BEFORE USING THE REFRIGERATOR
Your new appliance is exclusively for domestic use.
The
freezer compartment
to deep freeze fresh and cooked food, make ice cubes, and for the storage of frozen and deep­frozen food. Defrosting is a manual procedure.

SAFEGUARDING THE ENVIRONMENT
1. Packing
The packaging material is entirely recyclable, and marked with the recycling symbol. Follow local regulations for scrapping.
Keep the packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene parts, etc.) out of reach of children, as they are potentially dangerous.
2. Appliance
The appliance is made using recyclable materials. Dispose of the appliance in conformity with local environmental regulations.
Make the appliance unusable by cutting off the power cord. The appliance must be delivered to an authorised collection centre for the recovery of refrigerant gas.

This appliance does not contain CFCs (replaced with R134a) or HFCs (replaced with R600a - Isobutane). For more information, refer to the identification date plate affixed to the appliance.
Appliances with Isobutane (R600a)
Isobutane is a naturally occurring low environmental impact gas. Caution is required, however, because Isobutane is flammable. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that refrigerant pipelines are not damaged.
Keep this handbook for future consultation.
After unpacking the appliance, make sure

that the door shuts properly. Any damage must be reported to your dealer within 24 hours after delivery of the appliance.
2. Wait at least two hours before connecting the appliance to the power supply, in order to ensure the refrigerant circuit is fully efficient.

PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Use the

freezer compartment
only for making ice cubes, storing frozen food and freezing fresh food.
Do not cover or obstruct the air vents of the
appliance. Do not store liquids in glass containers in the
freezer compartment - danger of bursting. Do not eat ice cubes or ice lollies
immediately after taking them out of the freezer compartment - risk of “cold” burns. Do not allow children to play or hide inside
the appliance - risk of becoming trapped and suffocating. Before servicing or cleaning the appliance,
unplug it from the mains or disconnect the electrical power supply. The power cable may only be replaced by an
authorised person.

COMPARTMENT
Switching on the appliance
1.
Plug in the appliance.
2.
When the appliance is plugged in the intermittent red led lights up (F) acoustic alarm sounds, thus warning that the
correct temperature for storing food has not yet been reached inside the compartments.
3.
Press the red led button (F) the acoustic alarm.
4.
The appliance switches on, the comes into operation (with button (G) alight). The refrigerator compartment temperature is factory set to 5° C.
An acoustic alarm sounds when the door has been left open for more than 2 minutes. Press button (F) again
(see paragraph Refrigerator door open alarm in this chapter).

Temperature adjustment for refrigerator compartment
To adjust the temperature in the refrigerator compartment, proceed as follows:
press button (B) ° C to increase the temperature;
press button (B) ° C to lower the temperature.
Note:
Room temperature, frequency of door opening, the introduction of hot food and incorrect positioning of the appliance can affect the internal temperature of the refrigerator, which may differ from that indicated on the panel.

Switching off the appliance
If the appliance is not to be used for a prolonged period, it can be
switched off by pressing button (D). Although connected to the power supply, the appliance is effectively deactivated, with the interior light switched off and all leds off except the red led associated with button (D). To switch the appliance on again, press button (D).
Defrosting of the refrigerator compartment is completely automatic.
