SECTION 5: Firefighting measures
Suitable fire extinguishing media:
Water (for first aid), chemical powder, carbon dioxide, foam, and dry sand.
Unsuitable fire extinguishing media:
In case of large fires, do not use water.
General fire hazards:
Oxides carbon and other toxic gases will form upon combustion and thermal cracking. In case of large fires, do not water to avoid hot water or molten material splattering and spreading. In case, foam extinguisher will help to shut off air.
Specific fire-fighting methods:
Shut off all sources of ignition. Wear proper protective equipment. After extingusihing, keep personal out by roping round until inside of material cools.
Special equipment / instructions for the protection of firefighters:
The fire-fighting should be done from the windward, with suitable respiratory protective devises.
SECTION 6: Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
When handling material, wear protective goggles, gloves and long-sleeved clothing.
Environmental precautions:
Avoid release of this material into sewer, watercourse or river.
Clean-up procedures:
Ensure adequate ventilation. Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Store in a partly filled, closed container until disposal. Refer to Section 8 "Exposure controls / Personal protective equipment" prior to clean up.
SECTION 7: Handling and storage
Handling procedures:
Prevent contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not breathe vapour and mist. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not taste or swallow. DO NOT heat or spray. Use only with adequate ventilation. Keep container closed. Refer to Section 8.
Storage procedures:
Store at 1032, 4080%RH in the place away from direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed, well-ventilated place away from incompatible materials. Store away from heat, sparks, flames, or other sources of ignition. Use product within three months of receipt for optimum results.

Exposure controls:
Appropriate engineering controls
Local exhaust ventilation is recommended when general ventilation is not sufficient to control airborne contamination below occupational exposure limits.
Personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection:
Use suitable respirator if there is potential to exceed exposure limit. If this material is handled at elevated temperature or under mist forming conditions, a suitable respirator must be used.
Eye / face protection:
Safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields.
Skin protection:
Use impermeable gloves, protective shoes and anti-static long-sleeved clothing as necessary to prevent skin contact.
