sure which attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6) you should use, first start with a
large comb and then switch to a smaller comb if necessary.

 Insert the mains plug into a socket and move the on/off switch on the side of the pet hair

clippers (1) to the "ON" position to switch on the pet hair clippers (1).

Always switch on the pet hair clippers (1) first before you approach your pet's fur with
the device. This prevents potential blocking of the blades.

 To familiarise your pet with the sound of the pet hair clippers (1), approach your pet slowly

with the device when it is switched on.

 Cut in the natural direction of growth of your pet's coat. If you cut against the direction of

growth, your pet's hair stands up and is cut shorter as a result.

 As a rough indicator for cutting, you should start behind the shoulders and slowly work

backwards and down. Work particularly carefully when you cut/trim sensitive parts of the
body such as face, stomach, legs or hindquarters of your pet.

 Start cutting/trimming slowly and carefully.

It is normal that the shaving head heats up while cutting. Switch off the pet hair clippers
(1) at intervals and check whether the cutter may have become too hot for your pet. In
this case, let the pet hair clippers (1) cool down briefly.

When you have finished cutting/trimming or if you want to change an attachment comb (3, 4, 5,

6), move the on/off switch on the side of the pet hair clippers (1) to the "OFF" position to switch off
the pet hair clippers (1) and remove the mains plug from the socket.

Cleaning and care

DANGER! Remove the mains plug from the socket each time you want to clean the pet
grooming set.

DANGER! Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.

 Remove the respective attachment comb (3, 4, 5, 6) if attached. You can clean the

attachment combs (3, 4, 5, 6) with water and soap. Then dry these well.

 You can wipe the housing of the pet hair clippers with a slightly damp cloth, but never use

corrosive cleaners.

 Remove hairs from the shaving head only with the cleaning brush (8). The shaving head is set

by the manufacturer to produce an optimal cutting result. For this reason, the cross-head
screws on the shaving head must not be loosened.

 The shaving head must not be cleaned with water or other liquids, except medical alcohol!
 If the device is used regularly, the shaving head should be oiled occasionally. Use the

supplied blade oil (7) for this purpose. Spread a maximum of 1 or 2 drops of blade oil (7)
on the blade area of the shaving head. Remove excess oil with a dry cloth.

 Store the device in a dry and dust-free place, preferably in the storage case (10). Place the

blade cover over the shaving head when storing the device. You also have the option of
hanging up the pet hair clippers (1) via the loop attached to the cable.

Environmental and disposal information

When this symbol appears on a product, this indicates that the product is subject to
the European Directive 2012/19/EU. All electrical and electronic devices must be
disposed of separately from household waste at designated disposal points.
Disposal of old devices in this manner will prevent harm to the environment and
human health hazards. For further information regarding disposal of old devices in
accordance with the directive, contact your local authorities, waste disposal office

or the shop where you bought the device.
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally compatible manner. Cardboard can be put out for
municipal paper collections or brought to public collection points for recycling. Films and plastic
used for packaging the device are collected by your local disposal services and disposed of in an
environmentally compatible manner.

Dear Customer,

This device is sold with three years warranty from the date of purchase. In the event of product
defects, you have legal rights towards the seller. These statutory rights are not restricted by our
warranty as described below.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period commences upon the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a
safe place as it is required as proof of purchase. If any material or manufacturing faults occur within
three years of purchase of this product, we will repair or replace the product free of charge as we
deem appropriate.

Warranty period and legal warranty rights

The warranty period is not extended in the event of a warranty claim. This also applies to replaced
and repaired parts. Any damage or defects discovered upon purchase must be reported
immediately when the product has been unpacked. Any repairs required after the warranty period
will be subject to charge.

Scope of warranty

The device was carefully manufactured in compliance with stringent quality guidelines and
subjected to thorough testing before it left the works. The warranty applies to material and
manufacturing faults. This warranty does not cover product components which are subject to normal
wear and which can therefore be regarded as wearing parts, or damage to fragile components
such as switches, rechargeable batteries or components made of glass. This warranty is void if the
product is damaged, incorrectly used or serviced. To ensure correct use of the product, always

Diese Bedienungsanleitung enthält wichtige Hinweise zum sicheren Gebrauch des Tierpflegesets,
sowie Hinweise und Informationen zur täglichen Verwendung und zur Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich
vor der Benutzung des Tierpflegesets intensiv mit dieser Bedienunganleitung vertraut und benutzen
Sie es nur in den beschriebenen Einsatzbereichen und für die beschriebenen Zwecke. Bei Verkauf

Nutzen Sie das Tierpflegeset niemals, um damit Körperpflege beim Menschen zu
betreiben. Es ist ausschließlich für die Pflege von Haustieren bestimmt. Es besteht
Verletzungsgefahr.

GEFAHR! Das Tierpflegeset ist nicht dazu bestimmt, mit einer externen Zeitschaltuhr
oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem betrieben zu werden.

GEFAHR! Dieses Tierpflegeset kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Personen mit
verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an
Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Tierpflegesets unterwiesen wurden und die daraus
resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Tierpflegeset spielen.
Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei
denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsichtigt. Halten Sie auch die Verpackungsfolien
von Kindern fern. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind vom Gerät und der Anschlussleitung fernzuhalten.

GEFAHR! Falls Sie Rauchentwicklung, ungewöhnliche Geräusche oder Gerüche
feststellen, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker des Tierpflegesets aus der Steckdose. In
diesen Fällen darf das Tierpflegeset nicht weiter verwendet werden, bevor eine
Überprüfung durch einen Fachmann durchgeführt wurde. Atmen Sie keinesfalls Rauch
aus einem möglichen Gerätebrand ein. Sollten Sie dennoch Rauch eingeatmet haben,
suchen Sie einen Arzt auf. Das Einatmen von Rauch kann gesundheitsschädlich sein.

GEFAHR! Achten Sie darauf, dass keine offenen Brandquellen (z. B. brennende
Kerzen) auf oder neben dem Tierpflegeset stehen. Es besteht Brandgefahr!

GEFAHR! Betreiben Sie das Tierpflegeset in einer trockenen Umgebung und niemals in
der Nähe von leicht entzündbaren Materialien, wie zum Beispiel Gardinen, Vorhängen
oder explosiven und/oder brennbaren Gasen oder Flüssigkeiten. Es besteht
Brandgefahr.

WARNUNG! Das Tierpflegeset darf nicht beschädigt werden, um Gefährdungen zu
vermeiden.

WARNUNG! Das Tierpflegeset darf keinen direkten Wärmequellen (z.B. Heizungen)
und keinem direkten Sonnenlicht oder starkem Kunstlicht ausgesetzt werden. Vermeiden
Sie auch den Kontakt mit Spritz- und Tropfwasser und aggressiven Flüssigkeiten.
Betreiben Sie das Tierpflegeset nicht in der Nähe von Wasser. Das Tierpflegeset darf

niemals untergetaucht werden. Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllten Gegenstände,
z.B. Vasen oder Getränke auf das Tierpflegeset. Achten Sie weiterhin darauf, dass es
keinen übermäßigen Erschütterungen und Vibrationen ausgesetzt wird. Außerdem
dürfen keine Fremdkörper eindringen. Andernfalls könnte das Tierpflegeset beschädigt
werden.

WARNUNG! Wechseln Sie niemals einen Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6) während des
Betriebes, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden. Ziehen Sie zum Wechseln eines
Aufsatzkammes (3, 4, 5, 6) den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

WARNUNG! Benutzen Sie niemals das Gerät mit einem defekten oder gebrochenen
Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6). Fehlende Zähne am Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6) können zu
Verletzungen führen.

Netzkabel

GEFAHR! Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe Kanten geführt

wird. Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel nicht in der Nähe von heißen Flächen oder
Gegenständen. Die Isolierung des Netzkabels könnte beschädigt werden. Es besteht
Stromschlaggefahr.

GEFAHR! Benutzen Sie den den Tierhaarschneider (1) nicht in der Nähe der
Badewanne / Dusche oder über einem mit Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken. Nähe von
Wasser stellt eine Stromschlaggefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

GEFAHR! Verwenden Sie den Tierhaarschneider (1) nicht, während das Tier gebadet
wird oder wenn das Fell nass ist. Es besteht Stromschlaggefahr.

WARNUNG! Fassen Sie das Netzkabel immer am Stecker an und ziehen Sie nicht am
Netzkabel selbst.

WARNUNG! Stellen Sie keine Möbelstücke oder andere schwere Gegenstände auf
das Netzkabel und achten Sie darauf, dass dieses nicht geknickt wird.

WARNUNG! Machen Sie niemals einen Knoten in das Netzkabel und binden Sie es
nicht mit anderen Kabeln zusammen. Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand
darauf tritt oder behindert wird.

WARNUNG! Verwenden Sie keine Adapterstecker oder Verlängerungskabel, die
nicht den geltenden Sicherheitsnormen entsprechen und nehmen Sie auch keine Eingriffe

Vor der Inbetriebnahme

Entnehmen Sie das Tierpflegeset aus der Verpackung und entfernen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial
vollständig. Prüfen Sie das Tierpflegeset auf Beschädigungen. Bei Beschädigungen darf das
Tierpflegeset nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.

Die Zubehörteile

Die Klingenschutzkappe (2)

Die Klingenschutzkappe (2) dient zum Schutz des Benutzers und des Scherkopfes. Setzten Sie die
Klingenschutzkappe (2) auf den Scherkopf des Tierhaarschneiders (1), wenn sie diesen nicht
benutzen.

Die Aufsatzkämme (3, 4, 5, 6)

WARNUNG! Wechseln Sie niemals einen Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6) während des

Betriebes, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden. Ziehen Sie zum Wechseln eines
Aufsatzkammes (3, 4, 5, 6) den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

Mit Hilfe der verschiedenen Aufsatzkämme (3, 4, 5, 6) können Sie 4 verschiedene Schnittlängen
einstellen. Die jeweilgen Schnittlängen sind in die Aufsatzkämme (3, 4, 5, 6) eingeprägt.

Das Klingenöl (7)

Bei regelmäßigem Gebrauch sollte der Scherkopf gelegentlich geölt werden. Verwenden Sie dazu
das mitgelieferte Klingenöl (7). Überschüssiges Öl entfernen Sie mit einem trockenen Tuch.

Der Reinigungspinsel (8)

Nach Gebrauch des Tierhaarschneiders (1) können Sie mit dem Reinigungspinsel (8) Haarreste
aus dem Scherkopf entfernen.

Die Tierhaarbürste (9)

Die Tierhaarbürste (9) ist geeignet für langes Fell von Hunden und Katzen. Bürsten Sie mit dieser
Tierhaarbürste (9) regelmäßig das trockene Fell vorsichtig durch, insbesondere vor dem Scheren,
um lose und verknotete Haare aus der Unterwolle zu entfernen. Sie beugen so einer Verfilzung des
Felles vor. Während des Gebrauchs sollten Sie regelmäßig die ausgebürsteten Haare aus der
Tierhaarbürste (9) entfernen.

Aufbewahrungskoffer (10)

Dient zur ordentlichen und platzsparenden Aufbewahrung Ihres Tierplegesets.

Der Krallenclipper (11)

Mit dem Krallenclipper (11) können Sie die Krallen Ihres Haustieres kürzen. Der Krallenclipper
(11) ist mit einer Verriegelung versehen, die den Krallenclipper (11) in geschlossener Stellung
fixiert. Lösen Sie diese Verriegelung, wenn Sie den Krallenclipper (11) benutzen wollen. Bitte
beachten Sie, dass in der Regel 2 Personen notwendig sind, um einem Tier die Krallen zu kürzen.

Der Fellkamm (12)

Dieser Fellkamm (12) ist speziell zum Kämmen des Deckhaares geeignet. Nach dem Baden Ihres
Haustieres kämmen Sie das Deckhaar zunächst mit der groben und anschließend mit der feinen
Seite. Sie entfernen Verknotungen und glätten das Fell.

Die Krallenfeile (13)

Benutzen Sie diese Krallenfeile (13) nach dem Kürzen der Krallen, um Grate und Beschädigungen
an den Krallen zu entfernen und diese zu glätten. Bitte beachten Sie, dass in der Regel 2 Personen
notwendig sind, um einem Tier die Krallen zu feilen.

Die Fellschere (14)

Mit der Fellschere (14) können Sie das Fell Ihres Haustieres auch an Stellen kürzen, die mit dem
Tierhaarschneider (1) nicht gut erreichbar sind.

Wenn Sie niemals zuvor das Fell Ihres Haustieres geschoren oder getrimmt haben, versuchen Sie
vorab möglichst viele Informationen darüber zu bekommen.
Fragen Sie gegebenenfalls bei einem Tierarzt oder einem professionellen Tierpfleger nach.

Inbetriebnahme

GEFAHR! Benutzen Sie den den Tierhaarschneider (1) nicht in der Nähe der

Badewanne / Dusche oder über einem mit Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken. Nähe von
Wasser stellt eine Stromschlaggefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

Zur besseren Unterscheidung sind die Größen 3, 6, 9, 12mm in den Aufsatzkämme (3,
4, 5, 6) eingeprägt.

Aufsatzkamm aufsetzen / abnehmen

Gehen Sie zum Aufsetzen / Abnehmen eines Aufsatzkammes (3, 4, 5, 6) wie folgt vor:

Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6) aufsetzen:

1. Führen Sie den ausgewählten Aufsatzkamm
(3, 4, 5, 6) von oben mittig auf den Scherkopf.

2. Schieben Sie die Verriegelung des
Aufsatzkammes (3, 4, 5, 6) wie in der
Abbildung gezeigt, über die untere Kante des
Scherkopfes, bis diese einrastet.

Das Aufsetzen der Klingenschutzkappe (2)
funktioniert in gleicher Weise.

Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6) abnehmen:

1. Lösen Sie die Verriegelung des
Aufsatzkammes (3, 4, 5, 6), in dem Sie diese ,
wie in der Abbildung gezeigt, über die untere
Kante des Scherkopfes drücken.

2. Heben Sie den Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6)
nach oben vom Scherkopf ab.

Das Abnehmen der Klingenschutzkappe (2)
funktioniert in gleicher Weise.

Scheren/Trimmen

 Machen Sie sich zunächst mit dem Tierhaarschneider (1) vertraut und versuchen Sie ihn so zu

halten, dass Sie jederzeit den Ein-/Aus-Schalter betätigen können. Achten Sie darauf, dass er
sicher in Ihrer Hand liegt.

 Das Fell sollte vor dem Scheren gründlich gereinigt werden. So vermeiden Sie, dass sich die

Klingen durch vorhandenen Schmutz zu schnell abnutzen.

 Das zu schneidende Fell muss trocken und sauber sein. Bürsten Sie das Fell durch, um

eventuelle Knoten zu entfernen.

 Nehmen Sie zunächst die Klingenschutzkappe (2) vom Scherkopf ab.
 Setzen Sie nun den gewünschten Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6) mit den Zacken nach oben auf

den Scherkopf und drücken Sie dabei die Lasche des Aufsatzkammes (3, 4, 5, 6) kräftig über
die untere Metallkante des Scherkopfes, bis diese einrastet. Achten Sie unbedingt darauf,
dass der Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6) richtig eingerastet ist, bevor Sie mit dem Scheren der
Tierhaare beginnen.

Wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind, welchen Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6) Sie benutzen sollen,
beginnen Sie zunächst mit einem großen und wechseln Sie anschließend bei Bedarf auf
einen kleineren.

 Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose und bringen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter an der

Seite des Tierhaarschneiders (1) in die Stellung „ON“, um den Tierhaarschneider (1)
einzuschalten.

Schalten Sie den Tierhaarschneider (1) immer zuerst ein, bevor Sie diesen an das Fell
Ihres Haustieres führen. So wird ein mögliches Blockieren der Klingen verhindert.

 Um Ihr Tier mit dem Geräusch des Tierhaarschneiders (1) vertraut zu machen, führen Sie

diesen im eingeschalteten Zustand langsam an das Tier heran.

 Scheren Sie in der natürlichen Wuchsrichtung des Felles. Wenn Sie gegen diese

Wuchsrichtung scheren, stellen Sich die Haare auf und das Haar wird kürzer geschoren.

 Als groben Anhaltspunkt für das Scheren sollten Sie hinter den Schultern beginnen und sich

nach hinten und nach unten langsam vorarbeiten. Arbeiten Sie besonders vorsichtig, wenn

Sie empfindliche Körperteile, wie z.B. Gesicht, Bauch, Beine oder Hinterteil Ihres Tieres
scheren/trimmen.

 Beginnen Sie nun langsam und vorsichtig mit dem Scheren/Trimmen.

Es ist normal, dass sich der Scherkopf während des Scherens erhitzt. Schalten Sie den
Tierhaarschneider (1) zwischendurch gelegentlich aus und prüfen Sie, ob der
Scherblock evtl. zu heiß für Ihr Tier geworden ist. Lassen Sie in diesem Fall den
Tierhaarschneider (1) kurz abkühlen.

Wenn Sie mit dem Scheren/Trimmen fertig sind oder einen Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6) wechseln
möchten, schalten Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter an der Seite des Tierhaarschneiders (1) in die Stellung
„OFF“, um den Tierhaarschneider (1) auszuschalten und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose.

Reinigung und Pflege

GEFAHR! Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

GEFAHR! Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

 Nehmen Sie den jeweiligen Aufsatzkamm (3, 4, 5, 6), falls aufgesetzt, ab. Die

Aufsatzkämme (3, 4, 5, 6) können Sie mit Wasser und Seifenlauge reinigen. Trocknen Sie
diese anschließen gut ab.

 Das Gehäuse des Tierhaarschneiders können Sie mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch

abwischen, verwenden Sie keinesfalls aggressive Reiniger.

 Entfernen Sie ausschließlich mit dem Reinigungspinsel (8) die Haarreste vom Scherkopf. Der

Scherkopf ist werkseitig auf ein optimales Schneidergebnis eingestellt. Aus diesem Grund
dürfen die Kreuzschlitzschrauben am Scherkopf nicht gelöst werden.

 Der Scherkopf darf nicht mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten, außer medizinischem

Alkohol, gereinigt werden!

 Bei regelmäßigem Gebrauch sollte der Scherkopf gelegentlich geölt werden. Verwenden Sie

dazu das mitgelieferte Klingenöl (7). Verteilen Sie maximal 1 bis 2 Tropfen Klingenöl (7) auf
dem Klingenbereich des Scherkopfes. Entfernen Sie überschüssiges Öl mit einem trockenen
Tuch.

 Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort, am Besten im

Aufbewahrungskoffer (10). Setzen Sie zur Aufbewahrung den Klingenschutz auf den
Scherkopf. Weiterhin besteht die Möglichkeit, den Tierhaarschneider (1) an der am Kabel
angebrachten Aufhängeöse aufzuhängen.

Umwelthinweise und Entsorgungsangaben

Die mit diesem Symbol gekennzeichneten Geräte unterliegen der europäischen
Richtlinie 2012/19/EU. Alle Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte müssen getrennt vom
Hausmüll über dafür staatlich vorgesehene Stellen entsorgt werden. Mit der
ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgung des alten Gerätes vermeiden Sie Umweltschäden
und eine Gefährdung Ihrer persönlichen Gesundheit. Weitere Informationen zur
vorschriftsgemäßen Entsorgung des alten Geräts erhalten Sie bei der
Stadtverwaltung, beim Entsorgungsamt oder in dem Geschäft, wo Sie das Gerät

erworben haben.
Führen Sie auch die Verpackung einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu. Kartonagen können bei
Altpapiersammlungen oder an öffentlichen Sammelplätzen zur Wiederverwertung abgegeben
werden. Folien und Kunststoffe des Lieferumfangs werden über Ihr örtliches
Entsorgungsunternehmen eingesammelt und umweltgerecht entsorgt.

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von Mängeln dieses
Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen
Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den originalen Kassenbon gut
auf. Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt. Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab
dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach
dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind
kostenpflichtig.

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung
gewissenhaft geprüft. Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als
Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B.
Schalter, Akkus oder die aus Glas gefertigt sind. Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt
beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des
Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor
denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden. Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für
den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung,
Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts beginnt
