Quick Reference Guide
Using Your Smart Dryer
WARNING
Fire Hazard
No washer can completely remove oil.
Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils).
Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic must be dried on a clothesline or by using an Air Cycle.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or fire.
1 CLEAN THE LINT SCREEN
2 DRYER
For optimal drying and cycle time, load the drum no more than half full.
3 TOUCH POWER BUTTON

From the home screen, touch the “What to Dry” area of the screen to select the program that best matches the items you
want to dry. Touch the “How to Dry” area of the screen to select between an automatic cycle and a timed (Timed Dry, Quick Dry) cycle to best match the method that you would like for drying those items.

Touch the “Wrinkle Shield” area of the screen and select “ON” to periodically tumble the load after the end of the cycle for up to 150 minutes.

CONNECT TO WI-FI
Download the Whirlpool® app and follow the instructions to connect your dryer to your home Wi-Fi network. You can also visit www.whirlpool.com/connect. In Canada, visit www.whirlpool.ca/connect.
USING YOUR WHIRLPOOL® APP
After having connected to WiFi, touch the REMOTE ENABLE button anytime you want to use the app. Touching this button locks out the LCD screen and you will be prompted with a message about the dryer waiting for input from the app. If you want to exit this mode, simply touch the REMOTE ENABLE button again.
NOTE: Once the door is opened, the remote enable mode will end. To re-enter this mode, touch REMOTE ENABLE.
