1: Volume Controls

Provides separate left/right
volume control. When used in
conjunction with the
Stereo/Mono switch, you can
achieve a “mix” between
channels.

2: Headphone Outputs

Two outputs are provided for
each of the two sections on the
Satellite module. Each set is
wired in parallel.

3: Stereo/Mono Switches

One switch is supplied for each
section of the SAT-1

When using headphone impedances of 50 ohms or less, do
not power the SAT-1 with an amplifier rated greater than 45
watts. Failure to observe this will burn out the current limiting

resistors inside the unit and void the warranty.

4: IN

Input to Satellite Module.
Standard XLR jack is provided
so that hookup can be
accomplished with standard
microphone cables.

5: THRU

Wired parallel to the input jack,
can be used for “Daisy
Chaining” modules.

XLR PINOUT

Pin 1 = shield
Pin 2 = ring (right)
Pin 3 = tip (left)

Optional Equipment: PCHLIP for mounting SAT-1 on a

microphone stand. Available at authorized Whirlwind dealers.
