Heavily soiled, long wearing and temperature stable textiles in cotton and linen
(bed linen, table linen, underwear, shirts etc.).
Normally to heavily soiled bed linen, table linen and underwear, towels, shirts etc.made
of cotton and linen.
Selecting “Cotton 95”, this programme eliminates bacteria, ensuring sanitization of your
laundry . The bacteria removal efficiency has been tested following a similar methodology
to the NF EN 13697 standard of Nov. 2001.
Slightly to normally soiled blouses, shirts, overalls etc. made of polyester (Diolen,
Trevira), polyamide (Perlon, Nylon) or blends with cotton.
Slightly soiled bed linen, table linen and underwear , towels, shirts etc. made of cotton and
linen.
Slightly soiled overalls and sports wear made of cotton, polyester, polyamide and blends
with cotton.
Curtains and delicate clothing, dresses skirts, shirts and blouses.
Only woollens with a felt-free finish, labelled with the woolmark and identified as
machine washable.
If you select “Rinse Hold” do not leave items to soak for too long.
With this programme you can add starch and/or fabric softener.
The programme ends with an intensive spin cycle.
In this programme spinning is intensive. Same as the spin cycle in the “Cotton” programme.
In this programme spinning is gentle. Same as the spin cycle in the “Wool” programme.
In this programme spinning is gentle. Same as the spin cycle in the “Wool” programme.
Drain only - no spinning. Alternative method of terminating the synthetic, delicate and wool
programme and for premature removal of the laundry.

Prewash cycle increases programme duration approximately 15 min. Consumption values were measured in normalized
conditions in compliance with Standard IEC/EN 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect to the
values in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash. The data on
the energy label refer to the programme Cotton 60°C.
ADD DETERGENTS, CLOSE THE DOOR

Add the detergents as described in the programme
table or in the chapter “Detergents and Additives” in
the booklet.

“Intensive Rinse” button
• The water level increases for improved rinsing
efficiency.
• This option is particularly suitable for areas with
very soft water when washing baby linen and
helps people with skin allergies.
• For improved garment care it is advised to use
the option for the Cotton 95°C and the
Coloured 60°C programme.
“No Spin” button
• Excludes spinning from programme, press
button. Suitable for delicate laundry.

Note:
programmes a short spin cycle is provided in any
case, even if the exclusion has been selected, in
order to optimize rinsing results.
“Rinse Hold” button
• The laundry remains in the last rinse water
without progressing to the final spin cycle to
avoid creasing and prevent colours from
changing.
• This option is particularly recommended for the
programme “Synthetic” or “Delicate”.
• This function is particularly useful if you want to
postpone spinning to a later time, or if you want
to drain only.
Terminate the “Rinse Hold” option:
• Press the “Rinse Hold” button again; the
programme will terminate automatically with
the final spin cycle for the present wash
programme.
If you do not wish to spin the laundry , turn the
programme selector knob to the “Drain”
programme.
“Gentle Wash” button
• Reduces the mechanical wash strenght from
strong to delicate.
PROGRAMME CHANGE
To reselect a programme when a cycle has already
started:
1. Switch off the appliance by pressing the “
” button.

2. Select the new programme, temperature and
options.
3. Start the programme by pressing the “
” button again.

PROGRAMME END
1. At the end of the programme the programme
selector moves to the stop position.
2. To unload the washing machine wait for the
door to unlock (about 2 minutes).
3. Switch off the washing machine, open the
door and take out the laundry.
4. Close the tap and leave the door ajar to allow
the drum to dry out.
NOTES AND INDICATIONS FOR USE
Water level
To obtain low water consumption without
compromising washing results the water level
within the drum may not be visible.
Cleaning the pump filter
A regular filter check and eventual cleaning is
advisable.
Washing cycle
During the washing cycle the turning of the drum
is stopped several times for optimization of energy
consumption.
Increased spinning efficiency
During spinning the drum starts and stops turning
several times: in this way the washing machine
performs spinning with increased efficiency.
