The RMEXP is a rack mount adapter for the EXP9 Nine Zone Expander. It incorporates nine STATUS LED's
that indicate zone ON/OFF condition. (NOTE: The STATUS LED's that function will be equal to the number
of zone modules installed in the EXP9). The black anodized panel is a standard 8.75 inch increment height
for 19" racks and is 3/16" thick. Install the panel as follows:
1. Mount the EXP9 to the rear of the RMEXP. Refer to Fig. 2 below. Use the hardware that comes with
the EXP9 and the RMEXP.
2. Plug the 14-lead connector of the ribbon cable into the mating 14-pin connector on the EXP9.
Be sure to orient the connector so that the red stripe on the cable is positioned as shown in
Fig. 2!
3. Mount the completed assembly into a 19" rack using the rack panel cup washers and screws supplied.
