Optimized for connecting personal audio sources to professional audio system inputs. Use to connect CD and MP3 players, comput er sound ca rd outputs, mini hea dpho n e aud i o out p uts , e tc. t o professional equipment with balanced inputs such as a mixing console.
Signal is input via a 3.5mm (1/8") stereo TRS jack. Output is via left and right balanced XLRs. Designed for nominal –10 dB input sources with minimal loss from input to output.
Features a "STEREO / MONO" switch to combine stereo sources into a mono signal and a “PAD” switch for accommodating "hot" signal sources. A “GROUND LIFT” switch disconnects input ground from the outputs to help eliminate hum and buzz.

ISOPOD2
Made In USA
INPUT (3.5mm stereo TRS jack) Use to connect the audio outputs of computer sound cards, CD
players, mini headphone outputs, etc. The 3.5mm (1/8”) jack is a tip/ring/sleeve type. The tip is connected to the Left channel, the ring is wired to the Right and the sleeve is common ground to both channels.
GND/LIFT (Switch) This switch is usually left in the “GND” position (grounds are
connected from input to output). If hum occurs in either channel when using the ISOPOD2, setting the switch to the “LIFT” position may help to reduce it. (This disconnects the ground between the input and the XLR outputs.)
STEREO / MONO (Switch) When placed in the “STEREO” position, signals are routed to their
respective output. In the “MONO” position, the left and right inputs are summed into a mono signal that is fed to both XLR outputs.
PAD (Switch) Most signals will operate properly when set to the “OFF” position.
The “PAD” position adds attenuation to both the left and right inputs, to reduce the possibility of distortion with “hot” signals.
LOW-Z BALANCED OUTPUT (XLR jack X 2) Left and Right male XLRs, which provide balanced low impedance
signals suitable for connection to balanced, low-Z equipment (mixing console, workstation, etc.) The output signal is a transformer balanced version of the input at almost the same level. Insertion loss is very low with the “PAD” off.
