shallhaveanindividualflashbuttonlocatedbelowthe
correspondingfaderofthelowerpreset.Theconsoleshall
providea‘presetcontrol’functionprovidingtheoperatorwith
48channel2presetoperation.Theconsoleshallprovide
facilitytocontrol12multichannelintelligentfixturesusing

haveasequentialmemorystoragesystemwitha‘Go'button
formemoryreplay.Theconsoleshallhaveamanualfadetime
overridecontrolwithLEDstatusindicators.Theconsoleshall
haveapausebuttonforinterruptingfades,andachasestep
buttonforcontrolofmanualchases.Theconsoleshallhave
twelvesubmasterfadersontowhichstoredlightingstates
andsequencesmaybetransferred.Thesefadersshallbe
availableon12pages,selectablebypageupanddown
buttons,providingatotalof108submasterstoragelocations.
Thecurrentsubmasterpageshallbeshownonaseven
segmentLEDdisplay.Submastersshallbeprogrammable
directlyfromthechanneloutputsorbytransferringmemories
fromthememorystack.Theconsoleshallprovideaquick
methodofeditingselectedchannelsinanystoredlighting
state,thismustbeaccessibledirectlyviaandeditbutton.The
consoleshallprovidespecialintelligentlightfunctions,these
shallincludecalculatedmovementeffects,automaticrandom
chasegeneratorsforallfixtureparametersand24palettesfor
eachofthecolour,beam,positionandgroupattributes.The
consoleshallhaveastandard3.5”floppydiskdrivetobackup
thecompletecontentsoftheconsoleandforoperating
softwareupdates.Theconsoleshallhaverearmounted
connectorsforthecontroloutputsandinputs.DMXoutput
shallbeviaasingleXLR5fixedsocket,DMXpatchshallbe
availablefromtheconsole.Theconsoleshallbetestedat
assemblyandfinishedproductstagesandbesoaktestedfor
aminimumof12hours.
Operation
Theconsoleshallprovidefeedbackforalloperationsviaan
onboardLCDdisplay.Theconsoleshallprovideindicationof
eachofthefollowingfunctions:Nextmemory,currentmemory,
currentsubmasterassignments,memoryfadetimes,current
effect,effectattributes,theLCDshallalsohavedisplaymodes
showingchanneloutputsandmemorypreview.
AnSVGAmonitormaybeusedwiththeconsole.Monitor
displaysaretoincludememories,channelandDMXoutputs,
preview,submasters,palettes,DMXpatchandsuperuser
functions.Itshallbepossibletolockthemonitorontoone
screen.
Theconsoleshallhaveasetofhighresolutionrotaryencoders
forfixturecontrol.TheseencodersshallhaveadedicatedLCD
displaypanelforinformation.Theconsoleshallhavea'super
user'modecontainingadvancedfunctions.Theconsoleshall
haveauserselectablerecoveryoptionintheeventofapower
failure.
Theconsoleshallundergoself-diagnosticchecksduringstart-up
onbothhardwareandsoftwareandshallreportanyfaultstothe
operator.

beproperlytreatedandanodisedorfinishedinspecialistpaintor
powdercoat.All operatorcontrolsanddisplaysshallbeprovided
onthetopoperatingsurfaceoftheconsole.Theoperating
environmentfortheconsoleshallbe+5°Cto+35°C.
