HOW TO RIDE YOUR ZINGO MOVE
• Place the ZINGO MOVE on a flat surface in front of you with the indicator lights
facing forward. Make sure your ZINGO MOVE is charged
• Turn your ZINGO MOVE on by pressing the circular power button
• For first time riders we suggest that you get a second person to stand at your
side and offer you their arm to help you balance during this early stage
• Place one foot on the rubber foot pad of the ZINGO MOVE so that all of your
weight is directed perpendicular to the ground
• Now place your other foot on the other foot pad making sure that all of your
weight is directed straight downward (it’s important that the second person
assists you in balancing)
• IMPORTANT: DO NOT TRY TO BALANCE AT THIS STAGE – The ZINGO MOVE
incorporates an intelligent gyrostabilizer that responds to your every move, if
you lean forward you will move forward, if you lean backward you will move
backward. If you sway front and back then the ZINGO MOVE will respond with
rapid front and backward motion which could cause you to fall
• The best thing to do at this stage is to simply stand as still as possible
• Once you have got a good feeling of how your ZINGO MOVE responds you can begin
to slowly tilt your feet downward to move forward, and upward to move backward.
You should still be using a friends assistance to help you balance in case you lose control
• Continue to practice this front and backward motion until you feel comfortable
enough that you can turn
• To turn right, simply point your right foot downward whilst keeping your left foot level
• To turn left, point your left foot downward whilst keeping your right foot level
• As your confidence grows you can begin to increase the speed of your
movements
• To move faster in a forward direction tilt your feet forward a little more and to
move backward in a faster motion tilt your feet a little more backward
• You can now incorporate turning as you move forward or backward
• To step off, first bring the ZINGO MOVE to a standstill. Keep your weight
centred and step backward whilst keeping your strongest foot on the ZINGO
MOVE and transferring all your weight onto the foot on the ground behind the
ZINGO MOVE in one fluid movement. Do not attempt to step off the front
of the ZINGO MOVE as it may suddenly move forwards causing you to fall
• To switch off your ZINGO MOVE, press the circular power button
• Your ZINGO MOVE will automatically shut off if it has not been used for 4 minutes
• If your ZINGO MOVE is not level it will give a warning beep. Step off your ZINGO
MOVE and move to smooth, level ground
