the VERby pressing the POWERon the remote
or on the VCR'sfront pane[. While plugged into
an AEout[et, the VCRconsumes3W of electrica[
power in OFFcondition.
Do not plug the VCRinto o switched power
outtet. Otherwise, when the power is
switched off,, the VCRturns off.. You may
then have to reset the time and date, end
reprogrem operational features.
Set Position of the CH3/CH4 Switch
(Required) The CH3/CH4switch on the VCR's
back panel determines which channelthe VCR
usesto sendvideo signalsto your TV.The TV
must be tuned to the samechannelyou set with
the CH3/CH4switch to see tape p[aybackand
statusdisplays from the VCR.Todetermine
which video channel providesthe best picture
for your system,try the switch in EH3position
and tune your TV to channel3; then try the CH4
position and tune your TVto channel4.

YourVCRadjusts tracking automatically when you pl%, a tape. If

Video Head Cleaning
YourVCRautomaticallycleansthe headsas it is used.However,after long periods of use,your video headsmay become
cloggedwith accumulated dirt, causingdistortion. Whenthis occurs, usea do-lt-yoursetf wet-type head cleaningcassette
available from your Zenith dealer.
Caution:
Donot usea dry-type head-cleaning system. It may seriously damagethe VCRand cassettesusedin the VCR.Snow, streaking
