The multipurpose Linebacker is arguably the most comprehensive
DMX tool -available in the stage lighting market, ingeniously housing
4 separate functions in one elegant box.

Linebacker is:

A 60 memory DMX backup device
A DMX and cable test tool
A stand alone compact lighting desk
A programmable scene/effect sequencer

Linebacker is equally at home as a universal rental tool, or as
an inexpensive main board DMX backup. It will interface to any
lighting console that has

USITI DMX512 outputs and always
transmits 'clean' DMX data. Alternatively it can used run anything
from a school play to a sequence of scenes in an exhibition,
or even to control colour scrollers. Linebacker is small, simple to
use, inexpensive, and comes with the high level of user
friendliness expected from Zero 88.

Linebacker is a Backup

Up to 60 memories of 512 channels may be grabbed from DMX and
stored, edited or copied with individual cross fade times. In the
event of a main desk failure, Linebacker simultaneously sends an
audible signal to the operator accompanied by a flashing LED. The
backup mode takes over by holding the last good DMX memory cue
until the operator takes control using the GO button. Linebacker
gives the operator the choice of making a quick repair (resetting the

· desk) or, in the event of a catastrophic failure, running the rest of
the show from the GO button. Memories and crossfades can be

selected and modified as required.

Linebacker is a DMX and Cable Tester

Every technician knows that if you can diagnose your problem then
it is usually easy to fix or to work around it. Linebacker has full input
measurement facilities including average, min/max and flicker detec­tion plus output parameter control. Cable Test will detect and
analyse cable faults. For this function alone every technician should
own a Linebacker.

Linebacker is a Compact Control Desk

Linebacker may be programmed, edited and run as a stand alone
memory desk. As such, it is equally at home running a school play
or as a colour scroller control or doing those odd little rental jobs
where a large control desk is not required. A built in Nicad battery
saves information stored for up to 3 months without recharging.
