You are personally responsible for maklng sure that your €ooldop:
• isinstalled by a qualified installer.
• isproperly installed and leveled ina countertop and cabinet that
can support the weight.
• isproperly connected to thecorrect electric supply and properly

• isused only forjobsexpected of home cooktops.
• isnot used by children or anyone unable to operate itproperly.

or leave them unattended near it.
They could be burned or injured.

hot surface units. Dark colored
units can still be hot enough to
burn severely.

a room. Persons in the room could
be burned or injured or a fire

vent the utensil from being
pushed off the cooktop.

fires. The fire will spread. Cover
fire with large lid or smother with
baking soda or salt.

touch a hot surface unit and you

and container particles could
