Warranty Details
The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. The benets conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product that the consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar state and territory laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Congratulations on the purchase of your HUD.
The HUD is compatible with the OBD-II interface which allows for “Plug & Play” installation without the need to modify your vehicle’s wiring. The all-digital display will project the vehicle’s speed and engine rotation speed (RPM) directly onto the windscreen for direct viewing while driving.
The HUD also includes an automatic power on/o function. All settings can be accessed by the built-in three way button for easy, one nger operation.
The safest way to view information while travelling without taking your eyes o the road.

Instructions
OBD-II Connection Process
This HUD has been tested on a variety of vehicles with an OBD-II interface and a 12V battery system. Please refer to your vehicle’s user manual before installation. The HUD is compatible with the OBD-II interface which allows for “Plug & Play” installation without the need to modify your vehicle’s wiring
1. Ensure your vehicle is OBD-II certied – If you are unsure please visit the below website. https://www.fueleconomysolutions.com.au/page/obd-ii-applications-guide/ list-of-obd-ii-cars-in-australia/
2. Make sure your vehicle has an OBD-II connector - usually found under the drivers side of the dashboard (as per the below picture)
3. It is recommended that the engine be turned o; connect the OBD-II cable (included in package) to your vehicle’s OBD-II jack.
4. Connect the other end of the cable (mini USB connector) to HUD device.
5. It is recommended that the cable be routed away from the center of the
dash. For example, around the drivers side dash and tucked under trims. Seek professional assistance if required.

First Use
1. Start the engine of your vehicle, this will automatically power on the HUD. a. Once the HUD is powered on, it will show the current vehicle voltage.
2. Press the Function/ Settings button inwards. a. This will check your vehicle’s Engine Control
Unit (ECU) State in this one instance.
3. If the HUD shows the vehicle’s speed the HUD has been installed successfully. a. If after a minute the HUD is only displaying the voltage, check if the HUD’s
OBD-II data cable is connected correctly.
Note - Ensure the OBD-II cable is plugged in tightly
4. If the HUD is still not working, please check to see if your vehicle is OBD-II
compatible.
Reflection Film and Non-Slip Mat Installation
1. Place the supplied non-slip mat (with the adhesive sticker still on) towards the
front of the dashboard .
2. Place the HUD on it with the USB port facing away from the driver.
3. Maneuver the HUD until it’s in a good position.
4. Remove adhesive sticker from the back of the non-
slip mat and secure it to the dashboard, then place the HUD on top of it.
5. Stick the reection lm on a clean and dry
windscreen so the digital read out of the HUD is clear. Remove backing lm on reection lm and paste right above the HUD. It should be able to reect the whole display screen. Ensure there are no bubbles behind the reection lm.

Button Configuration and Function
Do not operate HUD or OBD-II while driving or while the vehicle is in motion.
1. Press the Three Way Button inwards for 5 seconds. This will give you access to the Settings Mode.
2. Using the Three Way Button again, toggle your way through the settings by pushing it up or down. Once an option has been selected push the Three Way Button inwards to conrm.
Quick Function Guide
1. Quick pressing the Three Way button inwards will switch the display information i.e. Water Temperature, Battery Voltage and Speed
2. To enable or disable the sound output on your HUD, push the Three Way button down for 5 seconds.
3. Restore the Factory Settings:
a. Scroll to “L” and leave for 5 seconds, all the LED lights will turn on
b. Repeat the action and leave for another 5 seconds,
c. All settings will now be reset to factory default.

Disposal & Maintenance
Disposal of Packaging
This product has been packaged to protect it against transportation damage. Unpack the HUD and keep the original packaging carton and materials in a safe place. It will help prevent any damage if the product needs to be transported in the future, and you can use it to store the HUD when not in use.
In the event it is to be disposed of, please recycle all packaging material where possible. Wrapping can be a suocation hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach and disposed of safely. Observe any local regulations regarding the disposal of packaging and dispose of it appropriately for recycling. Contact your local authorities for advice on recycling facilities in your area.

At the end of its working life, do not throw this product out with your household rubbish. Electrical and electronic products contain substances that can have a detrimental eect on the environment and human health if disposed of inappropriately. Maintenance and Storage
The HUD does not require scheduled maintaining or cleaning. Should cleaning be necessary, simply wipe the outside surface with a dry soft cloth. Windscreen cleaner can be used on the reection lm, however, never use aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these could damage the housing or reection lm or even impair operation of the Head Up Display. Be sure to unplug this device before cleaning. Always store your device in a clean dry environment and avoid storage in extreme heat or cold.

QUESTION ANSWER
Nothing on screen Make sure the HUD power button is on, make
sure OBD-II is securely connected, start vehicle again.
Power is on, but the screen only shows vehicle battery voltage and switches o after 30 seconds
Vehicle might not be OBD-II or EU OBD compatible, check the sticker under engine board or call your vehicle manufacturer to make conrm.
Projection is not clear in sun light
Make sure you have removed the transparent lm on HUD screen and HUD reection screen is facing the correct way. Ensure the brightness is adjusted to suit.
HUD speed is higher/lower than dashboard instrument
See Menu 0 adjustment. Ensure that Km/h is selected, not Mph
HUD doesn’t automatically power o
When both your vehicle and HUD are powered o, but after 30 seconds HUD restarts automatically, increase the default setting from 13.2 V to 13.5 V (refer to menu 7 in table)
HUD does not automatically power on
Press the Three Way button in for 5 seconds to enter into menu settings. Short press 7 times to menu 7. The default parameter is 132, scroll up or down change it to 128. Press in for 5 seconds to save and exit.

Unfortunately, from time to time, faulty products are manufactured which need to be returned to the Supplier for repair.
Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data (such asles stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a mobile telephone, songs stored on a portable media player, games saved on a games console or les stored on a USB memory stick) during the process of repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost.
We recommend you save this data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them with refurbished goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only used where they meet ALDI’s stringent quality specications.
