WARNING: Some dust created by
power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and other construction activities contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
Lead from lead-based paints;
Crystalline silica from bricks and
cement and other masonry products and
Arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber. Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemical: work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.

6) Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or comers. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away form heated surfaces.
7) Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
8) Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
9) Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
10) Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away form openings and moving parts.
11) Turn off all controls before unplugging.
12) Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

18) WARNING – To reduce the risk of
electric shock – Do not use on wet surfaces. Do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
19) To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
20) Extension Cord - Make sure your extension cord set is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. For lengths less than 25 feet, No. __16_AWG extension cord should be used. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. (NOTE: Table 1 shows the correct size to use depending on cord length and nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gage. The smaller the gage number the heavier the cord.) To reduce the likelihood of disconnection of lawn mower cord from the cord set during operating:
I) Make a knot as shown in Figure 1, or II) Use one of the plug-receptacle retaining
straps or connectors described in this manual.
